The main house was cute and charming. They provided free Starbucks coffee which was so nice! The pools were cool and shady. Our room was in the house next door on the 2nd floor and the bad thing was there was no elevator. The room was small but nice and clean. The king bed was very comfy. The tv didn't change channels unfortunatley. Overall it was a great place to stay if you want on the quieter side of Key West.

Fantastic stay! Such a quiet beautiful place very close to Duval street and all the fun but far enough away to be peaceful. Afternoon wine and cheese, two pools, hot tub, great hot breakfast! And your a short walk to the southern most tip of the island! We will definitely be back.

Clean adult only property at the quiet end of Duval street. We parked our Jeep with paid hotel parking and rented a moped for easy free parking on the island. The hotel has one cold pool, one heated pool and a hot tub. A happy hour with wine and various other small bites of crackers, cheese cubes and mixed nuts. The breakfast was a simple variety but was substantial enough for us. Fresh ground Starbucks coffee machine and friendly staff round out the experience nicely.

Older, smaller property on quiet end of Key West with lots of southern charm. Both pools were immaculate and the perfect temperature, right down the steps from the porch deck outside of our suite (though the deck area at the back of the building was quite slippery). 2 resident green iguanas amused us chasing each other around the larger pool. Loved the island vibe music playing outside as well. Plenty of loungers and towels. Huge palm trees were fantastic to see—could see the coconuts & acai berries if you looked up! Only 1 girl seemed to be working, so check-in was slow. We missed wine & cheese happy hour. No bar. I floated my cares away for hours with nobody else in the pool! Not a party hotel, was perfect for RELAXING! Big clean, comfy bed. Bathroom wasn’t the greatest, but it was old, so we didn’t expect much better! Beautiful wooden leaf shaped ceiling fans. AC worked great. Perfect stay! Oh, and there were Ubers parked across the street early in the morning, so when we requested a ride through the Uber app, it was right there with no wait!

Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone planning a stay in Key West. However, I was unaware that parking wasn’t included in the booking, which added an extra $25 per day to the cost.

The location (a half block from Duval St.) was GREAT. The pool was lovely BUT cold. We were told the heater was broken- not repaired the whole week we stayed! Breakfast/ Happy Hour were nice (worth the charge?). Staff was pleasant and helpful. Can they put a smoking ban by the pool (cigarettes, cigars, and Marijuana odors)? The rooms are showing their age.

The property was in a great location and had very nice amenities available for when we needed to put our feet up and/or grab a bite to eat. The complaint we have is the room. The bed was either broken and/or incredibly old and practically folded when you'd lay in it. We were both very uncomfortable. Secondly, the bathroom was disgusting. There was rust on the fixtures, but worse, MOLD on the shower head. I was able to just wipe some off with a towel suggesting the cleaning staff never cleans it. This is a health hazard and I would have demanded a new room if we weren't there for just a night. I would highly recommend you renovate/clean that bathroom so people don't get sick.

It took 3 times of me asking before our got cleaned ! It was supposed to be cleaned the second day there. Our garbages were full and we had a ask for more towels. Then when it was cleaned they didn’t refill Kleenex , cups etc…. Remote control was on the floor which was dirty still ! Disappointed.

The Southernmost Inn is fantastic. From the moment I checked in, the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. My room was clean and spacious, and the property itself was well-maintained. With the addition of the continental breakfast which included eggs, fresh made waffles and assortment of breads, bagels, and cereals it was a great way to start the morning. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel is lovely but we encountered issues with the shower in the bathroom the water wouldn't go down the shower was dirty and there were bugs in the bed!! And they charged us additional hotel fees that I had already paid through Expedia.

The staff was very rude. Our room wasn’t cleaned, we weren’t given clean towels for the multiple days. When I called the front desk to talk about my issues I left a voicemail and they never called me back.

Bed bug! Plus, the door is leaky with large gaps that let light in and bugs get in. No one bothers to come over and wipe the dust. Never again! Now I have to go to the doctor. I have to determine what bit my legs? The bites are right next to each other!

This place was very disappointing for the price. I got a room in Miami for $100 that was better. The SM Inn only has 6 parking spots, that barely fit small cars and they charge $30 a night. Another..better place to park is 1.5 blocks away for $25. The room was small...bathroom door would stick and there wasn't even a soap bar holder in the shower! There was a roach with a load of ants in the hallway near my room. I mentioned the bugs to the front desk and they did nothing to clean/take care of the bugs. I'd never stay there again-that's for sure!! One positive is that they have nice pool and hot tub...that is about it.

Check in was slow and confusing. Room was a big disappointment. “Suite” was very cramped and bathroom was awful. Grout not scrubbed in decades, gray dirty caulking around tub. Needed a room for 3 and we had an extra person charge of $40/night. But that was for a terrible sofa bed with a very thin mattress, felt every spring underneath. Be sure you don’t get this “suite”. Whoever sleeps on the couch has to go through the one bedroom to reach the bathroom. In the room with the couch you can’t walk around the bed or open the mini fridge if the bed is pulled out. The floors downstairs and up are very very uneven so be careful. They’ve laid vinyl flooring over the previous but it’s not at all level. They’ve tried to screw down some of the luxury vinyl plank downstairs in the dining area. This is very much a 2 star operation. The breakfast had make your own waffles, hard boiled eggs and yogurt which were appreciated. We also liked the happy hour of wine, cheese cubes and nuts. Paying over $1400 for the 2 nights was even for Key West excessive. I was hoping for charm but it is just shabby and front desk people are not friendly. I’d advise looking elsewhere.

Great location without all the noise. We enjoyed our stay, very friendly staff. Check in was easy, although we weren't crazy about the additional resort fees. I would still recommend. The rooms were clean and someone was always going through cleaning pool area. Rooms are pretty small so if you need a lot of space, you might want to upgrade to a suite. It worked for us as we spend little time in the room. Take advantage of the little cafe next door "Frenchies" it was fantastic. We would stay there again.

It was good for the price. Very clean property, they maintain the grounds well. Bed was ok, need better pillows. Didn’t like that u can’t control the AC in ur room. The entire building is the same temp. Breakfast was included but pretty basic. The staff is nice . However at 7am most mornings the staff is yelling and talking loudly in hallways. If you’re not an early riser it’s annoying.

Needs to be updated. The furniture and fixtures are old, and looks like came out of a Salvation Army store. The bedroom TV did not work. Breakfast was okay. The mattress was very comfortable. About $9.00 Uber to downtown. Very little water pressure in the shower. No telephone, so no wake up call. I booked a room with king bed and sofa. The rooms were large. One night, mid week.
Needs to be updated. The furniture and fixtures are old, and looks like came out of a Salvation Army store. The bedroom TV did not work. Breakfast was okay. The mattress was very comfortable. About $9.00 Uber to downtown. Very little water pressure in the shower. No telephone, so no wake up call. I booked a room with king bed and sofa. The rooms were large. One night, mid week.

Older, smaller property on quiet end of Key West with lots of southern charm. Both pools were immaculate and the perfect temperature, right down the steps from the porch deck outside of our suite (though the deck area at the back of the building was quite slippery). 2 resident green iguanas amused us chasing each other around the larger pool. Loved the island vibe music playing outside as well. Plenty of loungers and towels. Huge palm trees were fantastic to see—could see the coconuts & acai berries if you looked up! Only 1 girl seemed to be working, so check-in was slow. We missed wine & cheese happy hour. No bar. I floated my cares away for hours with nobody else in the pool! Not a party hotel, was perfect for RELAXING! Big clean, comfy bed. Bathroom wasn’t the greatest, but it was old, so we didn’t expect much better! Beautiful wooden leaf shaped ceiling fans. AC worked great. Perfect stay! Oh, and there were Ubers parked across the street early in the morning, so when we requested a ride through the Uber app, it was right there with no wait!

It was extremely hard to sleep due to lack of insulation. Otherwise a great spot, breakfast was nice and 24 hr Starbucks coffee available was a plus. Pool area is very nice and inviting.

The pool and grounds are beautiful! The breakfast was adequate and the evening wine and cheese was a nice touch. While the Matress was very comfortable the room is very small and needs some TLC. In the room is an armless wood chair that had to be moved near the door for fear of tripping go to the bed and bathroom! Really? We stayed for 3 nights and could not connect to the internet in our room. We immediately told the front desk, and again complained to the front desk the next day. I even had the first one come to the room to demonstrate the problem. She also tried and failed. Both clerks said our room was the only one having problems! So? It’s a shame to pay $40+ dollars for a “resort fee” and not get internet in the room!

The pools, hot tub and facilities were clean and nice. Walking distance to everywhere. My only complaint is the staff weren't as pleasant as I thought they would be. Requested cleaning service on the second day of our stay (which is given) before 3pm because we would be back by 3 to get ready for a wedding. Returned to our room at 2:45. Housekeeping arrived at 2:55 to clean our room just as we started to get ready and shower for the wedding. Then couldn't return at 4:15 when we would leave because they were finished for the day. The next morning they couldn't offer a late checkout and actually gave me an attitude that I was even asking. Chose to just check out and have our bags held with a friend at Southernmost Resort. Do not think I'd stay there again with all the options offered in Key West with more friendly staff. The woman who checked us in our first day on Friday 11/1 was the best and only pleasant staff member.

Check in was slow and confusing. Room was a big disappointment. “Suite” was very cramped and bathroom was awful. Grout not scrubbed in decades, gray dirty caulking around tub. Needed a room for 3 and we had an extra person charge of $40/night. But that was for a terrible sofa bed with a very thin mattress, felt every spring underneath. Be sure you don’t get this “suite”. Whoever sleeps on the couch has to go through the one bedroom to reach the bathroom. In the room with the couch you can’t walk around the bed or open the mini fridge if the bed is pulled out. The floors downstairs and up are very very uneven so be careful. They’ve laid vinyl flooring over the previous but it’s not at all level. They’ve tried to screw down some of the luxury vinyl plank downstairs in the dining area. This is very much a 2 star operation. The breakfast had make your own waffles, hard boiled eggs and yogurt which were appreciated. We also liked the happy hour of wine, cheese cubes and nuts. Paying over $1400 for the 2 nights was even for Key West excessive. I was hoping for charm but it is just shabby and front desk people are not friendly. I’d advise looking elsewhere.

Upon checking in the front desk receptionist was very rude. She kept disappearing and the manager had to help us with our bag storage until check in. She would even stay in the back office while people were approaching the desk. There was no room service during our stay and I had to take my own trash out of the room every day. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you want self service for outrageous prices!

Kia was amazing. She works at the front desk and really met our needs. She helped us with siding what tours to take and she helped us with local restaurants and shops and sightseeing tours. She was very kind and professional. Basically, she was the best staff member. I thought that was on the property. We will certainly come back. Best regards, Allison and Peter.

The Southernmost Inn is the perfect little spot to enjoy all that Key West has to offer. You are literally 1 block away from the Southern most point Beach,Duval Street and Frenchys Cafe which is by far the best breakfast place ever. You are a quick bike ride from Higgs beach,the Butterfly Conservatory and White Pier . My room was huge I stayed in 210 i had a living room,kitchenette ,separate bedroom and bathroom. I was conveniently located on the 1st floor. I enjoyed the free breakfast and wine & cheese from 5pm to 7pm at the pool. The front staff was friendly and got a settled with our bike rentals and unlimited free cold water bottles. Im definitely booking this relaxing, clean,easy to reach everything resort for next time.

I enjoyed my stay at the Southernmost Inn. My room was clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was decent and I enjoyed that they had coffee/tea all day as well as water. The downside was the parking situation, having to pay so much. But I liked that every was so close I didn’t have to drive once I parked.

Loved the convenient location to Duval from the south end . Having a room in the back and on second floor made for a quiet stay. Our room was small but clean, breakfast really all we needed and able to change what we ate every day. Loved the coffee machine , tea selections and the happy hour wine , cheese/crackers and mixed nuts was nice for a little start to the evening. The pool area , jacuzzi were well maintained and clean. Liked having the dorm size fridge in the room.

I love the continental breakfast and the cheese and wine happy hour. It makes paying $40 a night for a resort fee less painful. I also liked that they did not charge an incidental fee assuming you’re gonna trash the hotel room. In fact, most hotels I stayed at while in Key West. Don’t collect both. The silver palms and does stay away from there. They don’t even disclose it on Expedia and you have to dig for it through 6 to 8 clicks to see it. This resort has bicycles you can rent. Beautiful rooms with very comfortable beds. Cold air conditioning. Cute pools, and a really nice group of people that travel here. It’s adults only but not in a weird way.

I traveled solo and stayed in the Attic Room. The room I stayed in is bigger than it looks in the pictures. There is a small private bathroom with shower stall. The room doesn't get super cold but the AC keeps it comfortable. (I think a table fan would be a great addition to the room) There is a TV and decent sized mini fridge. No microwave but there is one in the dining area on the first floor. The location is great in proximity to Duval street. Getting to the north side of the island for water sports, etc is a short drive or long-ish walk away. The staff was extremely pleasant, particularly Anthony. The 24-hour Starbucks coffee and filtered water machines are a thoughtful touch, along with the light breakfast served daily in the cute dining area. I did not get a chance to use the pools but they looked very nice. Anyhow, if you are traveling by yourself, I recommend this place unless: you are super tall, need to be in a 65° room, or have trouble with stairs.
I traveled solo and stayed in the Attic Room. The room I stayed in is bigger than it looks in the pictures. There is a small private bathroom with shower stall. The room doesn't get super cold but the AC keeps it comfortable. (I think a table fan would be a great addition to the room) There is a TV and decent sized mini fridge. No microwave but there is one in the dining area on the first floor. The location is great in proximity to Duval street. Getting to the north side of the island for water sports, etc is a short drive or long-ish walk away. The staff was extremely pleasant, particularly Anthony. The 24-hour Starbucks coffee and filtered water machines are a thoughtful touch, along with the light breakfast served daily in the cute dining area. I did not get a chance to use the pools but they looked very nice. Anyhow, if you are traveling by yourself, I recommend this place unless: you are super tall, need to be in a 65° room, or have trouble with stairs.
