After waiting at the airport for a shuttle for over 30 minutes we called the hotel only to be told that you have to schedule a pickup unlike other hotels in the area that regularly pass by. The shuttle driver failed to load one of our carryon suitcases and when this was discovered at the hotel refused to take one of us back to the airport to look for it. He lied about it being the last shuttle. It was clearly posted that there was shuttle service for another hour. Indifference and no compassion and refusal to take responsibility.

For the shuttle from the airport to the hotel you MUST call the hotel and inform the bus zone area you are in. Otherwise you will wait forever…

We booked hotel because of shuttle service and pool prior to cruise. Called hotel day before to confirm where to stand for pick up and when to call them. Arrived at pick up location and called hotel for shuttle...then called again and a third time! Waited over 90 minutes for pick up. We saw a minimum of 100 other hotel shuttle vans arrive before ours. We considered calling Uber but their pickup location was located opposite level. Hotel reason- bad accident blocking traffic. If that was true, why were so many other vans able to pass us several times??? Will make other accommodations next trip. Also, pool area was small and main smoking area for guests and staff. Pool towels not filled on day 2 of our stay either. Late arrivals extremely loud in hallways, not a quiet place at all.

Outside front of property is very nice. However, back by pool that was filthy, the building showing signs of its age with patchwork and black soot on air conditioning units.. Pool only ran part time so covered in bugs and debris. It was 90 degrees out and I wanted to go in so I skimmed the pool just so I could go in it.. Breakfast and staff 1st rate. Room was clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. Shower curtain wouldn’t stay in place so each time I showered there was a mess to clean up.

Plenty of parking spots and clean rooms. 24/7 available coffee was also unique

Parking has an additional $5.00 + tax cost.

PROs- comfortable bed, great bfast CONs- dirty pool, found used qtips on the floor, shower curtain didn’t stay on the rod correctly so water went everywhere, a/c in room didn’t work right, whole hotel needs an upgrade, homeless looking guy hanging out inside and outside the hotel.

Pool has to be cleaned

Checking was super easy, Antonio at the front desk even signed us up for IHG and got us a late check out. Bed was very comfortable. Fresh Coffee and tea available 24 hours in lobby! Breakfast buffet was so convenient and fairly tasty, good variety. Room had mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. They had a mini market with a few items to snack on or make on microwave. Very pleased with our quick stay.

Hotel was clean...staff was friendly...Breakfast was good..except eggs and sausage was cold...pool was ok..nothing great.. Airport transportation was free...which was great...but only operates 6 am until 10 pm...so be aware of that limitation if traveling via plane

The facility is conveniently located in central Doral , walkable and safe; However, the room had roaches and other bugs, the rug looked dirty and there was an awful , sewer smell in the hallway that came into the room. The pool looked dirty as well. They do offer free breakfast and the price is good.

It was like a 2 star hotel. Water damage on hallways, room doors didn't open like normal.

Property was clean, staff were friendly and breakfast was good.

Excellent breakfast, nice and clean room and the facility

The bathroom was dirty and they need fix some of the walls of the property

I was impressed by the cleanliness the lobby the eating area the elevators the hallways and most of all were how spacious and how cleaned it looked the king size bed is very comfortable the clean white bed sheets were soft and fresh the pillows had a new pillow look the bed felt awesome. The bathroom was cleaned and it smelled also fresh. Overall i would definitely comeback again my week went so fast.

I like the cleanliness

I paid extra for a King Suite, however the TV in the living room did not have cable connection.

Rooms need updated

The only thing that it lacked was ample lighting in the room that made it difficult to work.

Lovely staff. We are very comfortable. The king room is nice and spacious.

Very Noisy room in front of the elevator, Only 1 elevator for the whole building, the breakfast area is very small and tight to move around, not enough tables to sit down.

Decor needs a refresh, not just paint!

It was very dated, but clean

Good location, breakfast and clean. Rooms were bigger than expected.

The bed was hard and uncomfortable as were the lumpy pillows. Hair on the bathroom floor and the hallway smelled musty. AC did not work very well. Just overall uncomfortable stay and couldn’t get much rest.

I think the hotel can do with major remodeling to get updated with surrounding businesses. Also, reception could use some training as they are in the service industry.

Staff was great!! We got in from our cruise at 9am, had no where to go or to put our bags. The front desk rushed our check-in for us, taking care of our bags while we walked around, the room was ready around 11:30am (regular 3pm checkin) Very accommodating! Shuttle to airport and back was convenient and easy. Clean, bed was comfortable. Pool needs a little updating.

Came off of a cruise and arrived just after 9:00 am they got us into a room super early and were very accommodating. Staff were extremely helpful and kind. Food options within walking distance! Great experience and would definitely stay there again!

Staff at front desk not very friendly when checking in.

I arrived from a 24hrs flight to your hotel feeling very tired. The check-in process was no problem. But Around 2 am. I was shaken to my core when one of your employees entered my room without permission. I was so scared and so confused by why this gentleman was In my room. My door had a do not disturb sign since I had an early flight this morning on July 1st. Once the employee saw me. He apologized and left immediately. I made a note to myself to have a conversation with the manager since I was so tired. About 10mins later right when I was going back to sleep, I got woken up once again by the telephone at the front desk. The front desk person wanted my check-in details. There was a mistake made during my check-in and I got the incorrect room, mind you that this happened at 2am in the morning. Unfortunately, I couldn’t sleep or rest after this final incident. I’m extremely frustrated, tired, and dissatisfied with your staff. There was a breach of hotel privacy and I’m extremely upset about the whole situation. This is so unprofessional.

Staff at reception desk at nights is horrible

The hotel charged me the full price at the counter even though a deposit was paid via Travelocity. This was highlighted during check in both and after our stay had ended on review on the receipt. To date, still no response or refund. The manager on morning duty VERY uncooperative in most aspects. Room was fine. Facility in general was fine.

The front desk clerk Lorayne is wonderful. Best check-in ever! Professional, friendly, and so very helpful. Lorayne is a true asset for Holiday Inn Express. She answered all of our questions and knew where every place was. All the information we needed, and always with a smile. Such a pleasant experience. We will return next year!

Great shopping and dining in this area. Do not need a car for a few days

Hotel is in a nice area of Miami. Very safe and secure. Front desk manager was pleasant, friendly, and helpful. A little further from the airport, but they provide a shuttle. Glad I chose this hotel!

A good location and easy to locate from the airport, good connection with Dolphin Mall and other malls. Other commercial firms easy connection. Safe area, eateries in abundance.

The location was great. Close enough to Dolphin and international mall as well as walmart and siteseeing areas. There was a Ross, Marshalls and CVS within a block away. The only drawback is when it rains the area around the hotel floods and you cant venture out without a vehicle.

The location is great for walking to restaurants and little less busy of area. Also is close for shopping.

This hotel is conveniently located close to City Place, Marshalls, Home Goods, pharmacies, banks and many restaurants, all walking distance. Friendly staff, shuttle to and from the airport. The rooms and facilities are clean, soft and firm pillows and comfortable beds. Breakfast included. This is my 6th stay here and will be back soon,

Convenient location

Breakfast is not enough for vegetarians also breakfast area is quite small

The stay was very good, staff was very helpful. We were very disappointed with the coffee at breakfast, not hot.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. Towels changed each day and ample toiletries were provided. The daily breakfast was ok... not exactly to my caribbean standards but we made do. There was no restaurant on site however City Place Doral is a block away. And we were able to walk to Ross and Marshalls nearby to shop as well.

Just one observation, the breakfast is very repetitive.

The only issue was the breakfast closed to early and the employees were very rude !

Very nice hotel. Good breakfast. Nice pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Transportation every hour to airport.
