Great property and fairly new, I believe less than 2 years or so. The suite was amazing, 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, spacious living room as well. The beach behind the property is not really one to lounge and swim in. We had to drive about 15 mins or so to get the beach experience. Only one restaurant on site, luckily the food was great lol. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Only downside is that you have to drive everywhere since the resort is secluded and away from the “tourist area”. Still would recommend and will stay here again.

Fantastic stay. Room clean, bed comfortable. food at the restaurant was amazing and highly recommended. Staff were lovely and engaging. Pool towels provided on the sunbeds around the pool or towels available at reception to take to the beach. Car or taxis required but this was no issue for us. Highly recommend this hotel

Beautiful new hotel with gorgeous gardens and pool, friendly and helpful staff, great restaurant and bar. We saw turtles at the nearby beach but it was very wavy.

We had an oceanview room which was on the 3rd floor with no elevator which I didn’t expect. An employee helped us by taking our luggage upstairs. The room was spacious with a sitting room and bedroom but only the bedroom was air conditioned. It had a microwave and refrigerator but only 2 coffee cups and 2 glasses. The grounds are well maintained with lots of tropical plants. The pool looked nice. The restaurant was okay and the bar made decent drinks. The employees were helpful. On the other hand the toilet broke which they fixed about 2 hours later after they bought a part. The door chain was broken which they fixed after I pointed it out to them. We ran out of hot water when my husband showered after me. It is located about 20 minutes outside Bridgetown so you needed a taxi or a car to go to any other restaurants.

The property is CLEAN and QUIET. The staff is REMARKABLE and ready to serve. The COST is reasonable. Positives: quiet, great restaurant, clean rooms, kitchenette in room with coffee maker, cost effective Negatives: would have preferred cotton sheets, a more comfortable bed, beach is 2 minute walk but NOT a swimmable beach ... you need to go to the other side of the island for cleaner, calmer waters. A note about the island: they take USD but only give change in BBD - best to go to the island with BBD rather than USD.

The room was clean and modern and very comfortable but my favorite was the bed. It was super comfortable; so much so that it felt like I was sleeping on air. The staff were also super helpful. The shuttle was an added bonus. I did not take the shuttle to the hotel and our taxi driver got lost. So make sure you let the hotel know your arrival details so that the shuttle would be available.

South Point Hotel is a gem. The landscaping is beautiful. The hotel is clean and the room was beautifully decorated. My family stayed in the 2-bedroom family suite and it was perfect for the family. Fully air conditioned, kitchenette, 2 bathrooms, living/ dining area and a balcony which gave us a good view of the garden. The pool is kids friendly and enjoyable. The full bajan breakfast was excellent.This hotel is quiet and away from the busy roads which is great for relaxation, wedding, remote work and family stays. The staff is helpful and polite. I would 100% recommend.

If you're looking to disconnect and truly vacate, this is the place to be. The hotel is fairly new, but its a boutique hotel with parking, a full restaurant and basically everything thats advertised. The con is the location, it's not walking distance to any of the local bars or night life. While this wasn't necessity a con for me because I enjoy boutique hotels with most amenities and access to the beach, for others it may be boring. Overall the staff is kind and truly amazing. Safe to say I'll be back.

When we checked in we were told we would have a free breakfast. The next morning we were told that was a mistake $60! The morning shower was a good wake up, no hot water! The only bright spot was being taught how to roll towels for the pool! They did call when we were enroute to the airport that we had left a charger behind which we returned for.

My stay was very pleasant. The a/c was working well in my bedroom but the coolness didnt extend to the living room. I did love that I had two balconies. The property itself was well maintained. The staff was friendly. The beach was a short walk from the property. It was not crowded and I was able to relax and even take a nap under the shade of a tree.

Stayed in the Family Suite Garden View, a massive modern flat: all in it felt new and well kept. Breakfast a la carte was ok. Staff was friendly and helpful. Given the rates, would have been nice to have a shuttle service included, even just to reach Oistins bus stop. I was told there were complimentary items in the rooms but never found any :o(

The room was clean and modern and very comfortable but my favorite was the bed. It was super comfortable; so much so that it felt like I was sleeping on air. The staff were also super helpful. The shuttle was an added bonus. I did not take the shuttle to the hotel and our taxi driver got lost. So make sure you let the hotel know your arrival details so that the shuttle would be available.

South Point Hotel is a gem. The landscaping is beautiful. The hotel is clean and the room was beautifully decorated. My family stayed in the 2-bedroom family suite and it was perfect for the family. Fully air conditioned, kitchenette, 2 bathrooms, living/ dining area and a balcony which gave us a good view of the garden. The pool is kids friendly and enjoyable. The full bajan breakfast was excellent.This hotel is quiet and away from the busy roads which is great for relaxation, wedding, remote work and family stays. The staff is helpful and polite. I would 100% recommend.

The hotel is a 2 minute walk to a beach and you can walk along the beach in either direction for 20-30 minutes. The front desk ensured that we knew what to see on the island, recommendations for local spots for food, drink, and sightseeing, and they coordinate the shuttle as needed, sometimes with little to no notice. The staff really just brings this property to life. From front desk down to the bar, just phenomenal. Very accommodating. Walk in with a welcome drink and is located on a beach…the location IS tucked away so you will have to relay on taxis a bit BUT it is beautifully ran and decorated. Worth every penny! Definitely coming back and many of my friends want to stay here as well.

Stayed in the Family Suite Garden View, a massive modern flat: all in it felt new and well kept. Breakfast a la carte was ok. Staff was friendly and helpful. Given the rates, would have been nice to have a shuttle service included, even just to reach Oistins bus stop. I was told there were complimentary items in the rooms but never found any :o(

Fantastic stay. Room clean, bed comfortable. food at the restaurant was amazing and highly recommended. Staff were lovely and engaging. Pool towels provided on the sunbeds around the pool or towels available at reception to take to the beach. Car or taxis required but this was no issue for us. Highly recommend this hotel

We chose this place just for an overnight stay, as we had a cruise to catch the following day. At first, the reception was warm, but the lady there, had no idea of what she was doing, forever asking the one beside her what to do. Then we were taken to our room. Cheap decoration . It smelt of mold everywhere, but the pillows and bathroom were unbearable. Dinner at Driftwood was very good and tasty, but it couldn’t be charged to the room. They came knocking at the door late in the evening with the machine in hand to pay. The breakfast menu ran out of continental breakfast at 9:30 AM (really?). Fortunately, a kind server was able to get some toast and coffee for us. The man at reception in the morning, was extremely unpleasant and treated us rudely. I’m surprised this hotel is rated 4.5* stars. It’s more like 2* stars. The bathroom counter was cracked, the shampoo and bath gel shelf had fallen out from the shower wall and was just left on the counter, and 1 lamp was burnt out! No phone in the room, so if we wanted anything, we had to walk up and down two flights of stairs, every time. No normal TV, just Netflix, so you can’t watch the news channels, only movies. Nearby beach is not an option. I would never recommend this place.

The beach behind the property is not really one to lounge and swim in. We had to drive about 15 mins or so to get the beach experience. Only one restaurant on site, luckily the food was great lol. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Only downside is that you have to drive everywhere since the resort is secluded and away from the “tourist area”. Still would recommend and will stay here again.

Good news/bad news. It’s a bit isolated so nothing except the restaurant next door is open so you have to drive, taxi or get a ride to go anywhere. You don’t have to go very far though. Lots of nice places to go. Water is good out of the tap. Quiet, lovely staff.

I love everything about this place, from when I checked in, from the room, the people at the restaurant in the bar, the rooms itself, and all that. The biggest con that this place has, it’s that is too far from most of the things going on in Barbados, such as savvy on the bay, brownes Beach, Boatyard and everything else that goes on, on the west beach. HOWEVER, you’re only 24BBD away from Oistins Fish market so it’s definitely a blessing to be close and not a far drive to be away from. This hotel is more of a secluded location and more slowed down. Other than that, I will come back and rent out this hotel again in the future.

If you're looking to disconnect and truly vacate, this is the place to be. The hotel is fairly new, but its a boutique hotel with parking, a full restaurant and basically everything thats advertised. The con is the location, it's not walking distance to any of the local bars or night life. While this wasn't necessity a con for me because I enjoy boutique hotels with most amenities and access to the beach, for others it may be boring. Overall the staff is kind and truly amazing. Safe to say I'll be back.

When we checked in we were told we would have a free breakfast. The next morning we were told that was a mistake $60! The morning shower was a good wake up, no hot water! The only bright spot was being taught how to roll towels for the pool! They did call when we were enroute to the airport that we had left a charger behind which we returned for.

The property is exceptionally beautiful, and the surroundings are very organic. Because of my stay, I fell in love with Barbados. The food at Driftwood was very expensive, but every dish was tasty and had me wanting more. Joy and Christina were sweethearts. Joy even helped me with my elderly mother. With the exception of the airport shuttle driver, your staff is phenomenal. Jean-Pierre and Michael are so kind. Everyone made sure we were well taken care of, grounds men included. Suggestion, put it in your policy to limit interactions between the airport shuttle driver and your guests. Carson is a scammer, fresh and will give the hotel a bad reputation. Other than that, I’ll definitely tell my friends and family and will patronize again. Thank you!

My stay at the South Point Hotel BBD was awesome! The staff was amazing incredible especially Shonda. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed the sip and paint. This resort is Definitely family friendly. We felt very safe at this location. The restaurant was also delicious. The only negative is that you can’t get any food after 10pm. With being so remote this was a bit of an issue for my group. The only other issue we had was the lighting that led to the neighboring bar, Surfers Bay. The path was not well lit and one of my friends broke a shoe on the rocky path. Other than that, I highly recommend. 9/10

Usei esse hotel só para ficar algumas horas enquanto esperava uma conexão. Um hotel pequeno sem comodidades no quarto, apenas uma cozinha pequena. O atendimento da recepção foi ótimo do restaurante nem tanto. A praia não é muito perto ficamos apenas na piscina.

I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were absolutely amazing—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The property is very nice, well maintained, and has a comfortable atmosphere. The food and drinks were also great and definitely added to the overall experience. There were a couple of areas that could use improvement. Unfortunately, the hot water in the shower was not working during my stay, and the floors could have been cleaned a little better. However, overall, the hotel was clean and well cared for. Despite those minor issues, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel. The wonderful staff, nice property, and great food and drinks made my stay a pleasant one. I would happily consider staying here again

Had a wonderful trip. The staff was awesome. They made me feel right at home. Facilities were clean. There’s some nearby places that you can walk to check out. This hotel was very nice and affordable, the staff was helpful and friendly my only issue was the location of the hotel.. very far from all of the upscale restaurants almost $70 for a uber to QP bistro which is crazy if I knew beforehand and did my research better I would’ve stayed closer to all of the popular sites and restaurants. Also they advertise the king bed room and charge you extra but it’s really two twin beds pushed together so if you try to sleep in the middle you fall in the hole and the height difference from the twin beds didn’t match as well. Found that ridiculous that’s a problem that should be fixed with a simple mattress topper. Other than that the hotel was clean, restaurant on property was delicious but expensive. The view of the beach was amazing with a short walk and they have cows, ducks, crabs, lizards, sheep and birds all over the resort. Amazing
