we are both in our late 70s and early 80s We were not prepared for the degree of understanding how all the appliances work was a handicap. We were not able to cook on the stove as too complicated to work out. the microwave was also too advanced and a friend on wednesday night showed us how to use the coffee machine. We found the house very cold but fortunately my husband was able to use the heater in the lounge room. I think that to be comfortable in this time of year there needs to be other heating appliance.Pet let responded to our questions about no hot water ad the plumber came the evening of the day i reported it.Our dog Orlando a little moodle had the best time He loved his holiday it was great for him

Everything about this immaculately kept home was instantly relaxing. The biggest highlight for us on our month-long canine-cation was the huge backyard with long grass and large undercover area. Our best mate loved it. The beds were comfortable and warm, the lounge area was comfortable and TV had that extra cable already available which everyone wants to plug into their laptop! The kitchen was very large and provided ample room to make our breakfasts and cook our meals. The coffee machine was great. We spent a lot of time locally around the Victor Harbor area but a fair bit of our break we ended up in Adelaide itself, and in the Hills, and up to the Barossa as well. We found all of the nearby hamlets like Strathalbyn and Mt Compass to be hidden gems. There to be discovered. All of it is simple driving. And if you’re coming from the eastern states, try the B45 from Tailem Bend to Strathalbyn - including the ferry crossing at Wellington. That was a fun little adventure we added on the way home. To load the car onto a barge was something I didn’t quite think I would be doing on the trip but there you go.
