Actually alright and staff always available and curious. Pool was empty, was very difficult to find a place during the eclipse weekend. Only available one night had to stay at much worse place it was scary place the other hotel. Was glad to have forest inn .

I reserved a deluxe, king bed room. The lady gave me a key to a two queen bed room. She did not say anything, until I came back from checking the room. She said "there was not a king room available". I tried to cancel my reservation and she said I had to do it thru Expedia. I left and tried to cancel my reservation. The manager came out and said she traded me with another couple. I should have left anyway. Advertises a swimming pool. The pool was empty. The ceiling above the shower was falling in. Two, two small bath towels. Afraid to use the coffee pot. There was not a lock on the outside doors. I asked if she locked the doors at night. She said "no, she has security". Every window had mold around the air conditioners. The free shampoo and lotion bottles were empty. There was a big HD tv in the room.

The lady at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and friendly (I wish I had gotten her name to give her proper credit). The hotel is aging, but looks like it was once very nice. Now has typical wear and tear you'd expect. Looks like management is scrimping and saving where ever possible... No frills. But for a reasonably priced place to stay it was just fine. However: And this is not a complaint about the HOTEL, but I'll never use EXPEDIA again! Somehow, in the process of reserving my room online, THE DATE GOT SWITCHED. And there was no refund or rescheduling allowed by Expedia! (I called them and tried.) Go to hell Expedia! This is the last time I'll ever use your #@$¶ website EVER again! Extremely inconvenient!!!! Are you reading this review on Expedia? Take my advice and call and book your room with the hotel directly! Mention the price you're seeing online and I'll bet you get the exact same rate, and you can verify the date and room is correct.

This place is old, which is ok. There’s not much that can be done about that, but there are things that could be done to make it nicer. There are holes in the carpet, wall holes that haven’t been properly repaired, a bathroom door that has the top layer of wood board coming off, and other issues. There was wadded up toilet paper stuffed in the peephole, hair all over the shower wall, and lots of mildew in the shower tile. Plus, the whole place smells bad. There is a mix off smoke odor, animal odor, and other malodors.

Friendly and helpful staff, easy check in, great value, convenient, smelled nice, appeared mostly clean, furniture was in good shape, tv worked great, ac/heat worked great, coin laundry/snacks/exercise equipment/coffee/atm on site, pool on site-but not in currently working order, parking sufficient, close interstate/shopping/food. Could use some updates/refreshing, bathtub super old looking/cracked/rusted on bottom, tile somewhat smashed in, sink drained very slowly, shower curtain not washed and stuck together at bottom, toilet ran a while, bathroom plug clearly had caught fire at one point, fridge was not cleaned out at all and had some sort of brown liquid in the bottom, workers were working on the room directly above all afternoon/evening until about 2am when we called the front desk and asked that they please stop for the night so we could get some sleep. Bring your own shampoo and soap!

The smell in our room was very musky. The room above us was so noisy you could not heard the tv. There were people in the parking area doing major work on their vehicles. The halls of this hotel smelled like an ash tray.

The hotel was disgusting, smelled like dog and cigarettes. The sheets had cigarette burns and was very dingy or dirty. The exit door was off it hinges and hall way entry carpet was beyond nasty. Left knowing that expedia would not refund . Would never stay at Rest Inn and will no longer book through Expedia.

Unfortunately the photos look nothing like the actual room. Very dirty and the bed had hair on the sheets. There were holes in the walls and the tub was dirty and stained. The carpets in the miter were extremely dirty and they smelled of urine and animals…. The staff was nice but that was about all that was nice…

You get what you pay for. The beds were clean and bug free. However the bathroom didnt gave a vent and you could see the mold growing over the shower head. There was one healthy cockroach that i seen right before i left. But i guess its great for those who dont mind the company. Other than that, i slept fine and would recommend if youre on a budget.

I booked a nonsmoking room and was given a room that was very clearly smoked in frequently. The refrigerator was absolutely filthy. The hallways stunk. It was hard to sleep because of the barking large dogs in the surrounding rooms. The grounds were littered with cigarette butts. Very disappointing stay considering this location was given good ratings.

Had bed bugs, mold in the bathroom all over, a moldy coffee bag in the coffee machine. When told the front desk immediately after we saw a bed bug in the sink, she had hardly any reaction making me think this happens often and they might not do anything about it. We asked for a refund and they were very adamant about not being able to give us one until we ask to call a manager. I know this place likes to respond rudely but we have pictures and video of these bed bugs and tons of bites.

Very dirty, was able to write the stuff word disgust in the soap scum in the tub. All mirrors and pictures were covered in fly poop or spit smears. Microwave hasnt been clean since the day it was unboxed. Fridge had black mold and rust. Dirt on the floors, dirty sink and comforter smelled worse than a gym locker room.

Booked for business. Got to room and immediately turned around and left. Absolutely disgusting! Roaches on the floor, bugs on the bed and vomit on the carpet. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

This was the roughest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Things looked OK in the lobby. The floors were clean, and they decorated, however it reeked of cigarettes. My non-smoking room left all my clothes with a residual cigarette smell. The bathroom was musty, molding was missing in areas and the sheets although appeared to be clean had cigarette burn holes. At one point there was a police car out front so that resulted in me feeling even more unsafe.

I checked in after work, and was so tired I went straight to bed. I woke up in the morning and really noticed how bad it was! The room was so bad in need of repair. The front of the ac was falling off and didn’t work, the room was filthy, there was dirt in the bed, the fridge didn’t work and had mold in it, there were roaches, everything was stained of the towels and sheets down to the giant crusty spot on the bedspread. Cigarette burn holes and it reeked of smoke so bad, and it must be bad if it’s offensive to a smoker. I found a roach in the bed with me, and I literally packed my things and left immediately, and it was the day before I was even supposed to check out. Will never visit this place again, it’s mainly a weekly or long term rental place, it seems like. Dogs barking and kids yelling, it was crazy. I don’t even care about the money I lost leaving when I’d already paid for two nights. The only thing that was good, was the lobby is pretty nice, but once you hit the halls it’s a nightmare.

There was trash, and dirty socks shoved under the bed. The door didn't lock properly. The shower took ten minutes to heat up. The bed sheets had cigarette holes burned in them, even though it was a non-smoking room. And that's just the first things that come to mind.

I have stayed at many last option Hotels/Motels/Inn and not one of them was as Dirty as this Rest Inn location in Fort Smith. Hell many pieces of furniture throughout the room was broken or missing a part. Details the 2nd Hand office chair was missing an arm rest and all of the bedding linens, pillows, and chair cushions had holes & Worst of all many Unknown Stains on Walls and Furniture.

There was not a lock on the outside doors. I asked if she locked the doors at night. She said "no, she has security". Every window had mold around the air conditioners. The free shampoo and lotion bottles were empty. There was a big HD tv in the room.
I reserved a deluxe, king bed room. The lady gave me a key to a two queen bed room. She did not say anything, until I came back from checking the room. She said "there was not a king room available". I tried to cancel my reservation and she said I had to do it thru Expedia. I left and tried to cancel my reservation. The manager came out and said she traded me with another couple. I should have left anyway. Advertises a swimming pool. The pool was empty. The ceiling above the shower was falling in. Two, two small bath towels. Afraid to use the coffee pot. The smell in our room was very musky. The room above us was so noisy you could not heard the tv. There were people in the parking area doing major work on their vehicles. The halls of this hotel smelled like an ash tray.

Front desk staff are great the 2 girls work so hard but the property needs renovation with updates badly can̈t clean that carpets need replaced air conditioner heat wouldn't work microwave and fridge were so old it was gross not something you can clean but had to stay here ðue to location but it will be my laßt for 60 bucķs iwhich is crazy and way overpriced for what you get i can get nicer motel just about anywhere for that

I was going to make some coffee in my room. A live roach was in back of it. Needless to say I didn't have coffee after that. Then I was in my room watching TV. My room door was opened with a key by a person who was told my room was empty! What the hell!! Of course a sign at the office said NO REFUNDS. HORRIBLE PLACE and very UNSAFE

First, you need to remove this hotel from your list. The OTHER REVIEWS WERE ALLLL LIES. They could not find my reservation, when I showed on my phone, then, they tried to recharge me when i had paid online.The room was never cleaned, there was a pizza box under the bed, water was leaking onto the floor when we would shower, ants and roaches alll over the room. The shower was so dirty we had to place a towel on the floor of the tub to shower. When i asked for towels, I colud not get them until 11 o'clock that night, the desk clerk did not have access to the keys. The other desk clerk said he was really the maintenance man, his clothes were so dirty ,i dont think he had a bath for 10 days. On the website it said hot breakfast, that was a lie. I wouldnt have eaten it if they did have it.The carpet in the hallways are so dirty, and the carpet in the room smell of dog urine. I WILL BE REQUESTING MY MONIES BACK AND DISPUTING THESE CHARGES. The lady that checked us in was amazing and very efficient less than 5 min. I have 2 service dogs that the said was no charge. Which I was expecting to pay extra for atleast 1 of them. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Would recommend the Rest Inn to my friends and family and strangers.

It is a weekly/daily hotel with a very unsafe atmosphere. Very loud, people frying food in their rooms, and very dirty rooms. Would not stay again by myself, let alone with my family.

Mom & daughter traveling through to another town. Pictures led me to believe this was a decent hotel. It’s not. It was a drug user type motel. My 11 year old daughter was terrified walking down the hallway due to the creepy stares from other guests that I believe to be living there. Smelled of old cigarettes and marijuana. Hairs in the made up bed. Window was cracked and taped back together. Held shut by a broken off broom handle. Heard a man yelling outside our window in the middle of the night. Dogs next to us barked all night long-due to the man hollering outside. Would not have stayed if we weren’t so tired. Got in late and left early. Would’ve gotten better rest and felt safer sleeping in the car at a truck stop. Front desk staff was very sweet. Lots of working man type trucks that made me feel a tiny bit safer. Slept with a makeshift weapon in my hand.

Friendly and helpful staff, easy check in, great value, convenient, smelled nice, appeared mostly clean, furniture was in good shape, tv worked great, ac/heat worked great, coin laundry/snacks/exercise equipment/coffee/atm on site, pool on site-but not in currently working order, parking sufficient, close interstate/shopping/food. Could use some updates/refreshing, bathtub super old looking/cracked/rusted on bottom, tile somewhat smashed in, sink drained very slowly, shower curtain not washed and stuck together at bottom, toilet ran a while, bathroom plug clearly had caught fire at one point, fridge was not cleaned out at all and had some sort of brown liquid in the bottom, workers were working on the room directly above all afternoon/evening until about 2am when we called the front desk and asked that they please stop for the night so we could get some sleep. Bring your own shampoo and soap!

The front staff was great. The room had dirty areas with ashes , smelled of smoke through the night as other rooms smoked, stained sheets, missing items noted on the hotel add. The place is ran down by the extended stay individuals. Got very little sleep due to other individuals making lots of noise through the night.

The lobby smelled like cigarette smoke. My room had a smell of cigarettes, so it’s obvious a lot of their employees smoke and that is gross. The drain in the bathroom was very slow. I would not recommend this place.

I have become a regular at this hotel due to being homeless. I will say this they have the best staff they're always very nice and accommodating and prompt with your requests. in the past 2months I have probably stayed 14 nights 2 days to 5. overall it is about three hotel. the last visit was incredibly disappointing. I would think as a regular they would accommodate me in the better rooms because I know there's better rooms cuz I've been in one instead the last two visits have been disappointing neither visit neither room had a safety latch on it that's very important to me I want to feel like I am locked in due to the clientele at this hotel isn't the best,there's a lot of extended stay people and individuals that are living there on a day-to-day basis. Both stays the rooms I was in the last two stays neither room had an ashtray or a trash can this past stay none of the lamps had bulbs. ? and one of my most important things is I need my blinds to open and close neither room with the blinds open or close both of the windows were just hanging there letting all this hot air in anyway I might give it to two and a half the last two stays. I will be going back though.
