Lagom storlek på rummet. Kändes inte fräscht, hade en stark kemisk lukt av rengöringsmedel. Dålig grundstädning. Luktade avlopp på terrassen. En ac-anläggning som dånade så att den inte gick att ha på under natten. Störande trafik. Frukostpåse att hämta i receptionen med innehåll som inte levde upp till en ok frukost.

Room had paper thin walls, could hear conversation very clearly without even trying. Canal wasn’t as pleasant as listed. Found ants inside the dresser. Smelled strong of mold/mildew.

Facility very dated, needs much updating. Pool filter never on but not filthy. Keurig coffee pot in room, coffee provided horrible. Suggest bringing your own. Right on the busy roadway so very loud traffic noise at all times. Hard to exit out if lot going left. Rooster on site to wake you at 6:30a every morning.

This property is conveniently located right off US one in Marathon. My room faced the highway, so there was a lot of traffic noise, but that didn’t really bother me so much. My first evening on property, a man approached me in the parking lot and asked for money. That was offputting and a little frightening. I continued to walk past my room so he didn’t know where I was staying. That felt very unsafe. My car was parked just outside my room. It was about 830 at night so it was already dark outside. The room was large and spacious. Very clean, but no table for the sofa or any other desk or workspace. There’s certainly plenty of room to put some additional furniture. Bed linens were very nice. Plenty of towels. While the pool area seems well maintained and the furniture is very nice including the umbrellas, there was a distinct garbage smell the day I was at the pool, which was overpowering. There’s a lot of chickens running around the property near the pool, which didn’t bother me, but I could see how they would be intimidating to small children or folks who aren’t familiar with chickens and how they can be. There is no ice machine anywhere, but the lobby staff is happy to provide bags of ice for you if you ask. All in all, this was a great location for me to serve as a base while here in the keys..
