Pelican's Perch Oceanfront Cabin Getaway - Brookings, OR

This cabin is in a great location to explore Oregon and California. It was the perfect amount of space for me and my husband. The beach is very easy to get to with steps leading down, make sure to explore and low tide to see a lot of sea life including a lot of starfish. For eating you can go to Brookings or Cresent city within 30 min. Very comfortable beds and amazing hot tub with views. Thank you for an amazing place to stay!

Absolutely fantastic! On the beach with the sound of the waves Great spot with everything you need. Coffee at sunrise sitting in the hot tub is pretty magical. Plenty of cooking supplies Plenty of space for the 3 of us.

The views are AMAZING, the absolute best on the Southern Oregon Coast. We got married on the white rock resort private beach and come here on an annual basis, so we have lots of family memories at this particular resort. However, over the last 3-5 years we\'ve seen a significant decline in the quality of the resort. Unfortunately, the bed in the master is extremely uncomfortable (firm) and really high to get into. Upon arrival, we were excited to hop into the hot tub with a mimosa taking in all the breathtaking views. Instead it was ice cold with a note stating, "be patient while it heats up." We were understanding at first...until it still wasn\'t even up to 95 degrees on the morning of the 2nd day of our stay. (Remember, there is a two night minimum to stay at White Rock Resort) So, we patiently waited until the end of the 2nd day and found the hot tub had turned completely off. We tried to trouble shoot the issue by resetting the GFCI and the breaker with no luck. Additionally, these cabins have only have a hot water heater to accommodate a 5-10 minute shower....and that means you didn\'t do any dishes prior to your shower, otherwise it\'s ice cold as well. To say the least...The view was awesome, but the upkeep of these cabins is subpar, they need to install an on demand hot water heater in every cabin so you are able to take a HOT shower and they are able to fill their hot tubs with warm water when sanitization is necessary.

We spent 2 nights in cabin 6 at White Rock. We’ve been to WR several times but not to this cabin. You can’t beat the location it’s the best! Considering how expensive these little cabins are I guess I have high expectations. The biggest upset was the hot tub needed to be cleaned, it was slimy and not that hot. I couldn’t get it to get hotter than 102, reached out to the contact about this but there was no response. Overall we had a great stay. Thanks for the muffins!

The cabin is amazing, the only thing better is the view. Through the back windows you can barely tell you are not out "in" the ocean it\'s that close to the water line. The private jacuzzi on the back deck only adds to the experience and at night on clear days its dark enough out to see all the stars. The price is a little steep but for what you get its well worth it to spoil yourself every once in a while. Communication from the host was great, with quick responses to all messages and this was during the Thanksgiving holiday showing a commitment to serving their guests. We will definitely be booking this location again in the future, nothing but a positive experience.

We booked our trip on Vrbo for a birthday long weekend. It was rhe best little getaway! Breathtaking view, privacy, all the amenities you could need plus the luxury of a private jacuzzi and access to a private beach! The cabin was exceptionally well kept and welcoming. Added to all of that was nearby shopping, restaurants and a million little things to do. We'll be back again and again! Thank you for an amazing weekend!

What a wonderful time my husband and I had at this awesome beach house! The house was beautifully decorated, very clean and the kitchen had everything you need. Sitting in the hot tub overlooking the ocean was an added bonus. We believe that Debbi, the owner, really strived to make her guests feel welcome and comfortable and she definitely succeeded. We would love to come back again!

We stayed at Pelican's Perch two nights. It was a nice location right on the water. We had our own private cabin which was nice. There is a deck with hot tub overlooking the beach. The hot tub was hot and felt great after a long day of hiking/walking trails. When we first walked in, the cabin seemed very cute. We loved the blue and turquoise accents everywhere. It was very functional and we got a great night's sleep. But after lingering in the cabin a little longer, the furniture had a foul odor; the reclining couch in particular. Another issue is that the hot water tank had barely enough hot water for one person to shower and the cabin is designed to accommodate 4. The recommendation was to turn the water off between lathering and rinsing, but we did not feel that was reasonable considering what we paid. If the furniture was cleaned and the hot water situation was resolved, this could be a perfect cabin and worth revisiting.

The views are extraordinary! We enjoyed the ocean views from the kitchen, living room, and outside on the deck. The hot tub was a very nice amenity. The kitchen is a good size. We used the stove and oven. We plan to stay in that unit, again.

We absolutely loved our stay here for our winter vacation! Beauitful views with a great central location to explore the oregon and california coast. Very close to redwoods as well. Loved walking the east to access private beach everyday and watching the ocean while relaxing in the hottub. Being binoculars to see all the starfish on the rocks from the room at low tide! Owner reached out to us to check how everything was going a couple times and that was very nice of them to do. We never needed anything but the communicate great!

We really enjoyed our time at Pelican’s Perch Cabin! The views are fantastic and the cabin was so clean and cozy. We loved the location too! Perfect driving distance to Crescent City, Brookings & the Redwoods. There’s also a hot tub on the back deck overlooking the ocean. What more could you ask for?? Owner was very pleasant and quick to respond. Highly recommend staying here!

After a no-fuss check in, we were immediately impressed by the neat and excellently stocked, cabin. From a large assortment of spices to beach towels and lap throws for cool mornings, the cabin was thoughtfully outfitted. It is located near state and national redwood parks which we hiked in. The wild blackberries were at their peak and were delicious.

Cabin is gorgeous and has a wonderful view of the ocean. Everything as described in the listing and had a great experience.

Beautiful condo, gorgeous weather for December vacation. Condo was clean, comfortable, & exceeded my expectations. Definitely on my list to revisit again. Unfortunately my husband came down with Covid day before we were scheduled to stay, so I ended up taking my granddaughter. We had the private beach to ourselves. She loved the little loft! The view is spectacular.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three days on the water. The cabin was adorable, the beds were comfortable, and the view was spectacular! Great semi private beach. Loved our stay!

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this beach front cabin. The views were amazing and the cabin had everything our family of 4 needed for three nights. Its small and the loft was fun for the kids but adults would have a hard time sleeping in it. Bathroom was compact but no issues with hot water. Best overall part was the sound of the ocean and the views of the beach especially at Sunset. Kitchen had everything we needed with a normal size fridge.

Great time this cabin was very comfortable Had trouble get checkin code. There was no garbage can ..had to ask for one..but they brought it right away. Several light switches need fixing. There wasnt any dish cloths to wash the counters. And the bed was way to tall. Although very comfortable. All things we could live with .. and we had a great time

We love this place. There were a few bumps with the change in management but they were kind and apologetic. We will absolutely stay again.

This is our 3rd stay at Pelicans Perch and love it. It’s been awesome, but after this stay we were charged for damage to the shampoo dispenser which we did not do. We always leave the place better than when we arrive, and are very disappointed in the communication about this. We have tried to get ahold of the management, with no reply. Very frustrating and unfortunately we will not book again.

Beautiful condo, gorgeous weather for December vacation. Condo was clean, comfortable, & exceeded my expectations. Definitely on my list to revisit again. This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at pelicans perch. We really enjoy the sunset and location of this cabin . We will definitely be returning . ☺️
