The property was clean and well maintained. The design of the rooms is such that they are very noisy if you have a party in the room directly next to you. I could hear every word of every conversation when they were seated in their living room (it was my bedroom's wall). Otherwise, I liked the amenities; pool, hot tub, exercise room.

Great stay overall. Villas need updated badly. Still a very nice stay. Beds were comfortable. Staff were great albeit overworked and stretched thin. They deserve raises and huge thanks. They are the shining star of this stay. Parking was a huge pain. Worth the price we paid and would happily stay again.

A lovely report without all the resort fees! We loved all the amenities they offered, though we only used the pool. It was a lovely pool and hot tub. The mattress was a little too firm for me and our neighbors were a little too loud but other than that absolutely no complaints and will be staying there again in the future.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. I was disappointed in some of the facilities. Ice wasn’t readily available. The only working machine was at the pool. One of the hot tubs was cold and they never worked on it the whole stay. Others said they had been there awhile and it had never been warm. Towels were not always available at pool. Had to ask office to have some delivered. Rooms were not very soundproof. Often woken up by other guests and traffic. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

The pool, outdoor games, and seating outside near the pool was top notch. The interior of our room was a little shabby. The wallpaper in yhe bathroom was beginning to peel and the bathroom smelled.musty.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We love the privacy with not needing housekeeping everyday. Great to have the bbqs on site and the pool was very clean and quiet.

Nice place, we stayed for five days and had to ask for coffee each day. Clean towels were only given out once. The hot tub by the main pool heater did not work at all and was cold the entire time.

The location for ease of travel to local areas was perfect. Jamar and the other staff were all wonderful and extremely helpful. The real issue was in the cleanliness of the room. It was filthy. The floors looked to have not been cleaned in months and the layer of dust on things was visible alarming.

I have been staying here for year when I visit Mesa, Az. This time I was a little disappointed when I found German Roaches in my room. They wanted to treat the room with me in it. I might be looking for a new place to stay.

Very very clean rooms and spotless linens. I was so impressed earlier this week with my stay I came back for a few extra days! *I do want to acknowledge all the staff here, they are excellent and very helpful if there is a problem. I personally saw them catch a very large wolfhound/dog that some idiot guest left in their room all day unattended and the dog managed to open the door latch and escape. The staff caught the dog as I was headed for the busy road next door and hold it for hours bc the guest wasn’t answering their cell phone and the alternate number written on the dog’s harness was not in service. Those staff deserve a huge tip for saving that dog!

Overall property is okay but it has roaches and really need to clean the rooms better a room should smell really bad when you walk in the room I was in carpet was filthy I wouldn't walk on that dirty ass without shoes on and in the shower

Beautiful pool area. Very respectful staff. My only complaint would be the floors in the room looked clean, but they turned your feet black.

People not renting on property were grilling late at night, the room was gross- and I understand outdated and kinda old, that’s fine if it’s kept up, but woke up first morning and there was a bug crawling around in the bed, the floors didn’t look like they’d been cleaned in months, the dust on the night stands made me not want to even put my phone down. The dining table chairs were ripping and very cheap, no creamer or sugar for the coffee. The shampoo and conditioners were previously used, the tub knocked when you stepped in certain areas, the toilet was loose any time you got up from it- it would fall back.. and I’m a little person.. the patio table/chairs and area around was covered in bird crap, over all the place smelt musty.. property and surrounding grounds don’t look maintained enough to call it a “golf resort”.. the parking is ridiculous, as soon as I was done with check in I started to search for something else in the area that would be much cleaner and safer maybe with less convenient amenities but anything would have been better- the ladies at the front desk were nice, that’s about it.. as a girl getting away for the weekend and the men from the trailer park behind the property coming over to use the grills and staring I really didn’t feel very safe.. money wasted in my opinion- I won’t stay again:

This property is lovely and this is the second time we've booked a 2br villa for our family visit (we are from CA and we have family in Mesa/Chandler). A few general maintenance things which I did let the front desk know about at checkout that the floors weren't mopped when we checked in. My granddaughter's feet were filthy after walking around in the condo (she did not go outside barefoot, so it had to be the floors.) The ceiling fan in the B unit bedroom rattled - a lot. It might be nice to also have a hairdryer available. This is the first property I've ever stayed at that did not have one available. Other than that, it was lovely and we will book here again.

Room was extremely dirty. Jets in bathtub shower handle had black mold in it. Floor was dirty and didn’t look like it had been mopped in a few stays. Extremely noisy. Our one year old baby was woken up all night long by the people running around above us and guest walking past our window.

Only issue I had was no internet in my room 134b must be out of range I could walk across from my room and it was good but in my room no service and was a inconvenience since I’m out for work and needed to get emails and work stuff done!

Was given room 438B in Building 10. Very clean studio but very small for 2 people. Only one night stand and the toilet paper holder was broken(petty). Had small kitchen area with small dorm fridge and microwave and sink. Coffee maker was a plus and it came with 2 place setting of dinner and silverware. Coffee pot requires your own filters and coffee. It’s basically an upscale motel with outdoor entrances and balcony seating. Building 10 is closest to McKellips so the speed limit is 45 mph and traffic begins at 5am and it’s like a highway! Also, with 438B, it’s got a door to adjoining room and is by far from soundproof. A family of 5 were in the 438A which is a two bedroom suite with the living room being the adjoining. Kids and parents could be heard all morning and evening (not a problem for me but could be difficult for others if you get this room (438B). Other than that, they don’t have maid service every day - it’s a you call them if you need them soooo I had I piled up towels and should have taken the garbage out every couple of days. I’d stay again but not with a room that adjoins and not on the McKellips side of the buildings.

The Villa was very nice! The only issue was the Sofa pull out bed. Mattress was old and worn, thin, and could not be slept in comfortably, so we all slept on the King bed which was very comfortable.

The rooms were very spacious and clean. They had many amenities in the room, even a washer and dryer in my room. The staff was very friendly and quick to respond to any needs. The pool area was very nice, with 2 hot tubs. They even had life jackets for kids and adults. I would highly recommend this property.

It was good for the price. Check in isn’t until 4:00 but check out is 10:00 that was inconvenient. The room was a little outdated but still nice. The only problem I had was the thin walls. I could hear everything next door and they were still talking at 4:00 AM.

My 7th year staying at PMR. Have watched it go downhill the past several stays. This year stayed in a building that was renovated a few years ago. Bathroom cabinet coming apart. Bathroom sink stopper stuck in closed position. Shower door bar hanging by a thread. Water comes out of shower as a trickle. Black film covers floor of entire Villa. Soles of feet, shoes, and bath towel turned black. Confronted by a gentleman about smoking policy who I assumed was Security. Never introduced himself nor did he wear an ID badge. Very rude and unprofessional. Was informed by another employee that he was Security. My last stay at Westgate's Painted Mountain Resort unless major changes are made. SAD

Booked 2 rooms, arrived & only given 1 room. Told they had 2 rooms for guests that had not shown up yet and it was now after there 11pm checkin cutoff and still would not give us the other room. Had to find another hotel 30 minutes away at last minute at almost midnight.

Room wasn’t ready until 10pm, lady said we could check out late … at 11:45 they were knocking on our door wanting us out or we had to pay $30 fee. Not okay. However the room was absolutely amazing! VERY spacious & cozy. Had dishes, amazing jetted tub & a washer & dryer. Crappy check in, poor customer service but once you are finally let in your room, we loved it. We will probably risk it and stay here again. Great pool area also. Very clean, well maintained.

One of the worst experiences that I have had in a very long time. The reception/check-in staff was rude and told me that they couldn't find my Prepaid reservation from Hotels.com and charged me in full again. Which took them almost an hour to resolve. Then when we checked in the room the front desk gave of the wrong room, then told us to go to the other side and they would meet us with the correct keycard, in the end, it was the room right next door to the one we had already checked in. Then the room had marks on the walls and the bathroom shower needed repairs, the shower handle was broken. The coffee maker was molded and rusted out with old coffee on the top. The refrigerator was NOT cold, spoiled our food. The main reason we wanted that room was the Jaquzzi which didn't work. I asked for the manager 3 times while on the property and another time when we checked out, and I was told they were not on the property and would call me. I called another 4 times no call, and it has been a week. I even tried calling the corporate office, no help

I stayed on a weeknight, so I was surprised to be placed in a room right next to the street when quieter options were likely available. Morning noise from traffic made it difficult to rest, which was disappointing. When I asked the front desk if there was a way to charge my phone, the staff was somewhat dismissive. I was told to go to a nearby Circle K and was given no real assistance. When I asked if the room had a USB port, I was told I’d need to go elsewhere or purchase something. USB charging is a basic convenience nowadays, and it's surprising this wasn’t available. I ended up going to Walmart to buy a wall plug just to use my regular iPhone cord—which felt unnecessary & frustrating. The room looked okay at first glance but was clearly rundown upon closer inspection. There were patched-up areas and a general lack of deep cleaning. The worst part was discovering urine in the toilet upon arrival, which made the experience feel unclean from the start. I also asked the day before if I could have a later checkout since it was 10 a.m. & I’m used to 11 a.m. checkouts. I explained we had a reservation at noon, and the staff told me to text at 8 a.m. the next morning. I was ultimately granted a 30-minute extension, which I appreciated—but it felt unnecessarily complicated. Overall, I left disappointed. I’ve had better experiences at more basic hotels for a lower price. This stay didn’t feel worth the cost and left a lot to be desired in terms of service and comfort.

Great property close to freeways and restaurants in Mesa. Property is well kept for an established property. Enjoyed the pool, courts, ping pong and bbq area. Reasonable price with friendly staff.

Was given room 438B in Building 10. Very clean studio but very small for 2 people. Only one night stand and the toilet paper holder was broken(petty). Had small kitchen area with small dorm fridge and microwave and sink. Coffee maker was a plus and it came with 2 place setting of dinner and silverware. Coffee pot requires your own filters and coffee. It’s basically an upscale motel with outdoor entrances and balcony seating. Building 10 is closest to McKellips so the speed limit is 45 mph and traffic begins at 5am and it’s like a highway! Also, with 438B, it’s got a door to adjoining room and is by far from soundproof. A family of 5 were in the 438A which is a two bedroom suite with the living room being the adjoining. Kids and parents could be heard all morning and evening (not a problem for me but could be difficult for others if you get this room (438B). Other than that, they don’t have maid service every day - it’s a you call them if you need them soooo I had I piled up towels and should have taken the garbage out every couple of days. I’d stay again but not with a room that adjoins and not on the McKellips side of the buildings.

The room and facility were modern and nice. Busy road but I was on the back side so little road noise. The only major complaint is the very thin walls. You can literally hear the people talk, their exact words, in the next room. To dround out the noise, keep the HVAC fan running continuously at night. Bed was mediocre in comfort. A grocery store, donut shop and breakfast place (near grocery store) is walking distance to the right, about 4 blocks away. The rating of 8/10 is about right due to the bed and thin walls.

The room is old and has the smallest tv. The walls are super thin and I could hear everything from my neighbor. The wifi was inconsistent and will turn off. The ice machine was far from the room. The room service they provided is the worst and it’s Uber eats and they took over an hour for food and they forgot the drink and had to deal with the company the resort uses. The pictures for the pool are very incorrect. I wanted a late check out but I had to wait until the day I checked out and call at 7am but nobody answered and waited on the line for 15 minutes. When I went to check out nobody was at the front desk and waited 10 minutes and just dropped off the keys.

What an incredibly relaxing place to stay and very budget, friendly, especially for an entire one bedroom apartment with a full living room, dining room and kitchen. The bed was super comfortable and everything was top-notch. Oh, and INCREDIBLY GOOD PIZZA!

I was a single woman staying at the property and felt very safe. It would be nice if there was cream and sugar in the room to go along with the coffee. The front desk was always very cordial and helpful.

I don’t get it. No sign on the street and down a little alley. Complete kitchen appliances but not even a glass, a plate or a fork. No coffee maker or coffee or breakfast.

Clean rooms, though a little hard to get past table to restroom, large showers, washer and dryer available, kitchen stocked with utensils, plates, the morning we checked in was the best staff of any hotel we’ve stayed in, pool and hot tub were great, even with the 113 degree weather

The only real issue I had was the noise coming from the adjacent suite. The door between the rooms is just a standard room door. I could hear the neighbors up very early and prepping everything in their kitchen. Other than that, everything was great.
