This place is straight out of 1985. Tom Bodett would roll over in his grave. Wait, hold the phones he is still alive according to a quick google search. You are welcomed with a parking lot full of homeless people. I made my way to the front desk that had partioned glass (there's a clue) and the guy manning the desk with a much unenthusiastic attitude checked me in (sorry to bother man). Made my way up the worn out concrete stairs with surface rust (looked like modern day Chernoble). Into the room I go. The room was better than the outside. Looked clean but very cheap and outdated. Curtain from 1975. Old phone from the 80's on how to dial 9 before making a call and needing a credit card to make a long distance call. Took a shower and hot water was not a problem. So hot if you turn it to past a quarter turn it is almost boiling hot. No shampoo in the bathroom and towels that you could use to sand walls. I checked under and around the matress and no bedbugs. So that's great. Their was a stain on the sheet. No ironing board (not that I needed one) and no lamp with USB plugs (looks like Dusty Slay was already here). Had to run to Walmart to get a charging block. Just figured all hotels by now had lamps with chargers. So anyway it was clean enough and that's what is most important. Went to bed only to find out that the homeless out in the lot make a lot noise hollering half the night. Also, not much sound insulation because I could hear loud road noise all night. Stay elsewhere!

The sheets were dirty and the staff seemed to hate their jobs. I had to return the sheets with someone else hair to the lobby to get clean one's. He refused to have someone drop some off to our room. As though clean sheets are my responsibility to acquire. The location is sketchy but there is 2 convenient stores nearby. Dont use the laundry soap dispenser unless you want to scrounge up quarters to just give away. The front desk cant help with that either. The toilet was backed up for our whole stay along with an AC that left much to be desired. Try the hotel next door, maybe they wash the sheets.

1. Only one outlet in room for charging phones. 2. No fridge, coffeemaker, microwave in room. (Coffee in reception area, during restricted hours, is watered down.) Staff said because we booked basic room. Consistent with $88 we paid. But for $20 more, we could have obtained hotel with those amenities. Will not book Motel 6 again unless heavily discounted. 3. Initially couldn’t connect to free WiFi. When connected, it was too slow to use. We ended up using data. Staffer refused to acknowledge the problem, saying it must be our phones. She showed she could connect on her phone. However, she steadfastly refused to do an internet speed test on her phone, which would have proven the slow connection. When I was able finally to connect, I got 0.2 Mbps download speed. 4. Very slow flow in bathroom sink. Had to ask reception to fill up 2 water bottles. Maintenance fixed it the next morning; he indicated he was unavailable in the evenings when we checked in. 5. Neighborhood is very iffy. Residents show ravages of hard life. Many discount hotels in Denver area are similar. I have not experienced crime in those hotels, but there is generally anxiety about safety of parked car and self. 6. Loud music from car woke me up at 11 pm. Asked front desk to do something about it; she was too busy. I asked car to turn down. They did.
