My son and I had an amazing stay at The Chamonix in Cripple Creek! The pool and spa area are gorgeous. We got to try the Experimental Shower, enjoy the steam room, and both saunas. The pool is heated, which is nice because there is no hot tub unfortunately. The rooms are beautiful too. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Complimentary coffee in the room with wet bar for additional purchase. Our robes were not in the room, like mentioned during booking though. Made it a little harder to walk the halls to and from the pool since we didn’t pack our own. We didn’t gamble but people looked like they were having a good time in the casino. We also did not try the restaurants on site, but the cafe was alright. The pastries and drinks lacked flavor and were pretty pricey. I have to give special shoutouts to the bellman, David and Melysa in the spa for all their help!

Everything about this hotel was amazing! Modern, clean, comfortable. The rooftop pool was the best part! Heated pool with an amazing view, rooftop bar was nice to enjoy a cocktail in the pool. Loved the robes provided for use during our stay. Would return here in a heartbeat!

This hotel was amazing. Rooms gorgeous, beds comfy. But no mini fridge or microwave, you can request for a cost. I loved the heated roof top pool and sauna,especially the fitness center was equipped with state of the art equipment. I loved it! It’s a small mining town turned casino strip, a lot of old history, old buildings. Not much to do if you take children it’s all casinos. I would recommend.

Dr. Pepper on the soda station was out for 3 days. Pool was busted and not available to use. They have doors in the halways to the rooms that are always closed and cant prop open. Phone in room didnt work to call room service or front desk.

Hair still all over the bathroom floor and all over the shower. Wasn't too happy about that. No coat racks in room. Witnessed one of the table game employees use the restroom then leave without washing his hands! The experience should be much better with the price of the rooms.

The entry of the hotel is very impressive. The multitude of elevators and the order in which you need to take each one to get to various locations within the hotel was confusing. I was not sure that our bathroom floor had been mopped but I know for sure our room had not been vacuumed. The beds were hard and a bit lumpy and there was no top sheet on either of our beds-just a comforter which we found odd. The shower was very…unique/different/odd and might not appeal to everyone. If one stays during the week, be prepared to not have access to all the amenities due to low traffic. Lastly, the prices at the spa are ridiculous especially for Cripple Creek. They would have a lot more business were their prices in line with where they are actually located.

The bed in our room was terrible. I let the lady know the following day at check out and she did not seemed to interested. The bed was overused and formed a taco shape in the middle of the bed making it difficult to sleep. I was hoping to get an over night fee adjustment due to my terrible bed conditions. During this recent trip we stayed over 16 different nights at different hotels, and this was by far the most uncomfortable bed we endured. Hotel and casino nice BUT the management is unprofessional and incompetent. Check-in was delayed for multiple hours for our party and many other guests. We prepaid for the room and this was confirmed at check-in yet the hotel charged my credit card the full rate of the room 12 hours later.

It was ok overall. The service needs to be improved. First we couldn’t check in at 4, and there were several people who had to wait for their rooms. We finally got to check in at 5:30. We went to the speakeasy and tried to order a snack. The bartender said it could take up to an hour and a half. Luckily prime 908 was delicious. Although we got there before our reservation and tried to order a drink, but the bartender said he would serve us last since he needed to make drinks for the tables. The room was clean and comfortable.

Excellent! First time in Cripple Creek and couldn’t have asked for better accommodations! First I’d like to say staff were Awesome! Look for Donald - one of the bell hops - if you happen to stay there! He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, funny and kind! The room was great and they gave us a room on the 9th floor with a beautiful view! We also booked Spa services which were great!

I called to ask for two forks and a knife to our room to use for a small birthday cake and was told no. I could only have them if I ordered from their steakhouse. I asked for our room to be cleaned after 2 1/2 days and again was told no, because the staff was too busy. I asked for new towels and never received those either. The bathroom in our room smelled like old water was used to clean it. The staff appeared to be overwhelmed. The valet staff were courteous, prompt, and very friendly. Not worth the money.

Casino visit started out bumpy at check in. Hotel wouldn't honor a valid free night's stay promotion we had, didn't offer any alternate promo, or even offer to buy us a drink for our trouble. We stayed the two nights anyway. The hotel is new and nice, but is seriously under-staffed, resulting in having to wait for a number of standard hotel services and emineties.

The property is beautiful, staff was very professional, courteous, helpful. You get to stand in the driveway on Bennett Avenue and see length of the street, history all around the hotel casino. The only negative we have is the water pressure in the room (shower), and mattress needs replacing. Has two body marks in it, slept restless. Overall, the Hotel Casino is a great addition to Cripple Creek.

Beautiful new hotel in a great location. All staff were very friendly. Enjoyed the rooftop pool and sauna during our stay in December. Hotel has a convenient free parking garage. The only very minor issues we had were that the TV was a bit difficult to figure out at first, and the mini bar in the room seems way too aggressive (weight sensors?!?) I’d prefer a friendly snack/concessions stand by the elevators rather than a ridiculous mini bar that I have to be careful not to touch. I’d rather they got rid of the mini bar. But as I said, that was just a minor note and we loved the hotel.

At first, I was confused why I wasn't in the Chamonix building, and was up the street. Again, saw the "High School" building and was disappointed a little. However, when I was inside, it was a beautiful, old, well restored building with so much history and charm!! I loved it, and even if it may be haunted.... I'll take it! Very beautiful! Toured the old gymnasium, with original flooring and peaked in some of the other rooms. My room was quite comfortable with plenty of fans, as I'm sure there was no AC, a TV, lots of pillows and an in-room coffee maker. (no resort fee either). I would highly recommend this building and it is a short, not even 5 minute walk to the casino. (hint: walk that street, cut through the garage of Chamonix and go to the main street. Reverse when going back, so the hills aren't so bad)

I'm not a gambler, so I didn't partake in a lot of those associated amenities. Excellent free indoor parking available. Centrally located. Unless you wish to use and get charged for the in room refrigerator and the associated contents, don't planned opening it at all. Don't even touch it or you'll get charged.

Very nicely done Las Vegas style casino and hotel. We only stayed 1 day and 1 night. The front desk was very accommodating and allowed us an early check in. Multi level Parking Garage was included and allowed easy access to the main casino / hotel level.

We did not receive any breakfast, coffee in room was great. The dinner recommended by hotel check-in staff at the steak house was a huge disappointment and a rip off. Poor service, long wait and the steak was raw even after we sent it back to cook longer. Most expensive and worse piece of meat we have ever had!!

It started off rocky as the cafe staff was rude but their high-end (980 Prime) restaurant staff and food definitely turned things around. The room was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable, especially for the price!!! I WILL be a regular now and not stay or gamble at any other casino in Cripple Creek!

Gorgeous hotel & rooms, but Dining options were on both sides of the spectrum; Steak house was incredibly fancy & expensive and "Cafe' was tiny & meager. Mexican Restaurant was closed during our stay. Pool was closed for repairs and very difficult to get to. Still, probably the best option in Cripple Creek.

The room was very clean stocked with coffee and complementary water bottles. There were things for purchase wine, snacks. The phone in the room initially did not work but a previous customer had tampered with it and we managed to make it work to get in touch with the Front Desk. It was a last-minute booking and the Front Desk provided us with a toothbrush and toothpaste. The casino is very well kept and the hospitality is superb. We will be back.

If you want to stay in the casino, this is a really nice clean casino to stay in. It's one of the better looking ones in the city. The rooms are nice, well appointed. The showers are amazing. The ice machines are usually broken.. the parking garage is free. There is no breakfast. The staff checks you in. There are not very helpful. They do love to point at things. However, and they give you a general direction of where to go. They 're clearly not interested in helping.
