Staybridge Suites Tallahassee I-10 East by IHG

My favorite feature of this property is the lake within walking distance. The outdoor patio is gorgeous and we enjoyed the peaceful setting. The staff also went above and beyond to accommodate my husband and his disabilities.

The property is very clean, spacious rooms, beautiful outdoor lake area in the back of the hotel, breakfast was very good, and the staff was very professional and friendly.

I absolutely love this beautiful hotel! The desk staff were friendly and helpful. The complimentary buffet breakfast selections were nicely varied (fresh fruit, waffles, ham or sausage, muffins, coffee, etc.). The cleaning staff we met were sweet and considerate. Kitchenette was pre-stocked with dishes, utensils, cookware, dish detergent, etc. The view of Summit Lake from our room was lovely and serene. There's a nice outdoor pool and basketball court. The beautiful building itself and the business area around it seem well kept and pleasant (We were there on July 4th weekend, so the businesses were mostly closed). My ONLY complaint was the cleanliness of the room. Hairs in the tub, bathroom sink. The gorgeous dark granite kitchen and bath counter surfaces were unfortunately visibly dirty. We arrived later than we planned. So rather than bother staff and possibly delay our ability to relax and enjoy our room, I proceeded to clean everything myself with cleaning supplies I had brought along on our trip. It took me a 30 minutes or so. After that, everything was pretty perfect. This was a 23rd Wedding Anniversary trip for my hubby and me. We would definitely stay there again, but next time I'd call ahead to make a request for a second sweep of the room by staff prior to our arrival to check for cleanliness.

Very spacious rooms, great for families, has a nice outdoor seating and indoor seating, good breakfast, and a pretty nice pool with the basketball court. Very relaxing place in a quiet area with no noise of traffic. Have a nice pond with a nice view. If I had to stay here for a long time, it would be a comfortable stay. The rooms were large and the kitchen kitchenette made it convenient.

Many hotels moved to late checkins and early checkouts during Covid. This was understandable but Covid is no more and a 4pm check in and 11am checkout is no longer warranted. Furthermore at the time I booked the hotel they were claiming to have a bar. When I got there the bar was closed and I was told they let the bartender go long ago. I will say the staff were friendly which is why this is a 4 star review and not a 3 star.

There are only a few exercise machines and the tv in the fitness area and on the elliptical did not work. Breakfast was very good. I was charged $150 twice for a deposit and have a $93 charge for an additional day that I pre paid for. We would have appreciated a no animal room as we have allergies but we’re thankful for a no smoking room.

This hotel is a great place to stay. Normally, my visit is exceptional. On my recent visit, my only issue was the room was poorly cleaned. The floors were not swept, and I could see trash swept under the couch. With the room having wood flooring, you could see the dust buildup through the suite. Minus the dirty floors, the hotel was great! I will definitely return on my next visit to North Florida.

We had two rooms. Both had issues with toilets. Our fridge had food from previous guest and shower was not clean.

Clean and updated

The room was fairly clean except for the furniture had dirt on it. The ice maker didn’t work, there were roaches in the kitchen, bed was hard, and a/c was loud (but did work very well). The most surprising thing was when I informed the front desk of these issues (I only told them about the ice maker and roaches, in fairness) the response I got was “thanks for letting us know”…..

Lovely, clean and spacious room. Quiet location. Area around the hotel is lovely, with patio, lake and pretty lights in the evening. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Room was terribly dirty. Sticky floors, toilet rocked back and forth when you sit on it. Poor water pressure. Sheets felt dirty… possibly unchanged! What am I paying for?

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I usually don’t leave negative hotel reviews, however, for the amount of money we spent for a one night stay I expected more. The room we stayed in was INFESTED with roaches! We saw one on the kitchen counter when we got back from dinner and hoped it was a fluke. We threw away any food we had on the counters and made sure our bags weren’t on the floor, but when we woke up the next morning they were everywhere. All over the bathroom floor, crawling up the wall by the sink in the bathroom and a huge one was in the kitchen sink. We got out of there as fast as we could. We didn’t even think about touching the breakfast because were were in room 212 which was directly above where The kitchen is and food is served. The staff were friendly when we checked in and this hotel looked super nice, but it was just a facade. Trust me and stay somewhere else so you don’t take roaches back home with you.

This was the best hotel we stayed at on our road trip from Duluth, MN to Orlando, FL. The front desk staff were amazing and the room set up was perfect for my wife and I and our 4 children. If we are in Tallahassee again at some point, this is where we will be staying!

Bathroom sink and mirror are outside of bathroom which is super inconvenient to me, turning the light on over the sink, brushing your teeth disturbs person in bed, and there is no privacy in that regard.

Wow I was so impressed with my stay at Staybridge. It is on a beauitful lake. I had a lake view, that was breathtaking.

I arrived a little early, and the staff very kindly allowed me to check in plus offered a room with a view of the water at no extra charge. Room had a kitchen with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave and dishwasher. They had even turned on the ice maker, so a few ice cubes were ready! Bathroom was nice and clean. A BIG plus when I travel! It seemed perfect until I returned late in the evening. The bed was extremely worn out and the springs compressed completely when I sat down. It was really late, or I would probably have asked for a different room. In the morning, I reached for a fresh washcloth and was surprised to find brown specs all over one side. I put it down and got another…it also had brown spots all over one side of it. Since the room was so clean, I presume it was something in the washer, but odd that it was only on one side. The specs resembled a trail. While checking out, I mentioned the mattress and the dirty washcloths. The employee said that they were renovating soon and that the fourth floor would be getting new mattresses next. She said there must have been some residue in the washer that marred the washcloths. Overall, it was better than the average Hilton brand properties we have stayed at recently. May consider trying a different hotel next visit to Tallahassee, but wouldn’t be opposed to staying here again as long as I am in a room with a newer mattress.

The location is old and in need of remodeling. The restroom tubs were not clean, towels were like sand paper, pull out couch was all metal and could not be slept on. Mattresses were worn. Breakfast was sub par as the eggs were just foam. All staff were great except the overnight male counter person. He was not helpful and had a really bad attitude from me asking him questions about a order I had delivered that no one could locate.

Room was very smelly and the heater in the bedroom was not working. Cabinets inside were dirty. Just older hotel that needs to be updated

I was unable to stay at this location because they did not inform me of their policy requiring a credit card hold of 50 dollars. My mother tried to give them hers over the phone as I am a broke nursing student. They refused to work with me and I slept in a gas station parking lot. This place had no empathy or desire to help. Please be cautious that they have this expectation and they do not care about their guests. They took 120 dollars from us and I didn’t even stay there. Absolutely sickening.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property. The staff was exceptionally courteous, and my room was both comfortable and impeccably clean. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and efficient. I would certainly choose to stay here again. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to a gas station provides added convenience for travelers looking to continue their journey with ease.

Arrived late and were very tired. Holly checked us in so incredibly quick and directed us where we could park our car with a small trailer. We were in our room and enjoying the pillow top mattress before we knew it. In the morning were able to see the beautiful and quiet grounds. And the breakfast buffet offered many choices. Too bad our stay was a short one. It felt like a good place to relax.

Nice facilities, especially the terraces and pool area, which overlooked a small lake and had a pier. Kiarra, the front desk clerk was very pleasant and attentive. She even checked in on us by text a couple of times during our visit.

10/10 this was the friendliest, nicest hotel we have stayed at in a long time! Free AMAZING breakfast and free food, and drinks in the evenings Mon Wed and Fri. Very clean rooms and responsive housekeeping. Everyone was concerned with if we were enjoying our stay and smiles on everyone. Wonderful whole experience and kudos to management! Thank you!

I’ve stayed here 2x. Both times I have been charged for the stay when I had pre-paid. Make sure to ask for your final invoice while checking out. Front desk staff is real rude.

My mother who is an senior citizen left her purse at the reception. I called a few hours later while I was in a different part of the state not only did the gentleman at the front find it but he also walked me through shipping it out and even had his manager drop off the purse in a FedEx store. This was an act of superb customer service. We will be staying at staybridge suites going forward. This was at the Tallahassee location in summit lake. AMAZING! Breakfast was also great.

This is a nice hotel. By a nice pond, with good looking, comfortable room and fair price. Im keeping it in my "to remember list". Only things, if it care for you. Its a little outside the city.

The only down side is that it is a little out of town. Our daughter lives on the east side of Tallahassee so it was perfect for us. We will try this hotel first for our next stay.

This is a very comfortable and convenient hotel in Tally, but it is 20 mins from the city and there are limited dining choices however, it’s a very safe part of the city. The only negative is that the furniture is very dated and the couches had lots of stains. We also found an old French fry embedded in a chair. Other than this it’s a good location.

The bathroom looked like they forgot to clean. They were very receptive and cleaned the bathroom. The couch had ants. The a/c sounded like a truck the second night. They were very accolades

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The staff was so friendly, helpful. Loved the mon - wed Happy Hour, a great time to interact w other guests, bartender Michael is super nice and cool. The breakfast was delicious, I only have good things to say ab this hotel and the staff, we'll definitely go back. 20min away from FSU and TSC but is a smooth drive and i think is worth it. No place is perfect but i have nothing bad to say ab this hotel.

Staff was efficient and personable. Morning breakfast was unappetizing and of low quality. Even coffee was not very good, sorry to say.

The hotel uses throwaway plates and cutlery; not eco friendly. Wood floor in our room was sticky. Happy hour; nobody to serve us most of the time. Good breakfast.

Hotel room was very nice, spacious and clean. We will definitely stay at Staybridge Suites hotels again. I do have to mention, the breakfast at this location was minimum and not impressive. But it could have been a one off time. (i.e. a big toaster, no bread or bagels, of any kind. No muffins, biscuits or any kind of toast.

Found counter staff to be lazy and a bit rude on both night and morning shift. Cleaning staff was very nice and helpful. Property was very clean and comfortable. At breakfast all trays were empty except fruit, sausage, and biscuits (overcooked and hard) Waffle fixings were available but busy due to lack of other food. Juice machine was out of order.
