Hotel Blume Interlaken

Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance from train station and to shopping. Expedia stated there was a buffet breakfast for a fee but nothing was not offered. Lack of breakfast dining in area. Coop store had items but rooms had no refrigeration. They did have coffee in room and a microwave and hot pot you could use in storage room. But lack of a refrigerator was a bummer. I'm not a fan of open showers that drain on bathroom floor as it makes a mess but it worked and was clean.

This hotel is local in a very convenient place, and the room is quite comfortable and has a microwave and electric kettle. There is a COOP supermarket nearby within a five-minute walk, made me save a lot of expenses for meal. I will book this hotel again if I have chance to go to Interlaken again

Conveniently located nice staff. Room was very small (double room) and the private bath was a toilet / shower combo with a frosted glass door. Was staying with my adult daughter, so that was a little odd. It was a bit hard to carry our suitcases up the stairs with no elevator but we managed. The Mexican restaurant was always busy and smelled amazing! I wish we had the opportunity to eat there. Budget friendly and good place to stay if you just need a spot to sleep and shower. Would stay there again.

Close to bus stop and main shopping area. A bit of a walk to the train station but doable. Older hotel. All rooms are up some steeper stairs. Not great for older or less mobile persons. Smaller room. Not much space for luggage or makeup on the counter. Only complaint was the lack of air-conditioning. Probably not usually a problem, but it was very hot while we were there. Our first night was a little uncomfortable with the heat. there is a small fan, which helped some. Also if you open the windows for air it is quite noisy from the restaurants below. They were open very late so noise went on until about midnight.

No elevator and we were on the top floor or thereabouts. Central location, friendly staff, good Mexican restaurant off the lobby. Tobacco shop across the street is top notch.

The Mexican restaurant that is attached and run by the same family has excellent food.

This hotel was in an amazing location with an awesome Mexican restaurant right below. Came with fans and big windows to keep the room cool. Only saw staff upon checkin which was unfortunate as we needed more towels. Otherwise a great little spot.

Our room was very clean and had all the necessary amenities available. Would really recommend this hotel as it’s in a convenient location, clean with very friendly staff.

Very nice little hotel in the heart of Interlaken. Very warm welcome, room was clean, warm and very well maintained. Coffee machine available in the room. Despite being in the centre of the town there wasn’t much noise from the street, or from other guests as previous reviews have stated. The room was serviced each day to a high standard. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Flexible check in and Clean rooms!

We turned up quite early expecting just to drop our bags off but the gentleman at reception made sure our room was the next one to be cleaned and it was ready soon after. Really good when you are tired and just want to relax. The room was perfect. It was clean, just the right size and quite modern looking. The hotel itself is in a great location just a short walk from the train station and close to all the local shops and restaurants. Breakfast the next morning was great, just your basic continental but it was free so that’s a bonus. It was just a shame we weren’t staying longer.

Das Personal im Hotel war außergewöhnlich freundlich und gut gelaunt. Das stand in starkem Kontrast zum Hotel, das schon bessere Jahre gesehen hat. Die Sauberkeit war OK, Prozesse waren nicht perfekt. Das Zimmermädchen hat z.B. einmal den vollen Müllbeutel unter unserem Kofferbock vergessen. Warum?! In den Fluren lagen die Decken der Abreise den Gäste im Weg rum. Putzwägen haben dort allerdings auch keinen Platz, aber die Decken auf den Boden zu legen ist ein Sicherheitsaspekt (Stolper- und Rutschgefahr) und wirkt unhygienisch, weil dort jeder mit Straßenschuhen durch läuft. Es ist ein altes Gebäude, bei dem nicht jedes Zimmer ein eigenes Bad hat, daher hört man andauernd Türen knallen, wenn die anderen Gäste die Etagenbäder benutzen wollen. Wir hatten ein einziges eingebautes Bad bestehend aus Toilette und Dusche inkl. Duschvorhang, ohne Fenster, aber mit Schiebetür aus Milchglas. Nach dem Duschen müsste man erstmal den Boden trocken wischen, damit nicht das ganze Wasser stehen blieb. Frühstück gab es im Hotel gar nicht. Dafür würden Frühstücksrestaurants empfohlen, darunter das Runft oder Migros Restaurant. Ein Gepäckraum befindet sich im ersten Stock und es gibt dort eine Mikrowelle. Auf den Zimmern gibt es eine Kaffeemaschine mit Kapseln. Insgesamt fand ich das Hotel nicht preiswert. Ob ich erneut buchen würde weiß ich nicht, ggf. aufgrund der Freundlichkeit des Personals und der sehr guten Lage und Nähe zum Bahnhof Interlaken West.

Had a glitch with room at first but they accommodated and switched it to a very clean room.

Hotels.com should delist this property. The shared bathroom/toilet was worse than the ones at the train stations. The toilet was unhygienic as it did not have a hand wash basin in it.

Our room was tiny. The shower and toilet were in the same space. It was nothing like the picture on the website. However, it was clean and in a good location.

There was no air conditioning. It was very hot. Room was very cramped. No one was around at the reception.

The hotel is well-placed, more or less half-way between the two train stations and in a street of restaurants (mainly Indian). The staff seem to also work in the Mexican restaurant below and all seem to be pretty easy-going about checking in and out. There are about 15 rooms on three floors, en-suite and shared bathrooms. All pretty quiet while we were there.

Perfect spot to get around the city, and we even had a balcony to watch all the para jumpers! We throughly enjoyed our stay, it was a bit noisy from all the activity outside but not a major issue

Good location. Buses nearby to interlaken ost/west. No amenities though.. when people walk above the noise is heard in our room. Bunk bed also very noisy.

Its a good place to stay in interlaken. Walkable distance from the west station. Cozy and right on the market. However i think its good only for singles or couples but not for families. The bed size was too small for a family. We couldnt sleep well with my little kid together. Good location. But overall at this price, it was a nice stay.

We had a great time during our stay. The staff was great and provided assistance as requested; however, in the evening it was difficult to get ahold of someone since the staff also oversee the restaurant located on first floor of hotel. Additionally, it can get loud on weekends because the restaurant attracts many customers. So much that the lobby and common area on second floor were used to sit overflow dinning customers. Nonetheless, for the price and room conditions, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The lady at the check-in counter was extremely helpful and gave us a lot of helpful information about the areas around.

We have to travel to Zurich earlier than expected so we stayed at the hotel for 3 nights instead of 4. I was surprised to see that they refunded us the one night. Thanks Hotel Blume:)

Succeeded my expectations. Paul and Jessica at the front desk were great. I enjoyed the daily housekeeping which is rare in the US. You can set base here in Interlacken. I did not go to the Mexican restaurant but it was busy and looked fun. Great option for groups of young adults but be mindful of the noise if you’re a solo travel. Thank you again Hotel Blume.

Hotel is a little older but great value compared to the other hotel options in the city. There are many restaurants around the hotel and the bus that takes you to the train station is only a few steps away.

Right above a Mexican restaurant with a fun bar, for some reason was surrounded by Indian restaurants, but was within easy walking distance of a handful of local dining spots. Balcony was nice, and room matched the cities vibes. A small town so everything was within walking distance and staff was very nice.

Staff was great. Very friendly and helpful! Property is fairly run down or just needs a major facelift. In an area of town that is occupied completely by non-europeans. That is definitely not what we came to visit Interlaken to experience. This may not be the hotel's fault, but at night it was extremely noisey inside the hotel with lots of bumping and jostling of things all night long.

Would not recommend this place Toilet and shower were remodeled in the same closet size space. No AC, afraid to open window as this neighbor was full of unsavory looking folks. Restaurants in the area were mostly middle eastern, Indian, or oriental personal preference but were dirty. Photo on file doesn’t represent what you get. No elevator.

You can check in online, so you don't have to worry about hotel arrival time(I haven't met the staff.). There are numerous restaurants in the area, including many Asian restaurants, so there is no need to worry about dining options.
