Was in town just overnight and wanted a hotel close to where the event was that we were attending. Got there around 8:30 PM. The person at the reception desk asked us to wait due to some issue with four guys who thought they had a reservation. We were kept waiting as one of the guys called his wife - discussions back and forth between the person at the desk and the golfer. We waited and waited. Then when he finally got to us, the person at the desk wasn't certain rooms were cleaned since only one housekeeping employee showed up for work. He left the desk to go check out rooms personally to see if they were cleaned, then ended up putting us in rooms he hadn't checked. We reserved two rooms. One was OK, but the one I was in, the television remote didn't work and based on how confusing check in was, we didn't call down to have someone come to the room to fix. The the dark room blind was broke with the chain lying on the window sill. Again, we felt like no use calling anyone. When we checked out, we reported both issues, but the person at the desk didn't seem to be concerned or even apologize, so we left. I have stayed at TRU's several times and this was not a very good experience.

Our kids loved that there was a hang out area off the lobby with all the games and pool table. The pool was wonderful! Room was clean and updated. Staff was always great.

Parking was easy. The woman at the front desk(I wish I remembered her name) was very nice. Very friendly and helpful. Our room was excellent, very clean and comfortable. I used the gym which was very clean and the equipment was in good shape and very up-to-date. we would definitely stay there again if coming through Columbus.
