Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington, D.C. Downtown

Awesome property, I may return. The only issue was around 10pm the smoke alarm in my room started going off!!! The front desk called to check and I told them what was going on. She said she was sending someone up, but no one ever came. It eventually went off on its own.

The gentleman who helped me with check in was very friendly and polite. The lady who checked me out not so much. The room was alright. The two plugs in the bathroom didn’t work. There are only plugs on one side of the bed and no wall outlets in the bedroom. The toilet runs constantly which is annoying and the a/c fan is loud as well. My room was alright just didn’t like that I was put back in a corner. Also, I left for a bit and when I came back then there was bowel movement or something on the toliet. It wasn’t there when I left which is very weird. Don’t know if I would stay here again and this hotel was actually chosen my someone else who said it was in a prime location. They had a wide variety of breakfast items.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Homewood Suites. The room was well appointed, we had a separate seating area, plenty of space, a full fridge, clean and well kept. Having breakfast available was very helpful as we were there for work. It was a typical hotel breakfast but the area was kept clean and the person working the breakfast on top of everything. This hotel is conveniently located near a lot of nice restaurants and in a safe area.

1. we had to change rooms. The first room needs up grading. The staff was accommodating. Breakfast needs more than one person overlooking the amount of guests and making sure breakfast is restock such as coffee. I did not use the laundry.
