The bubbles are located up a short hill in the forest, the service hut is excellent - very clean, warm and facilities to make hot drinks, greeted by friendly host who explained how to get up to the bubble. They felt very private once we were there as they were a good distance away from each other. They had heated mattresses and we stayed in October and it was cold even with the mattress but we came prepared for this with extra layers. It really is a once in a lifetime experience we amazingly had a clear night so were able to stargaze seeing shooting stars through the roof of the bubble and to top it off we saw the aurora too. It’s an experience and we would highly recommend it but pack warm clothes if going in the winter!

We spent our first night in Iceland at the Buubble Hotel and even though it was summer with no northern lights it was fun. The bubbles are well tucked into the trees so it felt private and we had eye shades (and we were exhausted) so sleeping was no problem. The heated mattress pads probably helped too! There is a walk up from the parking and the service house but there are also 2 nice bathrooms at the top near the bubbles.

Unique experience! You walk up a magical path through a forest of trees and little lights and fake candles to your designated bubble in its own secluded spot. The bed was comfy with beautiful extra wool blankets that we didn’t need because it was so warm inside! Looking up through the trees to the sky was amazing. There are clean toilets with sinks and mirrors halfway there too. In addition, there are more toilets and showers at the bottom of the path by the parking area where you check in. There is also a place to wash dishes if needed and get coffee and lots of towels for the shower. We were greeted when we arrived and left by four Icelandic horses and their foals next to the parking area. We were also greeted by very friendly staff upon our arrival and departure.

We had a fantastic night in the bubble hotel as we were lucky enough to withness the northern lights!!!! The bubble is very romantic and was a perfect end to an amazing holiday. Very secluded and only way other guest would see in is if they purposesly walked up our path. The shower facilities are down at the bottom hill where you park your car. But they have 2 toilets a few minutes walk from the bubble. Make sure you take a light with you. Pack a little bag to take the bubble for the night as once youre in the room you wont want to leave. We took a picnic. The beds are heated which was nice. But outside the bed it can be a bit cold. It is very peaceful and on a good night can see the stars. You can check in early if you resuest it.

The overall experience was definitely a must do when in Iceland. I highly recommend no more than a 1 night stay. It was a bit of a troop to get to our bubble in the winter experience. The bubble was warm with heated blankets and everything was clean upon our arrival. The only downside is they need to maintain the stairs and passage way cleaned so the walk to and from the room is easier and safe at night.

Facility was a bit different than I was expecting. At $400/ night I thought we were going to a luxury glamping experience. The actual Bubble was fun and warm. Bed very comfortable. However, the rest of the facilities were not as expected. The parking is quite a way from the Bubble. You also have to climb a long, steep stairway which is about 20 steps. There is no way to take your suitcase up those stairs, so grab what you need and just take that with you. Once at top of stairs, depending on which Bubble you are in it is another 100-150 yds. BATHROOM FACILITIES - leave alot to be desired. The main bathhouse is at the parking lot, so forget about using that one when you are at your Bubble. There are other toilets at top of stairs, but way to far to go if you need facilities in the middle of the night. At bathhouse in parking lot, there are two showers. There are 9 Bubbles so that is 18 people who need to bathe each morning. Luckily we were the first ones there. There is no where to wait why you are waiting for your turn. Everyone has there suitcases open by their cars trying to grab what they need for the showers. Showers are very tight, no room to prepare. If it was raining or snowing, this whole experience would be a mess. While in your Bubble there is a comfortable bed, but no where to sit but on your bed. Would be nice if there were a few chairs outside Bubble. No outdoor seating anywhere on property. So not even a bench anywhere to sit. Not a $400/night experience.

We really enjoyed the experience even though there wasn’t an aurora the night we stayed. We slept great and It was wonderful to wake up in the morning and see the forest around us. We were greeted by staff at the service house and shown the facilities which were clean and inviting then escorted to our buubble. The hike up the hill was a little strenuous but not bad, just enough to make you think twice about going back down the hill unless it was necessary. There was a clean restroom facility at the top of the hill which was extremely convenient. The buubble was heated and had individual mattress heaters, warm enough that we actually got hot during the night.

This accommodation was lovely experience to be closer to nature! It was definitely beautiful. I think it would have been cooler if we had more views or landscape to look out into. Otherwise, the bathrooms and room itself were very clean. The shared amenities were lovely and to use and clean as well! Definitely a cool experience. We also drove to Selfoss food hall and had some good food and ice cream that evening. :)

Special! Amazing! It was just as described! Be prepared to walk up a distance on the beautiful path. I would plan to pack a small bag with personal items if traveling with suitcases. The showers and restroom area (shared) were so clean and pleasant.

I was in other bubble hotels, but this one is the worst one ever! I honestly cannot understand how this place is even open for business. Calling it a “hotel” is a joke! -Filthy conditions: The bubble I stayed in was dirty from the start, with stains and dust everywhere. There were tears mended with glue or something. Clearly no proper cleaning is done between guests. Also cold - both electric mattresses didn’t work! - Shocking lack of facilities: Imagine 20+ guests with only 2 toilets to share — no hygiene, no comfort, just endless queues. Totally unacceptable. -False advertising: The pictures make it look like a magical experience, but in reality it felt more like a cheap camping ground that hasn’t been maintained in years. -Zero value for money: For the high price they charge, you expect at least basic cleanliness and functioning amenities. Instead, you get frustration and disgust. If you value your time, money, or health — do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs! I wish someone had warned me before booking!

Bubbles were not as private as I would expect. There are 60 steps up to the bubbles and I saw an older couple struggling to get to their bubble. That should be disclosed for disabled people. There was a limited view out of our bubble due to tree branches. Fun for a night but probably would not do again.

It was a very cool experience. Feels like being outside without the bugs and the cold.The bubble has no locks, it is just a couple of zippers so you can't leave anything there over the course of the day. Also, the zippers were stuck upon arrival and it was a little sketchy trying to force them open without feeling like I was going to break something. I was happy with the experience overall.

Loved this very unique stay! It was cozy and wonderful to wake up to seeing the trees overhead. It's a bit of steep walk from the car so just be prepared for that!

It was really a magical experience! The woods were like an old European forest and provided plenty of privacy. There was a short hike to get to the bubble though so pack light. We did have a problem where the heat went out, and it was unable to be fixed until the next morning. That really put a damper on my wife's stay, but the hosts were gracious and allowed a partial refund.

The bubbles are located up a short hill in the forest, the service hut is excellent - very clean, warm and facilities to make hot drinks, greeted by friendly host who explained how to get up to the bubble. They felt very private once we were there as they were a good distance away from each other. They had heated mattresses and we stayed in October and it was cold even with the mattress but we came prepared for this with extra layers. It really is a once in a lifetime experience we amazingly had a clear night so were able to stargaze seeing shooting stars through the roof of the bubble and to top it off we saw the aurora too. It’s an experience and we would highly recommend it but pack warm clothes if going in the winter!

Such a unique and amazing experience... our bubble was cozy and felt like we were the only people in the world! The women that checked us in was super funny and nice... and as a side note. . I booked thru hotels.com but accidentally booked for the wrong date (off by one day)... since it was 3rd party vendor i was told theres nothing that can be done ... After contacting resort... they totally switched my date and accommodated my mistake.... i still cant thank them enough!!!

Unique experience! You walk up a magical path through a forest of trees and little lights and fake candles to your designated bubble in its own secluded spot. The bed was comfy with beautiful extra wool blankets that we didn’t need because it was so warm inside! Looking up through the trees to the sky was amazing. There are clean toilets with sinks and mirrors halfway there too. In addition, there are more toilets and showers at the bottom of the path by the parking area where you check in. There is also a place to wash dishes if needed and get coffee and lots of towels for the shower. We were greeted when we arrived and left by four Icelandic horses and their foals next to the parking area. We were also greeted by very friendly staff upon our arrival and departure.

The Bubbles were one of my favorite parts of our Iceland trip! We only stayed for 1 night but regretted not staying longer. Highly recommend, this is an experience not just a place to stay and the staff was amazing We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful experience at the Bubble Hotel. Camilla and Andres were so welcoming and accommodating. Unfortunately we had bad weather and didn’t see the Northern Lights, but nonetheless the experience was so peaceful and nice. Camilla provided us with cups and things we needed for a picnic we packed, and made sure we were comfortable in our bubble. The common facilities were clean and warm. We definitely want to come back!

Bubbles were not as private as I would expect. There are 60 steps up to the bubbles and I saw an older couple struggling to get to their bubble. That should be disclosed for disabled people. There was a limited view out of our bubble due to tree branches. Fun for a night but probably would not do again.

This accommodation was lovely experience to be closer to nature! It was definitely beautiful. I think it would have been cooler if we had more views or landscape to look out into. Otherwise, the bathrooms and room itself were very clean. The shared amenities were lovely and to use and clean as well! Definitely a cool experience. We also drove to Selfoss food hall and had some good food and ice cream that evening. :)

This property was so unique and special! I stayed here with my 15 year old and it was so quiet, peaceful and different from the other hotels we stayed at during our visit to Iceland. The bed was very comfortable and the bubble so cool. We even had less than ideal weather with rain and fog but it was absolutely worth it. We brought our own food and drinks.

The property is beautiful and quiet. We love to see horse on the property when woke up and paid us a visit outside the tent. The tent itself is cozy and comfortable. Highly recommended for people visit Iceland.

We really enjoyed the experience even though there wasn’t an aurora the night we stayed. We slept great and It was wonderful to wake up in the morning and see the forest around us. We were greeted by staff at the service house and shown the facilities which were clean and inviting then escorted to our buubble. The hike up the hill was a little strenuous but not bad, just enough to make you think twice about going back down the hill unless it was necessary. There was a clean restroom facility at the top of the hill which was extremely convenient. The buubble was heated and had individual mattress heaters, warm enough that we actually got hot during the night.
We really enjoyed the experience even though there wasn’t an aurora the night we stayed. We slept great and It was wonderful to wake up in the morning and see the forest around us. We were greeted by staff at the service house and shown the facilities which were clean and inviting then escorted to our buubble. We had a fantastic night in the bubble hotel as we were lucky enough to withness the northern lights!!!! The bubble is very romantic and was a perfect end to an amazing holiday. Very secluded and only way other guest would see in is if they purposesly walked up our path. The shower facilities are down at the bottom hill where you park your car. But they have 2 toilets a few minutes walk from the bubble. Make sure you take a light with you. Pack a little bag to take the bubble for the night as once youre in the room you wont want to leave. We took a picnic. The beds are heated which was nice. But outside the bed it can be a bit cold. It is very peaceful and on a good night can see the stars. You can check in early if you resuest it.

Facility was a bit different than I was expecting. At $400/ night I thought we were going to a luxury glamping experience. The actual Bubble was fun and warm. Bed very comfortable. However, the rest of the facilities were not as expected. The parking is quite a way from the Bubble. You also have to climb a long, steep stairway which is about 20 steps. There is no way to take your suitcase up those stairs, so grab what you need and just take that with you. Once at top of stairs, depending on which Bubble you are in it is another 100-150 yds. BATHROOM FACILITIES - leave alot to be desired. The main bathhouse is at the parking lot, so forget about using that one when you are at your Bubble. There are other toilets at top of stairs, but way to far to go if you need facilities in the middle of the night. At bathhouse in parking lot, there are two showers. There are 9 Bubbles so that is 18 people who need to bathe each morning. Luckily we were the first ones there. There is no where to wait why you are waiting for your turn. Everyone has there suitcases open by their cars trying to grab what they need for the showers. Showers are very tight, no room to prepare. If it was raining or snowing, this whole experience would be a mess. While in your Bubble there is a comfortable bed, but no where to sit but on your bed. Would be nice if there were a few chairs outside Bubble. No outdoor seating anywhere on property. So not even a bench anywhere to sit. Not a $400/night experience.

Special! Amazing! It was just as described! Be prepared to walk up a distance on the beautiful path. I would plan to pack a small bag with personal items if traveling with suitcases. The showers and restroom area (shared) were so clean and pleasant.

El lugar muy bonito, sin embargo tiene sus inconvenientes, entra frío, el baño está fuera y retirado, el chek in es a las 17 hs y el chek out a las 10 AM lo que no da tiempo de disfrutar el lugar No hay personal de servicio solo quien nos recibió a la llegada Pero fue una bonita experiencia

Muy buen concepto, solo los baños están un poco lejos de la última burbuja. Fuera de eso completamente recomendable

Lugar extraordinario. Temperatura en la burbuja muy bien. Afuera lloviendo y con temperatura en -2 grados y adentro en 22 grados. Ojalá pudieran resolver tener WC más cerca de las burbujas.

This was THE coolest place to stay, our favorite place of our entire trip. I would 100%recommend The beds were so comfortable and clean, the surroundings were amazing, how could you not love waking up in a bubble in the middle of the forest. Loved loved it!

I only wish we’d spent more time here! This was truly a magical experience and the highlight of our Iceland trip, especially for my son. The bed was incredibly cozy, and falling asleep to the sound of the wind moving through the trees was so peaceful. We left our roller bags in the car and carried just a small overnight bag to the bubble since it’s a short walk. There’s a convenient kitchenette for filling water bottles, and we enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Dairy Food Hall about 15 minutes away. The heater warmed the bubble quickly, so we kept it on the cooler side overnight, which was perfect for sleeping. An eye mask was helpful since it stays light outside. Seeing baby horses playing right in front of our bubble absolutely made my son’s day. Thank you for an unforgettable experience—we’ll always treasure this memory!
