The Ridges Resort on Lake Chatuge

Really enjoyed. We will be back

This "resort" isn't what it has been. The property is worn hard. One of our balcony chairs had a large hole in it, the room we were placed in was next to a busy, noisy street and they told us "had you booked through us we could have upgraded us", (sorry Hotels.com) not something we all don't know but they shouldn't say. The carpets in the hotel portion were dirty and so much small maintenance is needed, We won't be back to what used to be a premium property! Sadly, love the location and property, hope someone can save it!

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the lobby and fireplace facing the lake. Our room was really comfortable and clean and we really enjoyed the sliding glass door and patio off of the room. Unfortunately, we came in during the snowstorm so a lot of things were closed and it was kind of a ghost house. The young lady at the front desk was wonderful and so accommodating. We definitely want to come back when it’s warmer so we can enjoy the lake.

The rooms were a little outdated but clean and the staff. Amenities were great
