Hotel is OK. Bathroom is clean and recently updated. Rest of room was in need of freshing up but OK for a few nights sleep. Hotel has about 20 parking spots inside which was very convenient. Whilst hotel was fine and conveniently located in SF for public transport, it's let down by being in one of the rough area of SF with plenty of homeless people camping in local streets. Whilst it's never felt truly unsafe, it's definitely not a great place for walking with a family. Quite a lot of shouting could be heard from room at night. But as a base to go to the more touristy places of SF using public transport, it's fine and was good value.

It was just what we need to sleep, get ready and eat. It doesn't have the extra amenities (pool, laundry, etc) but we didn't need it. Our room had a nice table and chairs where we enjoyed our dinner from a local pizza place.

If you’re looking at this hotel, you are on a budget & price conscious. It is old, very clean, free parking. It ain’t the Taj Mahal.. but damn good for the price in the city. Rooms are nothing to be afraid of. & free parking!!!!!

This was possibly the worst lodging experience I’ve ever had. The room was dirty and in desperate need of repair. I found black curly hairs in the bed, the room smelled terrible, and the staff was unfriendly. If you need a place to stay and this is all that's available, please be aware that this hotel is located in one of the most dangerous areas in San Francisco. DO NOT GO OUT AFTER DARK. You couldn't pay me to stay here again.

I NEVER post reviews but this was the WORST hotel experience I have had and I feel the need to warn others. Obviously I didnt expect a high end experience, but the level of noise, filth, rudeness from office staff and deceptive practices makes this hotel less than 1 star. First, I booked a room with 2 beds and was given a single room. They refused to refund the difference of the room prices and lied to Expedia and said they had moved us to the correct room to avoid giving the refund. When I called to ask about their parking, which was clearly stated on the hotel amenities, the manager snickered and said they only have "limited parking", which turned out to be 13 spaces for almost 50 rooms. When I asked about other parking options near the hotel, I was told to "figure it out". Not to mention, our tiny car barely fit. The elevator was broken. The room was filthy. The pillows were pitifully flat. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The noise from other rooms radiated thru our room. The icing on the cake was when the shower nozzle literally flew off and hit me. All in all, a truly horrid experience.

This time I opted for the King sweet. Way bigger room & clean comfy bed. Plenty of coffee (3 bags). unlike most places give you 1-2. Free self parking--$40-$60 value. I will always come stay here. It is a great value.

Totally think that the stay here was okay. The rooms were clean and loved having the little refrigerator and microwave! The location is on the edge of the Tenderloin neighborhood so wandering in the wrong direction can be “interesting”. Something that I think is important to mention is that access can be difficult. We had a room on the 3rd floor. We (3 of us) were staying for a week and had a decent amount of luggage. There is an elevator, however it is the size of a phone booth (look it up if you’re not old enough to remember). My solution was to put a load in the elevator and then go up the stairs (it’s a slow elevator as well) then take the luggage to the room…then go back downstairs and do it again. This obviously could be a challenge for a lot of people! I took a short video of the elevator but this won’t let me upload it so there’s just an screenshot. Otherwise a decent price for a nice room in an amazing city! Love ❤️ SF!

All I wanted was a clean bed, a TV, a little frig, some natural light and a well-functioning heating system --inexpensively.. They had exactly what I was seeking plus free parking -- which is a big thing in San Francisco. The common areas were very worn looking. The bathroom was recently renovated looking. I requested extra pillows at the check-in desk (there is no lobby) for better reading in bed, to which the young woman clerk responded "I don't know if we have extra pillows", but they were brought to my room while I was out. I stayed here while a friend had surgery and was recuperating at CPMC on Geary and Van Ness. It was convenient and much more affordable than the $12 per hour parking charged by the hospital. Note: it is on Eddy on the western side of Van Ness

Elevator was broken. Lugging stuff up and down 5 flights of stairs. Door frame not weather proofed; cold breeze coming in. Shower was good...rooms are directly over parking, so you hear every car door slam, every alarm sound, any time of day. Homeless in alley next door, so noise and obscenities at all hours. Not recommending this place to anyone!

Very loud guests in some rooms, lots of pounding on the walls and when we asked the hotel to do something about it, they did nothing. Impossible to sleep with the noise in the middle of the night. Asked for a refund since they did not do anything about it and they blacklisted us stating we tried to scam them. Not recommended

The hotel denied to provided room event thought I arrived between 7:30pm-8:30pm and hasd paid for the room. They said I had been blacklisted for some reason and denied to provide a refund. They said I had to contact hotels.com for a refund. I've contacted Hotels.com , was placed on hold for an unreasonable amount of time and not provided a refund.

Neglected stars and elevator, but clean, well appointed room. Good AC. Up-to-date bathroom, comtable beds. And this is the only hotel I've ever been in that has two toilet paper dispensers with different styles of tissues. Excellent location to government and performing arts venues. Professional and friendly front desk

Very loud guests in some rooms, lots of pounding on the walls and when we asked the hotel to do something about it, they did nothing. Impossible to sleep with the noise in the middle of the night. Asked for a refund since they did not do anything about it and they blacklisted us stating we tried to scam them. Not recommended

This is one of the better values in the city. Off street parking included. It’s nothing fancy and maybe slightly run-down. But it’s clean, affordable and convenient.

The area is safe. Public transportation to the major tourist attractions like Fisherman's Wharf, the Zoo, The Academy of Sciences, and the theatre district is good. Staff was helpful.

Totally think that the stay here was okay. The rooms were clean and loved having the little refrigerator and microwave! The location is on the edge of the Tenderloin neighborhood so wandering in the wrong direction can be “interesting”. Something that I think is important to mention is that access can be difficult. We had a room on the 3rd floor. We (3 of us) were staying for a week and had a decent amount of luggage. There is an elevator, however it is the size of a phone booth (look it up if you’re not old enough to remember). My solution was to put a load in the elevator and then go up the stairs (it’s a slow elevator as well) then take the luggage to the room…then go back downstairs and do it again. This obviously could be a challenge for a lot of people! I took a short video of the elevator but this won’t let me upload it so there’s just an screenshot. Otherwise a decent price for a nice room in an amazing city! Love ❤️ SF!

Pros; -Low affordable price. -Easy check in/check out. -Front desk clerk pleasant. -Free parking on ground level. -Cleaning staff are amazing and nice. -Restrooms are updated. -Room heater and A/C work great. -Round Table Pizza/Burger King/Peet's coffee is nearby/walking distance. -Walking distance to SF City Hall. A must see on a weekday! You can walk right in and self tour all 4 floors. Cons; -Elevator doesn't work. -Ice machine only on ground level. -Not a secured parking. -Homeless people wonder onto parking lot and yell or make noises throughout the nights and are not addressed by staff. -Homeless people standing/sleeping on sidewalk outside hotel. -Dirty floors outside hotel room and hotel stairwell. -Room pillows are worn down so take your own pillows and blankets for comfort. -Not too many food options or nice sight seeing things nearby othe than mentioned above. -Be sure to lysol the room and wipe down walls/chairs/knobs etc. -Look out the windows and you'll see Homeless out front and along the sidewalk.

Hotel is OK. Bathroom is clean and recently updated. Rest of room was in need of freshing up but OK for a few nights sleep. Hotel has about 20 parking spots inside which was very convenient. Whilst hotel was fine and conveniently located in SF for public transport, it's let down by being in one of the rough area of SF with plenty of homeless people camping in local streets. Whilst it's never felt truly unsafe, it's definitely not a great place for walking with a family. Quite a lot of shouting could be heard from room at night. But as a base to go to the more touristy places of SF using public transport, it's fine and was good value.

This was possibly the worst lodging experience I’ve ever had. The room was dirty and in desperate need of repair. I found black curly hairs in the bed, the room smelled terrible, and the staff was unfriendly. If you need a place to stay and this is all that's available, please be aware that this hotel is located in one of the most dangerous areas in San Francisco. DO NOT GO OUT AFTER DARK. You couldn't pay me to stay here again.

It was just what we need to sleep, get ready and eat. It doesn't have the extra amenities (pool, laundry, etc) but we didn't need it. Our room had a nice table and chairs where we enjoyed our dinner from a local pizza place.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Redwood City. Easy parking, easy access to the freeway. Helpful staff with sincere hospitality. I love my balcony view of a sparkling clean pool. The grounds are nice. Lots of birds singing while relaxing outside in the courtyard drinking good coffee. But don’t tell too many people. It fills up fast!

The only thing good about this place is the free parking, assuming it doesn't get filled up. You get what you pay for, so don't expect too much from it. Rooms were average, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The bed in our room would tilt to one side. Definitely one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever encountered in any hotel or motel. Good location, but a little bit seedy due to the neighbourhood. Not sure if I would stay here again simply because of the uncomfortable bed.

Lo más rescatable fue el estacionamiento, el baño estaba remodelado la ducha pero los paredes estaban en súper mal estado, no tenía cajones ya que estaban rotos. Creo que si solo lo usas para dormir está bien. En la mañana se escuchaba muchísimo ruido de que sacudían una puerta de las 3 noches que estuvimos la escuché 2
