My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and it was an amazing experience. The resort is right on the San Marcos River, a prime spot to float and enjoy the water. The pool is awesome and the bar is full service. The service from the staff as well as Max and Mel was phenomenal and second to none. The cabin was nice and had every amenity imaginable. While speaking with Max, the future plans of the resort made us excited to return in the future. We for sure will be coming back!

Melrose River Club exceeded our expectations. The classic cabin we stayed in was very clean with a cool retro vibe. The property itself was very well kept. Our favorite part was the easy access to the river. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Was a great stay for our anniversary trip. The cabin was spacious and very homey. We didn't want to leave. The pool was great and a great atmosphere on the property. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The bed was one of the most relaxing and comfortable beds we have had anywhere we stayed. Would go back again anytime we go to san marcos.

Perfect for our anniversary getaway. They are very attentive and cabin was so perfectly prepared for our stay. Pool and bar were quiet and everyone extremely friendly. Super close to town for dinner and evening out.

Spotless. The bed quality was amazing, the split AC unit was so great. The water Pressure was amazing. Parking right outside the unit. I noticed that the unit had an outdoor shower, which would be great if you use the pool, or access to the river. I know this is a new facility so check it out.

Property is beautiful, pool was great, casitas were cozy. We had a lovely time and will definitely return. We had a few hiccups but staff was accommodating and very prompt with fixing the issues. The first hiccup was the breaker blew, they were very prompt in coming out and flipping that for us. The other hiccup was we wanted a refresh for our casita but it was forgotten but the staff came over at 8 pm and brought us towels and chocolates, this was very nice of them. The overall vibe was excellent. Very friendly staff. I would highly recommend staying here.

The tiny home was cute, clean, and practical. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were so thick they hurt my neck. We found that the living room gets very cold but not the bedroom. Overall great stay!

I really enjoyed the stay .. I will however say there was no chairs to sit on .. only the bed which is not ideal .. Plus not TV .. last the WiFi was bad and I could not even response to any messages or email at all .. pool and bar were awesome ..

This property was perfect!! The people were extremely kind! My husband and I stayed in the smallest container they had and it was just right for what we needed. I do wish there had been a chair for sitting and drinking coffee or even just to put your shoes on. Haha! Next time we will get a bigger place! I truly like that there were people on site in case you needed anything. The owner Max has really made this property one that you will go back to!!

This is a cute and unique property with several cabins and container housing options. I stayed in a container cabin and it was great for one person. It may be tight for two but it was super cute and well designed. I didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool or river but it looks like a great place to enjoy the sun and water.

This is our second stay at Melrose river club in the same year we LOVE IT They do a Text system to ask for things and they are ON IT! Such a great property and staff ! Only small complaint is the bed is a bit hard for my taste some deep cushiony mattress pads would solve that ! We love it here and will continue to stay if we are in San Marcus :)

Melrose River Club really went above and beyond to help celebrate my post-chemo celebration! To the upgraded cabin, the champagne and balloon garland! It really made me feel special and celebrated! The place is absolutely inviting and so tranquil.

The other hiccup was we wanted a refresh for our casita but it was forgotten but the staff came over at 8 pm and brought us towels and chocolates, this was very nice of them. The overall vibe was excellent. Very friendly staff. I would highly recommend staying here.

Was a great stay for our anniversary trip. The cabin was spacious and very homey. We didn't want to leave. The pool was great and a great atmosphere on the property. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The bed was one of the most relaxing and comfortable beds we have had anywhere we stayed. Would go back again anytime we go to san marcos.

Perfect for our anniversary getaway. They are very attentive and cabin was so perfectly prepared for our stay. Pool and bar were quiet and everyone extremely friendly. Super close to town for dinner and evening out.

This is our second stay at Melrose river club in the same year we LOVE IT They do a Text system to ask for things and they are ON IT! Such a great property and staff ! Only small complaint is the bed is a bit hard for my taste some deep cushiony mattress pads would solve that ! We love it here and will continue to stay if we are in San Marcus :)

Melrose River Club exceeded our expectations. The classic cabin we stayed in was very clean with a cool retro vibe. The property itself was very well kept. Our favorite part was the easy access to the river. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

I liked the location and the alternative “room type.” I also liked the privacy and ability to sit outside and enjoy the natural environment of San Marcos, TX. I did not like that the location of my reservation was so close to the the roadway that you could hear busy traffic.

The location is perfect the size of our cabin was very spacious. Loved being able to walk down to the River and lobby staff was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and it was an amazing experience. The resort is right on the San Marcos River, a prime spot to float and enjoy the water. The pool is awesome and the bar is full service. The service from the staff as well as Max and Mel was phenomenal and second to none. The cabin was nice and had every amenity imaginable. While speaking with Max, the future plans of the resort made us excited to return in the future. We for sure will be coming back!

I really enjoyed the stay .. I will however say there was no chairs to sit on .. only the bed which is not ideal .. Plus not TV .. last the WiFi was bad and I could not even response to any messages or email at all .. pool and bar were awesome ..

We enjoyed our stay at the Melrose. Such a fun and unique property. We enjoyed the bar area by the pool. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The tiny home was cute, clean, and practical. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were so thick they hurt my neck. We found that the living room gets very cold but not the bedroom. Overall great stay!

My family absolutely loved it. We had such a great time. The cabins are clean. They had towels and a bag for you to go down to the river. The pool was clean and the staff was awesome. Can’t say how impressed I am. I’m already planning my next trip.

Melrose River Club located next to other trailer parks. Basically it is a park of manufactured units and cabins that are tricked out. Know that going in. We stayed in a manufactured unit which they call a cabin. It was spacious and well decorated. The bathroom was decent size, a three piece. Decent size kitchen with everything you need. Siting area with TV and a porch with two chairs. The mattress, on the other hand, had been well used and is time for a replacement. AC is a large split located in the living room and doesn’t reach the bedroom so it was rather warm in the summer heat. Ask for a fan in advance of staying. They ran out once we checked in. There is a building where the lobby is located and the staff. One cool thing—there’s a champagne machine in the lobby with a good champagne. The pool was awesome but crowded because it was so hot. Would I stay here again? Yes, it’s different and fun. Adult camp.

We absolutely loved our stay! The pool was our favorite spot to relax, and being right on the river made the location so peaceful and quiet. The beautiful walking trail was an added bonus, and we hardly experienced any bugs at all. The staff was so friendly, and the pool bar was icing on the cake. So amazing that we truly didn’t want to leave. We’ll definitely be back!

My wife and I spent 4 days at Melrose for our 27th anniversary. The stay was wonderful. The staff is amazing. We really felt that Cody, the manager, treated us like family. Highly recommend. Great for couples.
