The place was very clean. The location was perfect, exactly what we wanted. We were there for 10 days. We LOVED the place, but it's not really set up for longer stays like this. It needs some better cookware; even with cooking oil & butter, EVERYTHING burned in the pans as they were not nonstick. With a 10 day stay, it would have been nice to have had some bleach spray & a broom or mop to clean up a bit for ourselves halfway through. They did bring us fresh towels & sheets, but that's a long time to go without the floors being swept. We would have been happy to do it ourselves if we had the broom or mop. It's also not a great long-term place to stay if you want to cook any meals yourself. There were a few pots & pans but only a microwave & cooktop. It could really use a toaster oven too. We never used the pool because the filter wasn't working & there was no skimmer. My wife refused to get in because it had a lot of stuff (including a dead frog) floating on top. The views out the back were amazing! Lot's of nature, quiet & private. We would walk down to the ocean every morning; around 2.7 miles round trip. We asked for a coffee pot & some chairs for the beach & they got us some. I am listing all the pro's & con's but I want to be clear, the hosts were SUPER nice people, & we really loved the place. With a bit better setup in the kitchen & a few minor cleaning supplies & a pool skimmer, we'd definitely rent it again next year for a full month. Thanks for a great stay!

The Cozy Casita was a God send for us! We got stranded due to the airspace closure on Jan 3rd. This by far was the best value on the island! We stayed here 5 nights (before getting a flight home) The cabins are very cute and were very clean. Each cabin is situated in a way that it is very private. These are perfect for couples. They are small. I do not think they're a good fit for families with kids. The plunge pools are perfect for cooling off. some things you need to know: if you stay here you need a car. You are not close to the beaches, There are not any restaurants close enough to walk to. There is a grocery store close by. The kitchens are perfect for cooking light meals and there is a full size refrigerator. AC works great. The owner Miss Joan and her family built the casitas. The cabins sit behind their residence. She is so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. She even made us cake one night. The area is residential and is safe. Once you pull in your parking spot and walk onto the deck you'll see why we loved this place! If you are expecting a hotel or resort, go stay at one. If you want a quiet getaway where no one will disturb you, this is the place.

Cozy Casitas is the perfect place to stay for a quiet getaway away from the hustle and bustle. If you want to be in a cute casita in a safe area, this is the place for you. Surrounded by cactus and fresh air, you can enjoy cooking at "home," or take your rental car for a short drive to many great restaurants. Joani, your host, is lovely, as is their sweet dog, Bluey. Joani even has a grill you can use. If the casita doesn't have something you need, there is a store just down the road. The best part is the outdoor space with a deck, chairs, and your very own private plunge pool. This casita was exactly what I needed!
