Wonderful location!! 10/10 Very walkable to Salamanca, the harbour & CBD. The onsite parking was great and driving around area was easier than expected. The decor was a little dated but didn't worry us as the place was huge and well equipped.

Easy checkin at Lenna across the road. A bit of a slope but battery point is hilly. Very clean and large two bedroom appartment kitchen had all we needed. Two toilets was handy as it is split level. Stairs could be a problem but I think They have one unit on the same level. So close to restaurants and the Salamanca market. Free parking was very welcome. A great place to stay.

One bedroom apartment is old and basic, but very big. Location is great, and parking is very handy. The motion-activated light in the foyer of the apartment would have been awful if we’d been using the sofa bed - there wasn’t a way to switch it off.

Prime location and good room for the money. Maintenance and cleanliness could be better (kettle was disgusting and some cabinet hardware was broken). Combo washer/dryer was not what I expected based on pics and description, which was disappointing. As a side sleeper, the bed was very comfortable (ultra soft). Windows give zero isolation from noise or temperature though so it can get quite noisy and drafty. Parking was very convenient. Staff was really friendly.

Great Location, right on the corner of Salamanca Place. Parking included (if full you can park across the road in Lenna car park at no charge). Plenty of space inside apartment, quiet location. Only negatives: cleanliness was ok, but not great and bed was uncomfortable (rock hard).

A great apartment in the heart of Salamanca. Close to great restaurants, the harbour, galleries and museums. Everything was in easy reach, and on site parking meant that the car stood still for a few days as everything was within walking distance. Spacious clean room , with daily cleaning. All in all a great place to stay in Hobart.

Check in/check out excellent. The staff are fabulous. Free parking is a bonus & location exceptional. Room (paid for 1 bed 8 nights) had view of Mt Wellington & was as shown, but felt dated & unwelcoming. Some things have been updated (eg carpet), but still feels like it needs a freshen up. The bathroom hasn’t really been modernised so may be why it gives a ‘dated’ feel. Bed was very comfortable & the room spacious. Has a dishwasher, ducted aircon/heater (although the system is huge, yellow & draws your eye to the ceiling); & washing/dryer combo. Cleaning seemed open to interpretation. We chose not to have cleaning every day, but on days requested, felt like we received sub par treatment (exception to the Saturday crew-fabulous). Replenishment of amenities/rubbish removal was hit & miss as was getting the bed remade some days. There was supposedly a mini bar-charge sheet there, but nothing available. Biggest problem was the loud humming that (we believe) came from the lift (assume mechanics) which was adjacent our room. It didn’t stop-ever. Hummed constantly & became louder when lift was being used (day & night). We’ve stayed in hotels close to lifts, but this was next level. On the plus side, hotel is close to everything. Great location. Cost we paid was (in our opinion) above what should be charged for a room that promises a lot but doesn’t deliver. Would we stay again, no. Wasn’t terrible (there were positives), but for reasons noted above, we’d look elsewhere.

This is the second time I have stayed at this property and unfortunately this time does not compare to the first. This time the room was small, smelly and noisy (air con & fridge) In saying that the room was very clean and tidy. The free parking and convenient location was the sole reason we picked this property and this did not disappoint.

Nice staff and great location. Rooms in need of a renovation/refresher. Shower was hot and cold and no water pressure. Heater was on 30 but took 2 days to get to temp. Kitchen kettle and utensils in need of an update.

Apartment was clean but very tired. Advertised as penthouse but needs an upgrade to match description. Broken tiles in bathroom, curtains didn't close properly, door locks to balcony were loose. I've previously stayed in another apartment here and its condition was much better.

Tired and in need of a refresh. Whilst the room proportions are generous and it had what you needed, including a washing machine, things like the older windows letting the street noise in and not being able to wash your face without hitting your head on the mirror cabinets, let it down. Head to wear earplugs each night to be able to get any sleep, and I'm not exaggerating. The staff were excellent and the location was excellent. There was also some really nice timber pieces in the apartment, which was at odds with the rest of the tired decor. The bed was enormous and comfortable. The pictures in Expedia are misleading for what you actually get. There are photos included of a separate building actually called Salamanca Apartments, and that's what we had hoped to receive. But unfortunately, did not. We didn't realise this was a separate building as the photos indicated it was all part of the same place we were booking. The check in is confusing, as you are checking into another completely separate building called Lenna of Hobart, which is across the street.

Whilst the people at reception including the manager were lovely, our stay was negatively impacted by our room being accessed by the cleaners whilst we were still staying there! They threw out items we had bought on our travels like cheeses and wine and were about to keep everything else until we walked into our room. Note this was before checkout time and we hadn’t checked out yet! Management were nice but just feel violated and still don’t know what worse they threw out! Left such a negative impact on our first visit to Tasmania! Would never stay there again!

Spacious, spotless, easy check in at Lenna opposite. Lovely helpful staff, we were able to leave luggage whilst on our 7 day hike. Thank you for a great stay!

Tired and in need of a refresh. Whilst the room proportions are generous and it had what you needed, including a washing machine, things like the older windows letting the street noise in and not being able to wash your face without hitting your head on the mirror cabinets, let it down. Head to wear earplugs each night to be able to get any sleep, and I'm not exaggerating. The staff were excellent and the location was excellent. There was also some really nice timber pieces in the apartment, which was at odds with the rest of the tired decor. The bed was enormous and comfortable. The pictures in Expedia are misleading for what you actually get. There are photos included of a separate building actually called Salamanca Apartments, and that's what we had hoped to receive. But unfortunately, did not. We didn't realise this was a separate building as the photos indicated it was all part of the same place we were booking. The check in is confusing, as you are checking into another completely separate building called Lenna of Hobart, which is across the street.

We arrived much too early (plane landed 8 AM) and reception stored our luggage while we went on a tour. When we returned the room was ready, our bags were in the room. Much appreciated. They went out of their way to help us with leaving the rental car there too. A

Wonderful location!! 10/10 Very walkable to Salamanca, the harbour & CBD. The onsite parking was great and driving around area was easier than expected. The decor was a little dated but didn't worry us as the place was huge and well equipped.

Great for all the stores and markets around the harbor. Lovely walking through the streets of Hobart. Convenient to the tour office for booking tours or getting information. Parking is tricky as the hotel is on a very, very steep hill but once you do it you get use to it.

Perfect location - walk to Battery Point or Salamanca Place or the city. Great little studio apartment in really good condition. Lovely staff. Easy and secure parking. My new go to accommodation for Hobart.

Was perfect for Salamanca markets on Saturday and all the pubs along the street after the market. Was convenient to the exits in/out of town to visit Bruny Island etc.

The restaurant only serves breakfast so feel like this should be clear when you book and also the bar and restaurant is up a decent steep hill not where we were actually staying. Other than that staff were lovely and it's a standard hotel room. It is very convenient to other restaurants and bars😊

Id give 6 stars if i could! Checkin was easy and explained fantastically, walking distance to Hobarts famous salamanca markets and top notch restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was great as well! For the money we spent it has been one of the best rooms weve had in a long time. Look forward to staying again.

Great place to stay - very comfortable and convenient. I've stayed here several times- always good. Also, it's close to various dining options, the waterfront and ferries, and - of course - Salamanca Market on Saturdays. Best locale (and Im speaking as someone who used to live in Hobart for many years).Thoroughly recommended.

Good value for money overall. Central location, but ktchens aren’t very well equipped. Reception staff were quick to assist when I asked for basic things like a frying pan, but everything from very small coffee cups to a complete absence of microwaveable containers made self catering difficult. Surprising as you would think that would be its strength!

I booked this for the location near Salamanca and was very impressive. The unit was large, spacious and contained everything you need, with free parking included. A special mention to Rob at reception whose service was sensational, helping with my questions, and assisting with extra heating from a couple of Queenslanders. I will definitely return here for any future trips to Hobart.
