The Henry Jones Art Hotel has a fantastic location right by Elizabeth Street Pier, and is surrounded by a plethora of seafood restaurants - it’s conveniently located for walking around the docks and/or Hobart city centre. The room was great, and the reception staff were excellent - I needed a couple of documents to be printed and (later) scanned to PDF, and the staff were very helpful. Metered street parking is available, but at A$35 per night we took advantage of the hotel’s valet parking service.

Friendly helpful staff, we loved the afternoon free art & history tour of the hotel. The Valet parking was very easy & convenient for us to arrange with the staff. Plenty of cafes, restaurants , serving delicious food and great Tasmanian wines are located around the hotel Very convenient location being close to the ferry port to Mona Art Museum & hop hop off Red Bus tours We would definitely stay here again if in Hobart in the future . Highly recommend

Staff were very accomodating and helpful. Room was very clean. Location is amazing - very central but quiet. Jazz trio on Saturday night at the bar was very good, wish we could have stayed. We would love to go back.

An interesting place to stay in Hobart. The lounge and bar area a cosy place to relax. We had a loft room,in hindsight should have chosen a standard room. No view from the loft. Easy access to all that Hobart offers. The art collection in the corridors definitely worth wandering around.

A really unique hotel. The staff were quite passionate about making your stay a special one. The bar had an excellent choice of local wines, beers and spirits as well as some cocktail specialties. Landscapes Restaurant was simply Devine. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and the staff were courteous but the bathroom, while modern and enormous, was disappointing in that it has the usual "leave your towel on the rail to help the environment" notice but there is not a single rail in the bathroom! Your solution was to give us double towels each day but a more environmentally friendly alternative would be to buy a cheap freestanding towel rail. The bathroom is a triumph of form over functionality! Likewise the a/c operating instructions next to the control panel appear to relate to an earlier model as they certainly don't relate to this one. Finally the bottom sheet on the bed was ripped - not in a serious way but enough to be surprising. In summary, lovely hotel with fantastic art staffed by wonderful people in a great location but the attention to detail was a bit lacking.

The Henry Jones Art Hotel was wonderful to stay in. Warm, comfortable, excellent position for Dark Mofo, great facilities, lovely and helpful staff. The only downside was the amount of dust in the 'not directly visible' areas of the room (eg. behind the TV, shelves behind the bed, corners). Not enough to make me decide against staying there again, but enough to make allergies kick into action.

Lovely hotel with well trained staff who are happy to help with any issues. Nice waterfront views. Only issue was no acoustic or double glazing on windows, easily hear people outside talking and the 5.30 am council workers using a cherry picker (so noisy) to hang banners from lights. Surely this could have happened at a later time. So quiet sleep not guaranteed but beds comfortable. Great location, easy walk to the city and docks. Numerous restaurants nearby.

Beautiful, quirky hotel in a prime location. Rooms are spacious. If I was to be picky I’d say the air con was loud but could live with it. Still got mini products in the bathroom, would have liked to see the large, refillable ones. No complimentary drinking water and unable to fill ours as the bathroom tap doesn’t move. Would like a fountain that can be accessed to fill bottles. Excellent service, staff could not do enough for us. Would highly recommend.

Great location. I was able to check-in earlier than I was expecting. The studio loft was amazing and I was also able to checkout a bit later, which suited me. The staff were friendly and helpful and I can't wait to stay there again when in Hobart.

The Henry Jones Art Hotel has a fantastic location right by Elizabeth Street Pier, and is surrounded by a plethora of seafood restaurants - it’s conveniently located for walking around the docks and/or Hobart city centre. The room was great, and the reception staff were excellent - I needed a couple of documents to be printed and (later) scanned to PDF, and the staff were very helpful. Metered street parking is available, but at A$35 per night we took advantage of the hotel’s valet parking service.

While higher priced, it’s a lovely spot with great history and is a beautiful property. Easy walking distance or Salamanca and I think quieter in the evenings. Highly recommend!!!

An interesting place to stay in Hobart. The lounge and bar area a cosy place to relax. We had a loft room,in hindsight should have chosen a standard room. No view from the loft. Easy access to all that Hobart offers. The art collection in the corridors definitely worth wandering around.

Amazing property with so much history! The room was beautiful, the service even better. And the food at all of the restaurants was amazing. The art hung all around the hotel was incredible. It was like staying in a museum! Location was perfect for easy walking access to all the key attractions and great eats! Would 100% recommend and stay again!

Great desk staff, fun bar staff, plus excellent styling and artistic representation. New architecture plays with the old and leads to a downstairs courtyard for coffee and breakfast. A walk to everything. Loved!

A really unique hotel. The staff were quite passionate about making your stay a special one. The bar had an excellent choice of local wines, beers and spirits as well as some cocktail specialties. Landscapes Restaurant was simply Devine. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay at the Henry Jones. Staff were absolutely the best, nothing was an issue. The rooms overlooking the Hobart docks fantastic. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and such a comfy bed.
