Excellent location, comfortable beds and a great fitness center with a pool. The hot tub was out of order. A property of this caliber should not have such significant stains in the carpet in the room.

It has a very nice, airy, grand reception area. Parking is plenty. The only thing negative is the condition of the bathroom. It needs to be detailed. There are a lot of smudges on the walls and rust on the tub and sink. The sink drains very very slowly.

I didn't like the Comforters on the beds. Every time you moved it sounded like paper crunching. Also, the bar closed Half an hour early. Because there was only four people. I was rushed to drink the 1 drink i bought.

Parking was terrible. I had to park so far away both nights. And the window lights in the parking lot. It’s very dangerous. But it’s a hotel. Guess I shouldn’t have to park so far away. I mentioned it to The Manager on duty and I received a blank stare. She then informed me that it had been fixed and now it’s broken. Not sure what that was supposed to do.

The staff was so kind and helpful! Kiersten from sales was jumping in to help when their system was having some trouble at check-in!! She was super sweet !!! The rooms were clean, parking was easy, gym was amazing!! I will definitely be choosing this hotel for all my future stays in Gainesville!

Our stay at Hilton was average. The location was great and very close to the UF campus. The service was great. I feel the hotel is older. This is fine but I do feel the hotel needs some updates. Our room was comfortable and enough space but the bathroom needed some work. And I feel the bathroom could have been cleaner. Over all stay was fine.

This property is very dated. The rooms have a horrible smell likely secondary to the old carpet. The sink was clogged. The shower and toilet were dirty. The bed was extremely uncomfortable as were the pillows. Tv does not have Netflix connectivity. You have to specifically ask to have your room cleaned. I asked for service at 8am and was told that they will only replace my towels and soap. Beds will not be made and the room will not be cleaned. The breakfast was cold and took over 1 hour to deliver. The order was completely wrong. Eggs Benedict came with no eggs and no sauce. Everything was cold. Very strange. I had a horrible experience and will nene stay at this property again.

I have stayed at this property now five times and each time we had a good stay. However, this stay, I found that the hotel was lacking in cleanliness and basic amenities. The price that I paid for this day was extremely high. our room did not come with complementary water bottles. The shower had mold and dirt growing in the cracks the one elevators doors on the interior word, disgustingly dirty the lobby should be able to offer complementary water upon arriving or whenever there is no breakfast offered with the fee that I paid per night, every time the air conditioning clicked on in the room. It made a loud noise starting us awake I’m not sure if I will be staying at this property again.

Both sets of queen sheets were stained and gross. The tub had residue in it. There were many hairs from the previous guest in the sink and on the counter. It looked Like it hadn’t been cleaned in the turn over. The front desk and maintenance were very friendly

There was a straw wrapper on the hall floor that remained for the entire stay. The wall in our room was swollen with water and both the sink and bath drained very slowly. Many menu items were unavailable. Overall a property in decline (we had been there before and it was much better).

We like to stay at this hotel because it it near UF. The rooms are a nice size. The staff are friendly and professional. This time we were a little disappointed in the cleanliness of our room. At some point prior to us checking in someone must have killed a roach on the cornice board and it was just left there to be looked at. The silver tray in the bathroom was dirty with hairs. The shower head dripped. The shower curtain was too short and did not close completely. I always bring my own shower products but for this trip I figured I would use the ones provided. However, once I was already in the shower and went to use the shower gel it was empty. More attention needs to be paid for the rooms to be cleaned.

Our room bathroom was dirty. There was hair all over the shower/tub, in 4 areas, the shower head piece hooked to the was broken, the toilet paper holder was dirty. The tissue paper was stuffed into the box, as if it had been previously pulled out then placed back. There was a lot of dust on the lamp. The carpets had big stains. I spoke to the Manager and reported all this. So it was a cleanliness issue. Otherwise the property was fine, the staff was helpful, and it was close to the Highway and UF.

Great location, easy to get around. Main issue was that outlets in room either did not work or were very loose, creating potential danger with arcing. Was unable to charge phones. Air conditioner unit was noisy even when placed in off position, required ear plugs to sleep.

The lobby of the hotel is very pretty and upscale; however the rooms leave something to be desired. They are old and outdated. The air conditioning did not work in my first room and struggled to cool the new room after we switched. The staff was very accommodating regarding the switching of the room but the new room really didn’t get cool until the next morning. It shouldn’t take that long in a small hotel room.

Rooms are dark, only one light switch and that is by the door and that only lights up the door. All the rest are lamps that you have to feel up for the switch. No clock. No microwave. No table or shelf if you are on the wall side of the bed so phone, water, remotes, etc: on the floor. Garbage cans can barely fit a coffee cup. Bathroom door must be closed to wash hands. Dogs barking up and down the halls. Parking lot full at night. Servers at breakfast made us feel like an inconvenience.

The room was requested to be cleaned at check-in and ne it was not cleaned. When we returned at 6 pm on Friday we entered the room to see it was never cleaned there was a cleaning lady still in the hall cleaning another room and we requested at least clean towels and that she remove the dirty towel which she did.

When checking in for a multi-day stay, they notified me that they do not service the rooms daily unless requested. I told them then that it was important to me that the room is cleaned and they said no problem, they would take care of it. The next day after a being away for 12hrs, the room had not been cleaned by 6pm. When requested, I was told that I would have had to requested it, which I had. They then partially refreshed the room and rehung dirty towels from the floor. I definitely would not recommend.

Very disappointed with this stay. When I booked online i specifically asked for 2 rooms with one room with 2 queen beds and we were given rooms with only one bed. A roll away was unexceptable as the point of booking online is to get what you book for due to the people in your party that are traveling with you. No other rooms were available to move to.

I checked out yesterday May 3rd around 10am from room 219. After 3-4 hours we realized that we left my husband's blue Blazer, a blue button down shirt and toiletries bag. It amazes me how poorly the hotel has responded to this issue. No one has been able to answer us about the items. We called housekeeping non stop no one answers the phone and the mailbox is full so we con not leave a message The only ones that have been trying to help are the front desk people but not even them have been able to figure out how to get in contact with housekeeping Again it was just hours when we realized that we left the items in the room but more than 24hrs passed since we have tried to reach out to the hotel with not resolution this is just unacceptable that no one has been able to respond to us and the more time passes probably harder to find our belongings.

Our stay at Hilton was average. The location was great and very close to the UF campus. The service was great. I feel the hotel is older. This is fine but I do feel the hotel needs some updates. Our room was comfortable and enough space but the bathroom needed some work. And I feel the bathroom could have been cleaner. Over all stay was fine.

I was in town for a baseball game at Condron Ballpark and was glad to see that the Hilton is an easy walk to the stadium. Easy to find, easy check-in, friendly staff, easy parking, quiet and comfortable room, and a terrific No Name Lounge for drinks and light fare. My second time staying here and I'd recommend it without question.

This hotel is a bit dated, but it was convenient and comfortable. It's a traditional Hilton (nothing is included), but the beds are comfy, the room was fairly big, and the hotel has amenities (gym, etc.). Parking is also free.

This property is very dated. The rooms have a horrible smell likely secondary to the old carpet. The sink was clogged. The shower and toilet were dirty. The bed was extremely uncomfortable as were the pillows. Tv does not have Netflix connectivity. You have to specifically ask to have your room cleaned. I asked for service at 8am and was told that they will only replace my towels and soap. Beds will not be made and the room will not be cleaned. The breakfast was cold and took over 1 hour to deliver. The order was completely wrong. Eggs Benedict came with no eggs and no sauce. Everything was cold. Very strange. I had a horrible experience and will nene stay at this property again.

We chose this property because of it's proximity to my son's college apartment and the Shula's Steakhouse, which we very much enjoyed! The property isn't in a busy, congested area and has plenty of convenient, safe parking. The facility itself is very nice and the rooms are large enough and comfortable. It looks like the carpeting in the rooms could be replaced as ours was stained, but the bed was comfortable. There is no free breakfast but there is a full service breakfast and a "to-go" coffee shop, not Starbucks, but the coffee was very good. The hotel staff was top notch, very friendly person at check-in. Overall, very good experience.

Showed up at 3 , room wasn’t ready. Sat in lobby for 2 hours , many others in same predicament. Finally I went up and asked if there was an eta. Magically it was ready then. (Others in the lobby scowled at me as I got my keys) we got settled in the room and quickly had to get ready for our engagement at 5. Asked the front desk then for extra blankets. When we got back to the room about 9 pm no extra blankets were provided. Tried to call front desk, no answer. Tried to call housekeeping. No answer. Went back down to front desk and asked for blankets again. An hour later they showed up. Ok. Next day, called housekeeping at 10am to request extra towels. Was assured they would be delivered to room. When we got back at 10 that night no towels had been delivered. Had to flag a housekeeper down who happened to be in the hall to get some. Don’t expect anything extra from Hilton Gainesville. Or for your room to be ready on time .The biggest joke is we were spending $700 a night because they upcharge on weekends for special events at UF. Should have stayed literally anywhere else.
