Beautiful accommodation. Easily walkable to everywhere with the bonus of parking. Fantastic, big room (10). Lovely decor very large comfy bed. Lovely toiletries. And obviously, the free standing bath to relax in. Breakfast was really good. Cooked too perfection. Best poached eggs ever. Thank you both, there's nothing negative to say. We would absolutely recommend it.

When you see reviews that say 10/10 Exceptional, half of you doesn't quite believe, the sceptic in me certainly didn't. But I was blown away by this hotel. Chris and Caroline were exceptionally friendly, the Hawkstone beer was a treat and breakfast was superb. The hotel was immaculate and Ideally located for town. Perfect. My only disappointment was that they are fully booked for when I return in September.

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our short stay at Ravilious in early April, 2025. Chris and Caroline make all their guests feel so welcome and were so helpful with local knowledge and dining recommendations. The Hotel is superb….a lovely traditional Eastbourne property but with all the modern accessories you could need. Breakfast was delicious freshly cooked food and with so much choice. Parking near the hotel is so easy - either in the free parking or if needs be using a daily permit. Thank you Chris and Caroline….we can’t wait to return.

Very good location for both sea and town, easy parking albeit at a small cost, very friendly hosts and an excellent breakfast. Stairs to our room provided our daily cardiac exercise. Will happily visit again if we return to the area.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Room was beautiful, with added bonus of sofa and reclining chair making the room a home from home. Excellent position 5 mins from seafront and Congress Theatre. Wonderful breakfast, lovely bar area for a night cap if needed, Chris & Caroline are perfect hosts, warm and friendly. Can not recommend highly enough.

From the moment we walked in the door we were amazed at how lovely this hotel was. We were greeted by our hosts who were so friendly and helpful and showed us to our room. We had one of the two attic rooms. The room was immaculate, well decorated and so clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom again was really clean and fresh and my husband who rates rooms by their showers was really happy. There was tea and coffee as would be expected but biscuits and a very scrummy chocolate marshmallow was also provided. Bottled water too ( we usually take our own so this was good to know for future reference). The room also had its own ironing board and iron and also hairdryer. We also noted a fan should the weather be hot. For breaksfast (which was included) there was a choice of pastries, yoghurts,cereals, fruit as well as traditional breakfasts. The traditional cooked breakfast was delicious. My husband had this and I had the vegetarian option which was equally delicious. We can't praise our hosts enough. The whole stay (albeit only one night as we were seeing a show and didnt want to drive home late at night) was brilliant and we will definitely be staying there again and will definitely recomend it to our friends and family. Cannot say enough good things about Ravilious, Definitely one of the best smaller properties we have had the pleasure to stay in! (And we travel a lot) The hosts are fantastic & friendly with great knowledge of the local area. Breakfast is a real treat and do delicious with great choices. The Bar is excellent too and Chris makes the BEST cocktails. The Building itself it beautifully and the inside has been really well designed and decorated. If you are in Eastbourne this is the place to stay. a real treat.

Another lovely stay at this charming hotel. Chris & Caroline are the perfect hosts, and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The rooms are immaculately clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious, and beautifully presented. The location is perfect for access to the seafront, shops, theatres, restaurants/cafes and walks up to Beachy Head and beyond. Definitely recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at Ravilious – Chris and Caroline are warm, welcoming and helpful hosts. It was the perfect base for exploring Eastbourne and the surrounding countryside. Our room was spotlessly clean, stylish, and very comfortable. Breakfasts were outstanding with so much choice, including vegetarian options, and all beautifully prepared and delicious. We also really appreciated the local restaurant recommendations, which were spot on. We would highly recommend a stay here and hope to visit again soon.

This is our second stay at The Ravilious and we were not disappointed.This gorgeous B & B stands out from all the rest. The owners Chris and Caroline were extremely welcoming and informative. The rooms and communal areas are tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. The breakfast is tasty and freshly cooked, two of our party had full breakfast which they enjoyed , someone else had scrambled egg which they raved about, and I myself had omelette both mornings and it was delicious. The property is in a fantastic location for a flat walk to the beach & pier & town centre. Please do not hesitate to book your stay, you will not be disappointed.,

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ravilious. The hotel is lovely, well located, the room was expertly decorated, very comfortable, and very clean. Breakfast was excellent as well and the hosts gracious. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful ! My husband and I stayed for one night at The Ravillious and we will definitely be going back ! We had a wonderful warm and friendly welcome from the hosts . Booked this with my girlfriend for an overnight stay near the coast. Cant reccomend highly enough. Chris and Christine were so friendly and helpful, and made our stay great. The room was a great size, came with all the necessary things for a stay, and a really comfortable bed! Breakfast was fantastic with a good selection, and the location meant we were within a 5 minute walk of the beach. Would really recommend to anyone wanting a stay in Eastbourne.

We were going to stay at one of the famous seafront hotels but having read good reviews we decided to stay at Ravilious. We are really pleased we did! Room was amazing, very spacious, clean, great facilities and beautifully designed. The hosts are really nice people, attentive to our needs and very welcoming. The breakfast was great, all cooked to order and to a very high standard. All in all, a great stay and would thoroughly recommend

We had a fantastic stay at Ravilious – Chris and Caroline are warm, welcoming and helpful hosts. It was the perfect base for exploring Eastbourne and the surrounding countryside. Our room was spotlessly clean, stylish, and very comfortable. Breakfasts were outstanding with so much choice, including vegetarian options, and all beautifully prepared and delicious. We also really appreciated the local restaurant recommendations, which were spot on. We would highly recommend a stay here and hope to visit again soon.

Contact with the hotel prior to our stay was helpful, resolving an issue. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were helped with our luggage. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast menu had a good variety and breakfast was nicely cooked. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would certainly return.

Just loved our stay here; the room was spacious and comfortable and had all the amenities that one could wish for. The hosts were amazing, helpful, fun and went over and above to ensure our stay was memorable. Breakfast was copious and delicious. I hope I have another occasion to visit Eastbourne so I can book this hotel again! Thank you Caroline and Chris!

Absolutely wonderful stay. Room was beautiful, with added bonus of sofa and reclining chair making the room a home from home. Excellent position 5 mins from seafront and Congress Theatre. Wonderful breakfast, lovely bar area for a night cap if needed, Chris & Caroline are perfect hosts, warm and friendly. Can not recommend highly enough.

Excellent hosts who ensured that your stay was comfortable, professionally managed, but above all, friendly. The breakfast menu was first class and cooked there and then with nothing too much trouble. We would thoroughly recommend this venue for all the foregoing reasons and access to sea front, shops and railway station. Just excellent.

From the moment we walked in the door we were amazed at how lovely this hotel was. We were greeted by our hosts who were so friendly and helpful and showed us to our room. We had one of the two attic rooms. The room was immaculate, well decorated and so clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom again was really clean and fresh and my husband who rates rooms by their showers was really happy. There was tea and coffee as would be expected but biscuits and a very scrummy chocolate marshmallow was also provided. Bottled water too ( we usually take our own so this was good to know for future reference). The room also had its own ironing board and iron and also hairdryer. We also noted a fan should the weather be hot. For breaksfast (which was included) there was a choice of pastries, yoghurts,cereals, fruit as well as traditional breakfasts. The traditional cooked breakfast was delicious. My husband had this and I had the vegetarian option which was equally delicious. We can't praise our hosts enough. The whole stay (albeit only one night as we were seeing a show and didnt want to drive home late at night) was brilliant and we will definitely be staying there again and will definitely recomend it to our friends and family. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Another lovely stay at this charming hotel. Chris & Caroline are the perfect hosts, and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The rooms are immaculately clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious, and beautifully presented. The location is perfect for access to the seafront, shops, theatres, restaurants/cafes and walks up to Beachy Head and beyond. Definitely recommended.

Ravilious was a great find! Fabulously well appointed, spacious room with excellent service from Chris (sorry we didn't get to meet Caroline!). It was conveniently located close to the centre of town, restaurants and the promenade. Breakfast was well prepared and tasty. We will be back!

Quiet location with a short walk to town centre and beach front. Lovely hosts, very welcoming. Comfy room, I overslept!! Decent shower and a lovely breakfast. Can't fault it.

Beautiful accommodation. Easily walkable to everywhere with the bonus of parking. Fantastic, big room (10). Lovely decor very large comfy bed. Lovely toiletries. And obviously, the free standing bath to relax in. Breakfast was really good. Cooked too perfection. Best poached eggs ever. Thank you both, there's nothing negative to say. We would absolutely recommend it.

We were going to stay at one of the famous seafront hotels but having read good reviews we decided to stay at Ravilious. We are really pleased we did! Room was amazing, very spacious, clean, great facilities and beautifully designed. The hosts are really nice people, attentive to our needs and very welcoming. The breakfast was great, all cooked to order and to a very high standard. All in all, a great stay and would thoroughly recommend

I had a wonderful time at Ravillious! I was only there for one night but the owners were incredibly kind and attentive from the moment I walked into the building. The room was spacious and facilities were clean/ useful. The breakfast was lovely and I was met with a beaming smile as soon as I walked into the room. It was also a brilliant location as it was right by the beach and near the theatre I was going to. I would definitely come again in the future. It couldn’t have been more perfect! 10/10
