Guy at the front desk was nice. Place needs renovated and lots of ghetto stuff going on in the parking lot

We loved our week stay at Vista Inn, clean rooms & comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Refrigerator, microwave & a couch. Location was great. Good night manager, very accommodating and friendly. I would suggest a change of towels every other day if not done daily..parking was great. Would definitely return for the holidays.

Everything in the hotel was a little bit dirty, it looked like the toilet needed cleaning, the shower had a leak, sink didn't drain completely, there were not enough towels provided, sheets had stains, but were recently cleaned, the bed didn't have a fitted sheet only the top sheet on top of the comforter and there was no trash can provided in the room which was wildly inconvenient as they provide soap and shampoo packets that need to be thrown out after opened. The mini fridge was very powerful, my drinks stayed nice and cold, it did freeze my fruit, but I just needed to put them on a lower shelf. Wifi was strong and consistent, no random outages. Lots of parking available. Close to Vista town square, full of nice hospitable people and great restaurants. This place was definitely affordable, but cost more than what was provided.

Many shady people, did not spend the night,drove home instead

Not very mindful of the fact that people want to leave their car and take an Uber. This was before I officially checked in. He did not want me to leave my vehicle at first.

There was a drifter harassing people in the parking lot. Then he kept following people back and forth. Running around the place. Unsettling. He saw me and got spooked cuz I saw a girl he was trying to get in her car. So I went to pretend I was her boyfriend. He left her alone. Room was decent. Bathroom was dirty. Mainly the sink and under toilet lid. Ladies have pepper spray or don’t go alone.

nothing good, nasty dirty property and room not clean. hair everywhere. food spills. curtains hagging off the rod. sticky dirty floor. graffitti scrathed into all furniture. door wont close. strangers knocking on door at all hours.

Horrible customer service. Roaches all over and too cheap to fix anything. At this price everything should look emaculant, on the contrary. Don't waste your time at this dump, anywhere else would be much better

This place is no shabby chic! Vista Inn Motel was shabby and dirty. The bathtub was not cleaned. There was obvious soap scum on on it. The handle that turns the bathtub shower was about to fall apart, too.There is fungus, at least to me, on corner of the wall near the bathroom door, The couch had visible dark black stains on the arm rests. There was a fungal growth in the refrigerator shelf, too. No phone made available in the room to call front desk. Since they didn’t provide a phone, the property should have left a writen phone number somewhere in the room to call for assistance. I wanted to complain about the bed cover. The bed cover had two dark stains, which thankfully the rest of the beddings did not have. Since I came late and tired I just ignored and did not use top cover. Even if the property is on the older side, they could make it up by being clean.

The hotel was very dirty the bed sheets had cigarette burns the floor looks like it wasn’t mopped in a while there was peeling paint and mold in the restroom the door knob from the restroom was falling off the towel were stained and the baseboard had mold in certain spots if it wasn’t for the office being closed and no one there I would of went somewhere else but it was 1 in the morning when I got there

Do not book here. No maintenance is being done. We did not have a trash can or a toilet roll spindle. There was black staining (perhaps mold?) on the lampshade (it had been unplugged and we had to move the mattress to get to the outlet). Dirt and hair on the blanket; we did not feel safe to sleep in the bed and covered our pillows w tshirts. Tears in the liner for the curtains, which were also difficult to close. Dirt on the wall of the bathroom. Facility had trash bags outside of rooms for all 3 days we were present.

It was extremely dirty, moldy and I felt gross even walking in the room. I’m a avid traveler and have been to many countries and this by far is one of the worst places I’ve been to.

The place is very run down. They need new bedding. There was holes and stains on my bedsheets.

Upon arriving the hotel, staff charged my credit card incorrectly, causing me to call and get my credit card unblocked. The remote control in the bedroom and TV did not work. There was standing water in our room that we had a cleanup. The sheets on the bed were missing. There were questionable people hanging out in the parking lot, felt unsafe. Would not recommend this location for future stay

Thisotel still has single pane windows facing the 78 Freeway Really noisy?

The bed was good. The remodeling was not finished. The furniture was worn down. There was no where to hang our clothes for a week! We had to request new towels three times in one day and finally get them ourselves.

I expected more for the modest price. I just wanted a place to flop for a couple days. Drapes barely hanging, smoke detector missing, no frig first day, broken lamp stored in corner, stained towels, leaky toilet, cigarette burn in pillow case, and room was across the street from the 78 freeway. Service was meh. Never doing this again.

Room was missing refrigerator microwave toilet paper roll holder light bulbs in the lamps no remote for the tv no cable hooked up to TV no like it mattered bcuz the TV didn't work either... Lots of construction noise in the other rooms and the air conditioner had like only 1 setting

the room was terrible. i’m not one to nit pick hotel rooms often. but this one was definitely terrible. please save your money and get a different hotel !! the window was broken and didn’t even seem like they tried to fix it. the smoke detector was ripped out of the ceiling and so were the two light fixtures. so we had 3 HOLES in the ceiling. the shower head was broken and the water sprayed literally all over the bathroom. the tub had a crack in it so it was flooding the bathroom. there was paint all over the tv and the mini fridge. paint was in the holes to the outlets so we couldn’t use them. the bedding they had on the bed also had holes and rips in them all over. there was a huge spider problem in the room. the ac was blowing out a nasty smell, as if there was a dead animal inside of it. the peep hole in the door wasn’t in there, it was literally a big hole drilled through the door, someone could easily just look in at you. the door didn’t shut completely so any slight breeze, or when you shut the bathroom door, the front door opened, even when it was locked it still opened quite a bit. the employees were very rude and disrespectful. if i could rate this 0 stars i would.

Let me count the ways of disappointment: TV was not working so we had to switch room. The new room smelled of musty: curtains, couch and bedding. Shower-curtain had mole. No towels hand towels provided. Some random many walking the halls tried to follow me into my room. I didn't feel safe. Staff did have housekeeping clean room but forgot towels and new shower-curtain. Room still smelled. Because room curtains smelled musty. Staff said to ask if needed to leave the room to call them for escort. Staff were nice.

The TV would only allow 1 station, notified staff but gave an fix so;ution which I tried and it still did not work. No trash can in the room. Toilet kept running. I had to move the valve float to shut off the continuous running of water.

When I arrived to check in, no one was at the front desk and I had to wait for them to get off lunch, at midnight. They gave us a room that reeked of cigarettes. Asked for a new one, they moved us. The next morning my friend showered and they bath tub leaked all over the floor and then the office guy came up telling us to pack our stuff they’re moving us rooms, because the water is leaking into their office. I said okay well where are we moving to? They said they’ll let us know in two hours. I had to go shower at the EOS gym. We didn’t get our new room in two hours. We left for the morning to the farmers market came back 3ish hours later and had to ask them about the new room. They give me a new one, I go and check it for the smell. Again reeks of cigarettes. My friend is pregnant and her baby is under 1 years old. We don’t want to smell disgusting. I went and told them again it smells like cigarettes. The guy went with me to get a new room and he opened one, smelled waaay worse and much stronger cigarette smells. Horrible. I said no not this one. They open the other one, 4 rooms later we finally have our room on day 2 of being here. Shower curtains are fabric so they get the floors wet. It should be plastic. Hate it. Extremely humid in all the rooms. TVs don’t work or missing remotes. Two shower towels. One wash rag. One drying towel. Not nearly enough. They leave a half empty toilet paper on the roll and then have a new one for you. Don’t stay here no matter how cheap.

Check in sucked. Claimed they did not have my reservations even after I showed them the printed out confirmation. Since they have no inside check in, done through a window, I had to wait outside in drizzling rain for the slowest check in imaginable. Slow-Slow-Slow!!! I put my luggage on a desk in the room. Desk fell apart, because it was never properly secured. Brought the front desk clerk back to my room to show him. We had to jerry rig a fix. He did not pass on the information to the next clerk. So I had to take that clerk back to room and show him. I will say the clerks were pleasant enough, but seemed young and inexperienced. Also forget the wifi. Worked on my phone, but to slow to stream anything on iPad.

I reserved a room for 4 (3kids & I) with 2 beds and we walked in room and walked right out and brought it up immediately to see if I could get a 2 bed room and an extra day at same price..which I was immediately given a new key as I walked in office which was awesome and we where put in the nicest room so far that I've seen and I was asked to please keep it clean which I did and made sure for having great service right away..it may needed a lil sweeping and some floor mopping which I bring cleaners when possible so I did my cleaning as we should in any motel..I've been here many times and this was one of the greatest service ever been.

Everyone that worked there was extremely helpful and nice. The manager, The maintenance man, as well as the housekeeper. They went out of their way to help me. I was alone with my two young children, and they all made me feel safe. I had a really bad experience at another hotel the night before. That was really scary. I just really appreciated having the exact opposite experience at this hotel. I will definitely stay there again.

Look at the images they show of the rooms and then look at what you get. This is the biggest case of fraud and Hotels.com should remove their listing. I could not get a refund because it was a third-party rental. I slept on a blanket from my car as I did not want to sleep in the bed. Also talking to the young man running the hotel (very Nice) told me they get government aid for housing people for 30 days so their customers were questionable at best. I had to call management at 12:30 in the morning due to outside activity outside my room.

It was like full of homeless people very noisy. Very inconsiderate manager. Did nothing about the noise at 2:00 in the morning I would not recommend this place to anybody

worst place to stay photos shows evrything clean but when you get there is horrible, it smells smoke everywhere, homeless on the back. I do not recomend this place.

This whole property is sketchy in a very run-down area.
