Checked in at 10:30 pm. Waited 15 minutes for night clerk to show up to check us in. Immediately discovered: 1. the pool was not available. 2. the only breakfast offered was coffee. 3. The $200 cash deposit might not be returned immediately in the morning (assuming we left the room undamaged). Neither Expedia nor the property website stated that the property was undergoing renovations. We would definitely not have booked here if this had been disclosed.

Well for starters we checked in late in the night so we were tired when we got in , but the next morning I just stared seeing stuff hair in the floor in the bathroom, the floor looked like it hadn’t been mopped . Didn’t get service just got fresh towels . Went to the pool an it was dirty the pool deck looked like it hadn’t been swept in a very long time spiders on the wall an floor cob webs everywhere hanging from the ceiling ,the cabinet in there that’s supposed to hold towels was dirty an mildew all over inside it , no towels . they were fixin the place up so it was under construction an the main hallway was closed , an we were told to stay out of there or you could be kicked out . A the coffee was terrible no sugar out there had to go to Tim Horton for coffee .The fitness room was closed , Next time I will call the hotel before we book to see if any thing is goin on .

I don’t stay places without a hot tub. Online it said they had one. Book it. Arrived and they said it’s been closed for 3 months. We had been deeply looking forward to the tub. False and irresponsible advertising. Would love a partial refund. Thanks.

Hot tub not in functional order. (Not made aware at either booking or check-in) we would not have booked if we knew. By the time we found out it was too late. Floor in hallway dirty. Like dryer lint or something all over. We were close to the Landry room. Noticed multiple windows broken. One at the end of the hallway and another in a 2nd floor room. Towels were small. No soap in room at all!!! Not a bar, nothing in the dispensers. Nothing. The room was clean. It will be very unlikely we will have a repeat stay.

Checked into the hotel and immediately left for an event. When I arrived back to the hotel and went to my room the room was not cleaned prior. Garbage everywhere, dirty toilet, and used dirty socks on the floor.

They got bed bugs. I came in and I man was waiting on the police to show up because they moved him from one bed bug room to another room with bed bugs. I searched my room and couldn't see any but I started inching. When I got back home I left all my clothes outside in a bag and stripped naked then came in my house to shower. Tomorrow I got to go to the laundry mat and wash and dry my laundry on high heat to be safe. Bed bugs are impossible to get rid of unless u pay over $1,500. I better not got any on my clothes or I'm gonna be mad mad.

Bed bugs my daughter was sleep work up to a bed bug on her pillow and bit her 3 times made a video of it and they said they weren't liable so it's a disgusting place and horrible staff!

The entire hotel was really dirty, I never saw a housekeeper and I was there for 3 days. The place smelled so badly of marijuana it was overbearing . It appeared that there were several “permanent” residents living there, some with multiple small loud children. I think they were the ones smoking the marijuana. The outer doors don’t shut well and were open for anyone to just walk in all hours of the day and night. I had an adjoining room and the door on my side was just missing so the people from the other room could have just walked through from their side. Beeping smoke detectors that needed battery changes. Just a general lack of maintenance and cleaning and managing the place.

We got into our room and the windows were open, we tried to shut them and had no luck, we went to the front desk and the young man tried but ended up putting tape over one he couldn’t shut. The floor needed sweeping, so he brought a vacuum up and my boyfriend quick vacuumed the floor.

Unless you like loud noise and the smell of weed, don’t stay here. The hotel itself was clean and the staff was friendly. However. I am no prude when it comes to weed but the constant overpowering stench of weed was more than we could stand. All the luggage we brought home still smell like it. The worst issue was the noise. The other guests were slamming doors and playing loud music into the early morning hours every night. Screaming and fighting in their rooms. What sounded like they were stomping in the floors above. We got little sleep both nights we were there.

The room was recently renovated, comfortable, and appeared clean. Nice soft bed. The tile and laminate flooring looked good, but was slippery with both socks and bare feet. It felt like it was waxed...sort of slimy, but it was dry. The room smelled fine; no deodorizer or smoky smell. The hallways and lobby , on the other hand, smelled like 50 chain smokers just left and the staff sprayed that disgusting deodorizer cheap hotels use. If the room smelled like that, I would have gone right. Back into the lobby for a refund. The big problem with the room, though was a very, very loud AC compressor. I'm not a light sleeper, and I sleep with ear buds, so no big deal for me. But others may find it intolerable. NO BREAKFAST. I don't think they advertised they had it, but it's almost expected. All in all, just okay for the price I got it for

Other guests on our floor were extremely loud around 10-12 pm, and then were yelling in the hallway at 3-4 am. Rooms were basic, however, clean. Front desk staff when checking in and out were kind and friendly.

We had no remote for Tv. When asked at front desk, they could only find a Samsung remote, we had an LG. No working phone, no hairdryer. No soap in shower, missing electrical plate on an outlet. Appeared to be mold on ceiling of shower. Curtain falling down on one side. Only chair was in very poor condition, Only positive thing is it was quite at night, & bed was fairly comfortable

The staff was nice. The rooms were clean. I wish the beds would have been more comfortable. I think the place is haunted because my TV kept turning on at night. It did it about three times.. I think people live there as well, but they keep it pretty undercover..

We arrived to no one at the front desk. We waited over an hour and a half while Danny(great guy) the security guard tried to find someone. The person had left. We had to wait until 11pm when the next front desk person arrived and checked 6 different coupes in. We then went to our room only to walk in and find someone else there. Scared the crap out of us and could have been unsafe and escalated among all parties. We were given another room but it was not cleaned so we had to wait. Also people sleeping in the stairwells. The next morning we inquired why this happened but also an inquiry why we were double charged. They said they did not see in their end even after showing the charges on my card. The front desk person then proceeded to tell my wife to calm down. Anyone knows you do not use “calm down” with any women. It did not land well with me talking to my wife in this manner and everything escalated. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

The young African-American gentleman that checked me in did not have a name edge on he was extremely rude. He asked for my ID which I found and gave to him. Then he asked me for a credit card and for some reason it declined, even though there is a zero balance on it. He then told me I have to go to the ATM. I asked him if he Allows other credit cards and he said yes so I found one and he did charge me the full amount. When I asked when will the deposit be released he said I don’t know. He did not tell me where the pool was or how to get the towels. He did not write down the password for Wi-Fi nor did he tell me until I asked how do I get to my room number 424 the elevator was very old and shabby and obviously there is no breakfast. It was extremely loud out the window due to I 75 being right there with traffic . If you want pictures I can provide them
The young African-American gentleman that checked me in did not have a name edge on he was extremely rude. He asked for my ID which I found and gave to him. Then he asked me for a credit card and for some reason it declined, even though there is a zero balance on it. He then told me I have to go to the ATM. I asked him if he Allows other credit cards and he said yes so I found one and he did charge me the full amount. When I asked when will the deposit be released he said I don’t know. He did not tell me where the pool was or how to get the towels. Our stay was not the greatest. We got there and I informed the lady at the front desk that our TV did not work, which was very difficult with a toddler. She told me the maintenance guy would be up shortly hours later I called. She said she was sent him straight upstairs an hour later she let me know that he had gone home for the day finally at 9:30 at night, he knocked on the door absolutely uncalled for ridiculous.

I just needed a place to sleep after having picked up extra shifts at work. I didn't see anywhere, when picking the room, that I would need a 100 dollar deposit, after paying for the room with a card. When I stated that I wasn't aware of the need for a deposit the clerk was pretty dismissive "it's on our website". If so, it probably should be more prominent, also I went thru the hotels website to book, not the red roof in website. If I had known I could maybe have brought cash and not had to wait 3 to 5 days for the deposit to be refunded on my card. Otherwise the stay was fine, Bed was comfortable and shower was hot and had great water pressure. After working 12 hours and having to be back in 7 hours, that was all I was needing.

Room was clean, but desk chair was all ripped up and you could see where a picture should have been hanging on the wall but was there for some reason. Furniture / night stands had a lot of wear and tear on them visibly. One thing that caught us off guard was the requirement of a $100 cash only refundable deposit. Hotels.com states $100 debit, credit or cash deposit, not cash only. Sign at the front desk gives notice to this refundable deposit requirement of cash, but then had a sign next to that one stating "No Cash Refunds" which made us feel something was off or wrong. Carrying no cash with us when traveling and only using credit cards, we were forced to use their ATM in the lobby and pay its $4 fee to get the $100 cash for deposit. Maybe it's a way for this hotel to generate more revenue? Not the friendliest policy when states else wise on hotels.com for this establishment.

We arrived at the hotel and after finding our reservation they told us we had to have $100 in cash to put on hold in case we damaged anything in the room. I told them I had no idea and wouldn't have accepted that if I had known. I was willing to give them my credit card but the young man said he couldn't accept a credit card. After asking to speak to the manager, I was told the manager was not available and that the young man did not have a phone number for him. I asked what he would do in case of emergency as if a pipe should burst and the rooms flooded. He said he w.ould get ahold of maintenance and they would contact the manager. I said well call the maintenance and have them ask the manager to call into the office. He acted as if I was putting him in the middle of a rock and hard place. I was because the manager should have been there to handle this issue or made himself available to his staff. After 15 mins he allowed us to stay for the one night. That was all we were booked for. The room was clean but the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were terrible. It was suppose have a breakfast but because of all the renovation materials in the breakfast room, they couldn't do that. I know that Wyndam is a better corporation than what was being presented in Flint MI.

The description of the hotel says it’s close to the Flint airport. It’s 15 minutes away, not five. Upon check-in, it’s mandatory to provide $100 cash deposit. This was a first, I’ve always use my credit card for deposit. The motel is DIRTY! I’d suggest you don’t remove your socks because the floors are gross. There’s mold above the shower, there’s no breakfast buffet, and they’re doing loud construction in the pool area till 1130 at night.

Its right next to Cracker Barrel. That is nice , since the hotel does not have breakfast. The rest of the property could definitely use some TLC inside and outside. The staff was ok. Hard to find someone if you needed anything or just to ask a question. But overall the staff was friendly.

This was a nice surprise. The room was quite comfortable. The hotel was very clean and had new carpet installed recently. It appeared to be recently renovated. It was tucked back in a quiet area where I felt comfortable getting my dog out for a walk. There was no breakfast but there were plenty of options nearby. Great room for the money.

The staff was courteous and the room was pretty decent, be forewarned though that the area where the hotel is located is kind of sketchy so it's not the safest stay you'll have. On about the third or fourth day of my stay there was an incident in the lobby where during the night a glass door was shattered, luckily I was in my room woth the door secured so didn't notice until I left in the morning to visit family(which is why I was on the trip. Overall if you're travelling solo and are cautious of your surroundings this can be a good inexpensive hotel to stay at, if you are travelling with your family I'd consider a hotel in a safer part of town.

According to the website they have free continental breakfast but they do not offer breakfast at all. I only chose this hotel because we like to have a breakfast before we head out for the day. Also when we first arrived our toilet wouldn't flush. I also didn't like the lack of outlets available in the room to charge our devices.

Checked in at 10:30 pm. Waited 15 minutes for night clerk to show up to check us in. Immediately discovered: 1. the pool was not available. 2. the only breakfast offered was coffee. 3. The $200 cash deposit might not be returned immediately in the morning (assuming we left the room undamaged). Neither Expedia nor the property website stated that the property was undergoing renovations. We would definitely not have booked here if this had been disclosed.

Overall a good experience. Everything worked as it should. The room was clean and tidy. Only complaints are the elevator which takes forever to get to the second floor (I think it goes to the third floor before the second from the ground floor - very aggravating). The second is the smell of marijuana from the moment that you walk into the door, in the hallways, even deeper into mine and my sisters room to the point that we had to crack the window. I'd rather smell cigarettes than pot.. it's disgusting. Why do pot smokers get such privilege when cigarette smokers do not? Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Oh coffee maker in the room, but no coffee??? That's just weird.

Property advertises a pool, hot tub and breakfast in the morning. They did not have any of that. We were told that the pool is being renovated and the hot tub hasn’t worked in years. And nobody bothered to explain why there wasn’t breakfast. The hotel was dirty and had a weird smell. Like a wet animal. The only saving grace was that the bed was comfortable.

I’m surprised this hotel hasn’t been shut down due to extremely poor maintenance. It’s insane to charge $105/night.I would not ever stay here again and suggest to anyone to not come here. 1. The fire extinguishers-one has the glass broken out of the wall case and was exposed and easy to reach for a child. Another one had a tag that said it was last serviced in Aug 2024. 2. The pool area had broken floor tiles, the overall floor wasn’t clean, and the hot tub was totally torn up & roped off and tarped. 3. No towels available in the pool area (shelf was empty). 4. The ice machine on the 3rd floor was out of order. It looked terrible and unclean too 5. A vent in our bathroom didn’t have a cover on it and the vent was exposed, and it had SO MUCH caked on dust. There was also another area with exposed wires near the ceiling in the room. 6. The table in our room was wiggly and unstable. 7. From the time we checked in to check-out the next day, there was a large rolling laundry bin that was filled with trash between the check-in area and elevator. It hadn’t been moved and had smelly trash in it. 8. The vending machine was nearly empty. 9. The floor in the hallway near the vending machine was very dirty and looked like it had been awhile since being mopped. The wall was also dirty. There was also random stuff laying around. 10. Outside near the entrance there were flattened cardboard boxes laying around. 11. I noticed the siding was falling off as we were driving away.

The room was very very clean and spacious and the staff were all incredibly courteous and helpful. I only rated it a 3 out of 5 because the bed was like sleeping on a brick. I didn't get any actual sleep at all.
