Luxurious Oasis w Serene Pool, Games & Fire pit

The house and accommodations were very standard—not what I would consider luxurious. Several areas did not feel properly cleaned and were quite dusty. One of the bathrooms was missing a towel holder and had an unpainted patch on the wall. Another bathroom’s shower had hair in the drain and only a single bottle of shampoo, with no other amenities provided. One of the soap dispensers was also broken. Overall, it felt like the house hadn’t been properly checked in between guests.While the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was spacious and well-stocked, the pictures made the home appear nicer than it actually felt in person. I shared my concerns with the host, but the reply didn’t seem to address what I mentioned, so communication felt a bit frustrating.In the end, the home was comfortable enough, but I don’t feel it was worth the cost based on the condition and overall experience.

The host responded in a timely manner to any questions we had. The house was cleaned and easy to access. Fully stocked with the essentials. The host accommodated our stay and will definitely say again.

Home was as described. Nice outdoor area with pool and atrium within for relaxing. Great layout for a small family w/ master on one side of the home and guest beds on the other. All necessary amenities including washer, dryer, dishwasher, restrooms…..properly functioning. Very peaceful neighborhood, lots of charm and deer walking through the yard at night. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Excellent location. Tidy, functional house. A cosy base that you can have downtime in. Plenty of towels, linen etc.

The house is not at all like it was advertised. Heated pool and hot tub broken. Hardly used as too cold. When I booked -these were advertised as working. I should have been notified of this change. Fire pit area was disgusting and not usable. Freezer not working properly- our food was ruined. Needs a serious deep clean. No lounge chairs by pool as there is in photo. Advertised as state of the art chef's kitchen with stainless steel appliances- they are old black appliances. No pool table or arcade game in the game room as advertised. I have requested a refund for one night stay and have been ignored by owner and management company. My husband is a city code inspector and found the water heater is not vented properly and is a carbon monoxide hazard. Did not find any carbon monoxide detectors in the home as advertised. I DO NOT recommend this house at all in its current condition. It is FAR from the "luxury" home it is advertised to be. I was very disappointed in this rental property and recommend that VBRO take it off their site until safety issues and cleanliness are addressed.
