We checked in late, 12am to the Dolphin after late hours at Hollywood Studios. We walked over to the resort and went upstairs to just sleep. The room was comfy and se got a good night's sleep. There was a fire alarm being tested at 9am the next morning. We were up, but it was going off again when we got back from Disney Springs. The hotel had so much to offer and looked like so much fun, but we were just there for the one night.
We checked in late, 12am to the Dolphin after late hours at Hollywood Studios. We walked over to the resort and went upstairs to just sleep. The room was comfy and se got a good night's sleep. First time staying here. The property is amazing. The staff is amazing and the amenities are amazing. The problem....is that no matter where you book your reservation whether it is directly with the hotel or through a secondary site like Hotels.com, The charges are not the actual charges. In my case, the taxes and resort fees total 41% of the room charge for both nights. So, when you budget for your stay, budget for 1.5x what they say that the room charge is plus parking. Also, the Dolphin is undergoing renovation (9/25-27/2026) and there is very limited parking. So, we either had to valet, $64.97/night or self park at the Swan and walk to the Dolphin, $42.60/night. Just beware of all of these extra charges when booking.

We loved the location, pools, tried coffee shop- good breakfast, comfortable bed, nice water pressure. USB ports were all broken- made it a pain to charge magic bands. Also personal preference: shampoo smells musky which is not my vibe. Would stay again and bring shampoo and usb blocks.

Access to parking vehicle on arrival was difficult, with no clear markings for those checking in. Therefore, attempted to park vehicle in a parking lot, which required a room key. After checking in, I drove vehicle to park in Standard Parking lot, with no available empty spaces. The lot was over parked with vehicles on inappropriate areas within lot. After returning to entry of hotel, we obtained attention of a Luggage attendant, who stated lots are full due to some type of convention today (9-23-26) Only option to leave auto with Valet Service, which we did. Received a green ticket to give to Bell Hop on receiving luggage at assigned room. After more than one hour waiting for luggage in our room, decided to go to Lobby to find BellHop area to inquire of luggage. The attendant present stated, we didn't have your ticket to send luggage to your room. I left them the green ticket given to me by the valet attendant. Poor communication, with additional steps required by a new customer. Why? Luggage arrived within 10 minutes, after returning back to room. Not a way to start your first time experience on Disney properties (The Dolphin). Shared comments on checking out at Front Desk, did receive apology, but no concession on paying for valet services which were not necessary. Parking for new arrivals, who paid in advance, should be planned, accordingly. Unlikely to return to Disney Properties nor purchasing a renewal Annual Pass. Unhappy Disney Supporters
