I arrived 11 P.M. and was not the only one doing that. I got fast service. The night clerk took me outside to show me where the electric car chargers were, going beyond what one would expect. Unfortunately, they were not the company for which I have a card. The bed was too hard, the room too hot. I couldn't fall asleep for a long while. Without earplugs, the noise from traffic would have kept me awake all night. Does have blackout shades. Big room. Bring your earplugs. No noise from adjacent rooms. Elevator worked. Everything was clean.

For the price it was nice. There was coffee and packaged small danish available in the morning. Although area around property optimal but the parking lot was well lit. Also parking is free and the surrounding area has change eateries near by including Starbuck, Denny's, IHOP and near El Cerrito Shopping Center with more eateries, CVA, Barnes and noble. For me it was in a area with conveniences.

Front door locked. After getting in clerk said we needed to use our key. We hadn't checked in yet! Needed inexpensive overnight stay close to the area I was expected in early next day. General appearance average. Good freeway access.no guest services. Room just ok, had to remove toilet tank lid (once), stuck valve didn't allow tank refill. Best, I can say - not recommend unless it's best you can afford.

I chose this place solely because it was close to the people we were visiting. Big mistake. It is located directly across from a major freeway entrance. The property around it is mostly vacant trash filled lots.Absolutely no amenities. The bed was hard, covered with a non-fitted sheet, thin coverlet and tiny lumpy pillows. Small staff (perhaps family run?) but nice enough.

The property was clean, which was great. However, the tub dripped constantly, the bed pillows were so uncomfortable that it was difficult to sleep, and the noise from outside as well as from neighboring rooms in the hotel was quite loud. Overall, I do not recommend this property.

The price was reasonable and the appearance was nice but those were probably the best things about the hotel. Overall I did not enjoy my stay. With check-in, I did not feel welcomed; instead, I felt like I was a bother to the clerk. He was sleeping in the back office when I arrived and I think that’s why he didn’t come across as friendly (I woke him up at midnight). One of the card keys didn’t work so when I asked him to re-code it he said it worked; it didn’t but it was too much trouble to force the issue. The floor in the room had stuff stuck to the carpet that should have been cleaned. The iron didn’t work properly and I couldn’t even adjust the heat because the dial was broken. The ironing board was bent. The iron was cabled to the board so I had to drag everything to the bathroom to put water. The toilet leaked (sound). The shower curtain was too long and wouldn’t close properly so I had be careful not to slip in the shower and clean the water on the floor because of the curtain. The hair dryer didn’t work and literally started smoking when turned on. The pillows were uncomfortable. The dresser drawers were sticky and wouldn’t close properly. Sorry for all the negativity but it was not a good experience.

The hotel is clean, but beds were hard, pillows were hard too, we have stayed here in the past and don't remember been like that before. A few of the electrical inlets are missing covers, hair dryer sounded like it was going to fall apart, tissue paper not replenished, tried to get water from on of the bending machines but was empty. Maybe just me nip-picking.

The floor above one's room are very creaky and wake you up if somebody walks on it. I put in ear plugs during the first night. The second night, nobody used the room above us.

We were very comfortable in our 2nd floor room with elevator access. The beds were very comfortable, with high quality linens. We enjoyed good sleep without noise disruptions. Window coverings were best ever! No breakfast was offered, but Fat Apple’s neighborhood cafe and bakery is nearby and was EXCELLENT. We will stay here again!

Pillows were not that comfy, might be a personal preference. Bathroom light fixture was rusted and had cobwebs, cosmetic issue. Was a nice stay, not noisy to where it kept me up which is good considering it’s by the freeway.

I love the convenience to my father's house. However, there was no breakfast. Just coffee and Cinnamon rolls. Anita at the front desk was wonderful with a pleasant professional attitude. The guys at the desk have never attended any customer service training. No greetings, no smiles, always looked as though I was bothering them. Did receive a smile when I was saying goodbye after we checked out.

The front staff was not friendly the entire time we were there. I don't think the like being there. No welcome, no smile, no engagement or friendly behavior. The place needs some major renovation. Only thing we enjoyed was the location next to the highway which made it easy to access.

Unfortunately the hotel feels shady. One front desk attendant who seems to be mostly hidden away somewhere when you need help. I have not complaints about the hotel, it was nice and clean and beds were very comfortable and quiet hallways. But I didn’t like the location but it feel very unsafe to walk around the neighborhood, lots of homeless especially surrounding the restaurants that you went to eat. You definitely need car. This time a left my car at the airport amd use Uber, it was my worse decision ever.

Our view out of the window was of an abandoned building with graffiti and a very large pile of trash in front of it. The sheets on the bed did not go all the way to the end of the bed. Staff was very friendly and coffee and packaged Danish was supplied for morning breakfast. Convenience location to shopping and restaurants.

For the price it was nice. There was coffee and packaged small danish available in the morning. Although area around property optimal but the parking lot was well lit. Also parking is free and the surrounding area has change eateries near by including Starbuck, Denny's, IHOP and near El Cerrito Shopping Center with more eateries, CVA, Barnes and noble. For me it was in a area with conveniences.

I love the convenience to my father's house. However, there was no breakfast. Just coffee and Cinnamon rolls. Anita at the front desk was wonderful with a pleasant professional attitude. The guys at the desk have never attended any customer service training. No greetings, no smiles, always looked as though I was bothering them. Did receive a smile when I was saying goodbye after we checked out.

We were very comfortable in our 2nd floor room with elevator access. The beds were very comfortable, with high quality linens. We enjoyed good sleep without noise disruptions. Window coverings were best ever! No breakfast was offered, but Fat Apple’s neighborhood cafe and bakery is nearby and was EXCELLENT. We will stay here again!

I like this location as it's close to BART. Small breakfast selection but that works for someone who isn't looking to eat a big breakfast. Only drawback is that the pillows were very uncomfortable. Cheap pillows

Really clean rooms and sheet beds. Tile inside the restroom was broken and looks bad . But really clean. Ice machine was broken I couldn't get ice at night or morning. Experience was 9.5 out of 10

Building and property we’re okay in fare to good condition, the property is very close to freeway and loud freeway noise makes its way inside of room. Worst pillows I have ever encountered in a hotel, the one thing most important was un believably horrible, similar to a sack of potatoes, the price was excellent for the area. But not getting good sleep was not worth the price break.

This is a convenient off the freeway place to stay. No frills clean place to lay your head down in, shower etc. Its not perfect,mind u. but everything that NEEDS to work to get a good nights rest, speciffically
