I believe it was a busy weekend so the staff seemed a bit worn from that. The indoor pool/hot tub which was a main draw for the short trip was non-operational with the stafg not able to provide a timeline. The room itself was nicely appointed and clean. It os a bit outside of downtown Fort Bragg and not really a walkable distance. It is about a mile to the ocean and great Northern California coast. Due to the weekend being busy no accommodation was provided for either an early check in after a long drive, nor a late checl out after the Snunk train.

The views from the room were ok. The indoor pool and hot tub were great (pre-entry shower took some figuring out). Access is a breeze and there was plenty of convenient parking. The complimentary breakfast and eating area was very good. There's a few eateries and a nice grocery store within walking distance. The beach is walkable but a good stretch, across a busy road.

This Holiday Inn Express in Fort Bragg was just what we needed for our West Coast vacation. It was easy, clean and comfortable. The check in was simple, no hidden costs, parking was free. The fitness room was well stocked, ice was available, and the coffee / breakfast was a nice way to start the day. The cost was a bit high, but used points, so the value was perfect.

The first room we were assigned was not cleaned. The front desk assigned us to a new room. It was clean except for behind the door of the bathroom floor. Overall, our stay was very nice and we would stay again.

The room was clean and well maintained. We used the pool and the hot tub and enjoyed both. The breakfast was good had a good verity they hot stuff was kept fresh. When we went to bed eat the second night we didn’t have any problems with noise. Would stay there again if we were in the area.

Every thing I was hoping for. Hotel was modern, clean, peaceful and quiet. Delicious breakfast. Good size pool and hot tub. Super nice gal at check-in I am Horrible with names so it was either Susan or Sarah but can’t forget her beautiful red hair!

one night sleep, my husband showed me that the bed sheet had bloodstain when he went into the bed, and he didn't know if the sheet was washed before or not. It looked like that the blood was got from the woman period. I felt disappointed a little. My husband and I slept on a queen bed, and my two girls slept on another queen bed. it was the first time we met in a hotel.

For the most part he property was adequate. We did however have a couple of cleaning issues -- when we first checked in, there were used gloves on top of a towel in the bathroom. I just tossed the gloves and didn't use that towel. Second - one of the beds had blood on the sheets. We only needed 1 bed and were only staying a couple of nights so we just used the other bed. Overall the room was fine but a little iffy on the cleaning part!

Beautiful renovations but terrible sound management in rooms. Awoke multiple times each night. Beds very firm became uncomfortable after an hour. Pool was clean and well kept. Breakfast was ok but food was sometimes under cooked (biscuits raw interior) or over cooked (eggs). Good location to access Ft Bragg and the botanical gardens.

The hotel accommodations were generally typical for this chain and were fine. What we didn’t like was being woken up at 5am by the sound of dripping water hitting our air conditioner from the one above. No one could sleep through it (2 kids and two adults) and it was the result of a maintenance issue. We were all grumpy and sleep deprived as a result. Then we noticed the sign on the door that said the maximum they were allowed to charge for the room. We had paid over $100 more. I felt like I had been ripped off. IANAL, but I’m pretty sure that info is posted by law to prevent price gouging. The final straw was that, because of sleep deprivation, we left behind our daughter’s stuffed giraffe that her grandmother had given her the day she was born. The hotel has not been able to find it. We are heartbroken. Where could it possibly have gone? If they just found the giraffe, we could get over it. But as it is, we will always remember our stay there as being unpleasant.

Everything was great, our only note would be that our room was listed as a scenic view or ocean view, and we had a large tree up close to the window covering most all of it. Otherwise the place was clean, staff were nice and it was conveniently located for our event needs.

Checkin around 2:10pm. Nobody was at front desk for almost 10mins. Couldn’t find my reservation went back and forth asking name. Front desk Jennifer was telling me I was too early for checkin. Other than that every thing else was great.

Beautiful area, the front desk staff was rude, when we had an issue with the fireplace control knob and not being able to shut the fireplace off so that we didn’t overheat at night. We went to the front desk to report and show the broken knob to the front desk. The guy literally accused us of breaking the knob and was rude and basically called us liars. There was no room for us to change to and he was unwilling to help. Really surprised us because and disappointed us

Our family had a wonderful stay at Holliday Inn express Fort Bragg. The staff were kind and welcoming. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing each morning with a great variety of things to choose from. Our five year old especially liked the pancake machine. Staff was very accommodating to our needs as far as a room and were o. Rop of ensuring that we were in a room not designated for animals due to allergies. Will definitely stay here next time we are in town.

It was beautiful and quiet. The forest view was worth it. The hotel was a 2 min drive from downtown Fort Bragg and was right off Highway 1. Would definitely come back especially since the hotel was clean, comfy, and the staff was so kind.

The hotel itself was excellent, this is our third stay and we will be back again. Two issues. Someone's car alarm went off 3 times in the hours between 2 and 6 AM. Next time we will request a room on the back, non highway side, the highway noise can be quite loud.

I believe it was a busy weekend so the staff seemed a bit worn from that. The indoor pool/hot tub which was a main draw for the short trip was non-operational with the stafg not able to provide a timeline. The room itself was nicely appointed and clean. It os a bit outside of downtown Fort Bragg and not really a walkable distance. It is about a mile to the ocean and great Northern California coast. Due to the weekend being busy no accommodation was provided for either an early check in after a long drive, nor a late checl out after the Snunk train.

Room was a good size and well layed out. Bed was comfortable. We had a nice valley view and partial sea view. Quite a few breakfast options. Convenient location at Hwys 20 and 1 but very quiet from our room facing the valley. Some of the front desk staff weren’t the most friendly but all in all we received good service. Would stay here again.

Convenient location for exploring Mendocino and Fort Bragg at a reasonable price point. The free breakfast is a nice bonus. There is a Tesla charging station 2 blocks away if you need to charge your car. No ocean view and not super quaint like other options but also doesn’t have the cost associated with it.

Had a great time exploring Ft. Bragg with my family. The location of the hotel is great (just outside town and avoiding most traffic and noise). Breakfast was great and we enjoyed the pool as well. Staff was super helpful and gave us great tips for dining in town. The facility is kept is good condition and clean, so we greatly recommend it.

Great property in Ft Bragg. Staff was great; housekeeping was outstanding. The heater in the room was inconsistent. It was either extremely hot or cold. Breakfast was good. Orange juice was watered down; but cranberry juice was good. Food was on point and appreciated.

It was a good stay all around. The only thing I can comment on is the breakfast area are too small and few seatings. There were days that not a lot of people can sit and enjoy their breakfast. One more thing is the toilet in our room and my friend’s room has very low pressure when flushing. We have to borrow a plunger to make the toilet functional again for two days in a row.

When we got there, the pool was not available and hadn't been since last year. The false advertising was a huge letdown. The pool was advertised on google, as well as their own website and all the manager had to say about it was "thats weird". To top that off, the breakfast bar made me very sick. We ended up leaving and staying nearby where the pool was nice (and open) and the staff was much more friendly.

The location is good for access to Van Damme State Park. The coffee was exceptionally great - the machine actually grinds the beans! The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was better than average. The staff was efficient and pleasant.
