This property has been beautifully renovated and was spotlessly clean. The EV charger is a BIG plus! The house is near to everything we wanted to experience. If there is a downside it is the local traffic noise - which is significant 24/7... but nothing the owner can control. Bring your own measuring cups if you plan to cook/bake, because there are spoons, but no dry cups. The wifi also went in an out so we had to use our hotspots a few times as well. We'd definitely stay again next time we're in Chico.

Charming, recently updated home that was comfortable for me and my father. When I arrived the home was clean, stocked with the amenities I needed in the kitchen (including complimentary coffee) and even laundry supplies. The home had an EV charger which was great because our rental was an EV for our trip. The property owner walked me through how to turn the charger on and was very responsive. My only complaint, which is minor, is that the bedroom I stayed in did not have a ceiling fan, which I prefer when I sleep. That said, the home was a comfortable temperature and I slept just fine. I would stay here again when visiting.

Very spacious and comfortable little craftsman bungalow updated and remodeled nicely. We had plenty of room with all necessary amenities. Having an ev the car charger was very convenient. The porch is wonderful for cool mornings and evenings - the only suggestion there would be a screen door. Host was very communicative and friendly. Highly recommend and we shall return again.

The rental is recently remodeled and has a modern open floor plan. It is close to downtown, Sierra Nevada Brewery and Lower Bidwell park. The backyard’s low back fence gives you a view of the Little Chico Creek.

The house was extremely clean and well appointed. It was an oasis in a very hot and tiring trip moving my daughter into her rental house on her college journey. I could not have been more pleased with the accommodations.

Property was nice and clean with everything you would need in a quiet neighborhood. Beds were comfortable, but I believe they were actually full size beds - not a true queen size bed. Other than that it was a great stay!

Loved this little house! The beds were comfortable the bathrooms were clean and updated and the kitchen has everything you need to make a meal. I was really happy that there was coffee, cream and sugar provided. When you get in late and aren’t able to get to the store it’s wonderful to be able to have that cup of coffee first thing in the morning.

The house was clear, had all the amenities, and only a 4 minute drive to downtown Chico. Very spacey to have family to come over for a few hours. Supplies for cooking, showing, and cleaning were provided.

My entire family had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for young kids. Nothing that they could get into and break and the space was open for them to play comfortably. The location was perfect for our daily bike ride through Bidwell and downtown. Would definitely stay here again!

The only immediately relevant issue is the back door. It only locks the outside knob, which means if you have not checked the lock before going outside, you may have locked yourself out of the house. (happened twice). Otherwise, house is fine, and well stocked. The house is in an older neighborhood with all the pluses and minuses that that entails. There is a large park at the very end of the street, (some distance away) which I ran thru but there did seem to be some homeless folks in that area. The host is attentive and helpful and responds quickly. We had an enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed our stay in Chico. The property is located in a perfect location for exploring the area. The home is very organized and has everything you might need to feel like home. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the mornings and evenings. The owner is very communicative and helpful. Thank you!

This property has been beautifully renovated and was spotlessly clean. The EV charger is a BIG plus! The house is near to everything we wanted to experience. If there is a downside it is the local traffic noise - which is significant 24/7... but nothing the owner can control. Bring your own measuring cups if you plan to cook/bake, because there are spoons, but no dry cups. The wifi also went in an out so we had to use our hotspots a few times as well. We'd definitely stay again next time we're in Chico.

Charming, recently updated home that was comfortable for me and my father. When I arrived the home was clean, stocked with the amenities I needed in the kitchen (including complimentary coffee) and even laundry supplies. The home had an EV charger which was great because our rental was an EV for our trip. The property owner walked me through how to turn the charger on and was very responsive. My only complaint, which is minor, is that the bedroom I stayed in did not have a ceiling fan, which I prefer when I sleep. That said, the home was a comfortable temperature and I slept just fine. I would stay here again when visiting.

Loved this little house! The beds were comfortable the bathrooms were clean and updated and the kitchen has everything you need to make a meal. I was really happy that there was coffee, cream and sugar provided. When you get in late and aren’t able to get to the store it’s wonderful to be able to have that cup of coffee first thing in the morning.

Rogers was a great host who communicated well. The property was very nice and close to the things we were interested in.It was well stocked with coffee, towels and kitchen ware too. Very comfortable!

Fine spot. Great local coffee house close by - Has Beans. Met interesting local folks there with lots of history of the area. Close to city center - walkable. Close to Bidwell - also walkable.

The house was clear, had all the amenities, and only a 4 minute drive to downtown Chico. Very spacey to have family to come over for a few hours. Supplies for cooking, showing, and cleaning were provided.

A wonderful house for a visit to Chico. Walking distance from Cafe Code and Helen's Donut Nook is a huge perk, and it seemed like a quiet part of town while we were there.

This is a very clean, remodeled older home. It's been kept up beautifully, the remodel was thorough, adding in a lot of modern amenities and increasing the livability. We enjoyed our stay with our dogs although the fence in the back yard needs to be replaced (the dogs were still secure though).

Very comfortable bedding, pillows, and cozy throws on each bed.A needed improvement is the barn door on the main area bathroom. It should be replaced to provide full privacy and a lock. While aesthetically nice, it’s out of sync with the exceptional quality of everything else. Also, living room area needs better / additional lighting for evening. It’s too dark. Since it’s been mentioned in other reviews, Chico has an overall issue with a homeless population, and there was a small encampment nearby. Adorable home. Interior is extremely clean. Interior appears as shown. My dog seemed to enjoy the visit. I would be remiss if I did not comment on the exterior of the home. Unfortunately, exterior of home gas been somewhat ignored. The front railing is covered with dust as well as the chairs and table on porch. I understand that it is winter, but it's been quite a while since these areas have been cleaned. Additionally, the backyard barbeque was recommended for use. As it was 72 degrees outside, it would have been a great experience. However, I wouldn't use it for anything. That's the reason for rating 4 stars rather than 5.
