This turned out to be everything we wanted for our visit to Chicago. Good communication with the hosts beforehand made our arrival smooth. On-street parking was not an issue. The apartment had everything we needed, particularly in-building laundry facilities, as we were on a long road trip. We were close to everything — lots of restaurants within a five-minute walk, less than 10 minutes to the L train. We even had an enjoyable 30-minute walk to Wrigley Field. Would absolutely return, highly recommended.

Kim’s place is in a quiet neighborhood, just a couple blocks from the Roscoe Village shops and restaurants. It was also an easy 20 minute walk from shops and restaurants in the Southport area and a 30 minute walk from Wrigley Field. We had no problems parking on the street throughout our stay. If you enjoy Cubs games and a variety of restaurants and shops, all within walking distance…then this is the place for you!
Kim’s place is in a quiet neighborhood, just a couple blocks from the Roscoe Village shops and restaurants. It was also an easy 20 minute walk from shops and restaurants in the Southport area and a 30 minute walk from Wrigley Field. We had no problems parking on the street throughout our stay. The property was more than we could have imagined. It was absolutely excellent, like an apartment away from home. The owners were readily and easily available to answer questions. Having free laundry was definitely a plus! When we’re in the area again, I will definitely want to stay here again!

The place was perfect. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of space. We didn't use the back bedroom but there is plenty of place for 2 couples to stay, kitchen is large as is the living room with plenty of seating. The host Kim was very responsive to the few questions we had prior. Food shopping is close enough, several pubs/restaurants within 2 blocks. EZ public transportation from O'Hare and I bet Midway as well. This is a very likely repeat visit .

Great apartment with top of the line appliances, super clean, bright and well furnished. The host goes above and beyond with things like coffee beans, condiments, tooth brushes, tooth paste and lotions etc. The host was available via text whenever I had questions or issues.The location is great with so many restaurants and shops within walking distance. I would stay here again any time!

This third-floor flat was perfect for our family of three! On-street parking was plentiful on a one-way street. One of my biggest apprehensions when booking a third-floor dwelling in the summer was the idea of temperature and it being hot ~ this couldn’t have been farther from the truth! It was extremely comfortable and pleasing to my husband who prefers to be cool. Communication was proactive and the owners made themselves available by text, although never needed a thing. The bathroom was well-stocked, nice kitchen, and will definitely consider staying here again when we come back to Chicago!

Fantastic location and an outstanding host! I had an amazing stay. The space was ideal for my needs, offering a comfortable and convenient setting to assist my daughter with her wedding preparations. It had everything I was looking for—well-equipped with great amenities and in a prime location. The property was spotless, peaceful, and provided everything needed for a smooth and enjoyable experience. Easy street parking was always available! We came for an event at Wrigley Field. Plenty of free parking near the apartment. We were able to grab a quick dinner 2 blocks away and walk to the stadium in about 30 minutes. Much easier than driving. The rest of the weekend we spent in nearby neighborhoods and the Loop. Easy to get around with several nearby bus lines and the L a few minutes away. The apartment was great for us, two people. Nice living room with good TV service, well-appointed kitchen for making breakfast or dinner. Comfortable bed. Good flow from the shower head, spacious shower. All the finishes are nice, and the AC was able to keep up with 100 degree heat outside when we arrived. Very nice walkable neighborhood with numerous restaurants. It is on the third floor, so two flights of stairs, but that’s about the only negative. It wouldn’t stop us from coming back in the future.

The Roscoe Village Inn is a fantastic place to stay - the property was spotless, well equipped, and easily accessed. We loved the central kitchen/dining area, relaxing living room, and proximity to major attractions. We highly recommend it and plan to stay at the property again during our next visit.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely 3rd floor unit for a long bday weekend. It was spacious and clean. When we come home we try to stay in different parts of the Chi. Roscoe Village was a great location. Walking distance to lots of cool spots. Kim was great to communicate with. Will def stay here again for our next visit!

Stayed in this lovely property for a few days whilst visiting the city. We couldn’t have picked a better base. Spacious rooms all of which were beautifully clean, towels etc were also provided. Check in was easy and the information supplied by Kim the host was accurate and helpful. We were also contacted after arriving to check everything was ok. The area is lovely and quiet and within easy reach of busses and trains to get Downtown, and there are lots of local eateries/taverns etc in Roscoe Village and nearby Wriggleyville. 5 Stars all the way…thank you!

The place was wonderful. Very clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. The location is great. The stairs to the apartment were tough for us to manage, and it took us a while to learn how to use the locks and the coffee pot, but they worked perfectly once we understood them. Overall, we were very satisfied.

We loved this 3rd floor apartment. The owner lives on the 1st floor and was very helpful. The apartment was clean. The shower had hot water and water pressure was excellent. The beds were comfortable.

Roscoe Village is a wonderful, safe, family oriented neighborhood with restaurants, bars, and shops a block away. CTA bus and rail stops are within 2 blocks. The residence is on the 3rd floor, but extremely clean, comfortable and well appointed. Would stay here again.

The rental was in perfect condition and worked well for my granddaughter and I for the weekend. The owner Kim lives in the lower level of the house and greeted us when we arrived. She was super helpful. This rental is a great location close to the brown line train to get into downtown Chicago. Roscoe Village is super short walk for dinner and shopping. The only negative thing I can say was the rental is on the third story so it was a hike up the flights of stairs.

The flat is really very nice - clean, attractive, comfortable & spacious. The neighborhood is quiet, and the El train is not far away, which brought us to the Loop area in less than an hour. There isn't much in the way of a proper grocery store within walking distance, but if you have a car, that isn't a big problem, and finding street parking was no problem. The check-in was uncomplicated and straightforward. Everything was very pleasant, except the weather while we were there - and frankly there is nothing any host can do about that. It is Chicago, after all. The heating worked just fine, though. If I find myself in need of a 2-bedroom flat in Chicago again, this would be my first choice.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely 3rd floor unit for a long bday weekend. It was spacious and clean. When we come home we try to stay in different parts of the Chi. Roscoe Village was a great location. Walking distance to lots of cool spots. Kim was great to communicate with. Will def stay here again for our next visit!

Nice efficient lovely place with everything you need. Kim is a great communicator. I had difficulty getting in the door and she responded quickly and got us in.

Stayed in this lovely property for a few days whilst visiting the city. We couldn’t have picked a better base. Spacious rooms all of which were beautifully clean, towels etc were also provided. Check in was easy and the information supplied by Kim the host was accurate and helpful. We were also contacted after arriving to check everything was ok. The area is lovely and quiet and within easy reach of busses and trains to get Downtown, and there are lots of local eateries/taverns etc in Roscoe Village and nearby Wriggleyville. 5 Stars all the way…thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay. Clean and updated bath and kitchen. The host / property manager was great to work with. Communication was excellent. Great location for the activities we had planned.

This unit was perfect for us! Adorable, clean and cozy! Had all of the amenities we needed included and an amazing location! Kim was VERY quick to respond when I reached out to her and very helpful and pleasant! We will definitely be back! Thank you!!!!

The place was perfect. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of space. We didn't use the back bedroom but there is plenty of place for 2 couples to stay, kitchen is large as is the living room with plenty of seating. The host Kim was very responsive to the few questions we had prior. Food shopping is close enough, several pubs/restaurants within 2 blocks. EZ public transportation from O'Hare and I bet Midway as well. This is a very likely repeat visit .
The place was perfect. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of space. We didn't use the back bedroom but there is plenty of place for 2 couples to stay, kitchen is large as is the living room with plenty of seating. Great apartment with top of the line appliances, super clean, bright and well furnished. The host goes above and beyond with things like coffee beans, condiments, tooth brushes, tooth paste and lotions etc. The host was available via text whenever I had questions or issues.The location is great with so many restaurants and shops within walking distance. I would stay here again any time!

This third-floor flat was perfect for our family of three! On-street parking was plentiful on a one-way street. One of my biggest apprehensions when booking a third-floor dwelling in the summer was the idea of temperature and it being hot ~ this couldn’t have been farther from the truth! It was extremely comfortable and pleasing to my husband who prefers to be cool. Communication was proactive and the owners made themselves available by text, although never needed a thing. The bathroom was well-stocked, nice kitchen, and will definitely consider staying here again when we come back to Chicago!

We stayed in this rental to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was very clean and had everything you needed for the long weekend. We figured out the train system which was just a few blocks from the rental. We used the trains all the time and saved a ton of money on Ubers. The rental is in a very cute neighborhood with lots of bars and nice restaurants. The neighborhood is very nice and we felt safe walking around. I would recommend this rental if you are looking for a quiet place outside of the main downtown area.

Kim’s place is in a quiet neighborhood, just a couple blocks from the Roscoe Village shops and restaurants. It was also an easy 20 minute walk from shops and restaurants in the Southport area and a 30 minute walk from Wrigley Field. We had no problems parking on the street throughout our stay. If you enjoy Cubs games and a variety of restaurants and shops, all within walking distance…then this is the place for you!
Kim’s place is in a quiet neighborhood, just a couple blocks from the Roscoe Village shops and restaurants. It was also an easy 20 minute walk from shops and restaurants in the Southport area and a 30 minute walk from Wrigley Field. We had no problems parking on the street throughout our stay. We stayed here for a long weekend in Chicago with our two teenage daughters. The place was perfect for our get-away. An easy walk to restaurants, boutiques and coffee shops. Easy to get to the Brown line, wrigley, and the shops on Southport. would highly recommend.

We had a great time at Roscoe Village Inn. The location is perfect if you’re going to Wrigley. The unit is well equipped, clean, and comfortable and check in is super easy. Lots of cool restaurants and taverns nearby and everything you need is within walking distance.

The location is close to the bus, and then easy to the Metro. It was about a 40ish min travel to the Art Institute when we were there. Roscoe Village is picturesque. There is a Starbucks at the end of the street if you want your pumpkin spice latte, but they've also got plenty of local talent- the owner of Rudy's Bakery (try the butter cookies YUM!!)-was lovely. There were plenty of other places--we just didn't have time! We arrived on Halloween; the entire neighborhood came out on their front porches with candy for the kids, the street was full of people socializing. We met our hostess, Kim, so gracious and helpful. Alas, the weekend was gone in an instant. Loved our visit to Chicago--can't wait to return!

We came for an event at Wrigley Field. Plenty of free parking near the apartment. We were able to grab a quick dinner 2 blocks away and walk to the stadium in about 30 minutes. Much easier than driving. The rest of the weekend we spent in nearby neighborhoods and the Loop. Easy to get around with several nearby bus lines and the L a few minutes away. The apartment was great for us, two people. Nice living room with good TV service, well-appointed kitchen for making breakfast or dinner. Comfortable bed. Good flow from the shower head, spacious shower. All the finishes are nice, and the AC was able to keep up with 100 degree heat outside when we arrived. Very nice walkable neighborhood with numerous restaurants. It is on the third floor, so two flights of stairs, but that’s about the only negative. It wouldn’t stop us from coming back in the future.

I agree with other reviewers comments. Kim is a 5 star host, pleasant to deal with, and the apartment is spotless. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances. We took the CTA from the airport so we didn’t need street parking, however, it is plentiful. This apartment is in a lovely walkable neighborhood and we used Chicago’s fabulous transit system to go to Wrigley Field and downtown to the Chicago Architectural Center where we took amazing architectural tours. One was a boat tour of the river, explaining the river’s history and the second tour was Chicago’s iconic buildings and Parks. I highly recommend becoming a member of CAC as the tours are free, or deeply discounted for members.I was in heaven because the apartment is within walking distance of Trader Joe’s. There’s a lovely Roscoe Village Central Street two blocks away with great dining and a really nice Starbucks. There was also a neighborhood coffee shop that looked quite popular that is right on the bus route. From O’Hare airport we took the Blue train to the Addison bus line and took the Addison bus to Addison and Hoyne. The apartment is a short 4 block from the bus stop. We also took the bus to Wrigley Field and downtown to Chicago Architectural Center and the Chicago Institute of Art. The buses run frequently and safe. We bought a seven day easy to use transit pass and saved on Uber and Lyft fees. I would definitely love to come back!
