The property was well situated but we would have liked more electric sockets, for example, by the bedside. It was very hot here, so we had to keep the windows open at night, which was very noisy on the weekend due to the nightclub downstairs.

I didn't know the hotel would be under renovation at our stay. Workers go by the scaffolding of our room’s windows every day. Terrace is messy of the work and cannot go out. In addition, there is a bar at the ground floor where drunks speak loud midnight.

Beautiful property on river connecting both lakes. 5 minutes walk from train/bus/ferry station. Excellent breakfast buffet, clean room, great bedding, wonderful service. The wifi reception in the room is poor and shotty and can definitely use improvement.

Great view and easy access from the train station. The bar is open late and there was a lot of noise from that until about 4 am.

Very outdated. Uncomfortable bed with holes in the sheets. No refrigirator, kettle or bin in room. No regulated heating/cooling in rooms. Breakfast was not that great. Hotel is in a very convenient location to public transport and shops.

Positives: Very close to train station, market and eateries with vegetarian options. Lake facing with good scenic beauty. Negatives No electric kettle in room. To get hot water you have to go to lobby. The hot water container is generally switched off and you have to wait for 30-45 minutes for water to get hot. Not enough lights in the room. Charging sockets for phones were difficult to find. Found one behind bed side table almost at floor level. Did not find it value for money.

This hotel is very convenient to Interlaken West station and a number of dining and shopping options, including a COOP right next door. Breakfast was good and the rooms were adequate. But the facility as a whole, acknowledging that it is a historic building, is very run down. Worn carpeting, dents, cracks and chips in walls and trim work, peeling and in some cases moldy wall paper and paint, and outdated furnishings and electrical service. No AC but room fans which help in summer. Did not visit bars but their hours appeared ‘fluid’. They do sit next to the river so when they are open, perhaps the setting is okay. To be fair, there is ongoing construction on the facade and a common bath off dining area so perhaps improvement is coming. In summary, a convenient stay if you’re not fussy and don’t plan on hanging out in the hotel (and why would you, you’re in Interlaken).

Hotel is under renovation. The rooms beside ours is undergoing demolition. Good thing we were there only at night. The hotel needs to improve customer service in general. Maybe because the hotel is really dated and undergoing renovation but customer service shouldnt be compromise. Breakfast should serve better, fresher food, fruits!

Lovely old time hotel. Each room has its own character. Rooms are spacious. Bathrooms are very clean.

Location very convenient. A little noisy and busy right by river and train station but quieted at night. Breakfast included was very good. Staff was very helpful. Rooms clean and had a great view of the river and could open the windows at night fit great mountain breeze.

This hotel is in dire need of repair. Old hotel which can be charming but not this one. REDRUM. Couldn't wait to leave. Musty smell. Rooms were big. Big bathroom but stained toilet and tub. Could use a better clean. Breakfast was horrible. Hot food was mixed veggies, hot dogs and beans??? 😒

The room floor had dust and hair left behind, showing that even the most basic housekeeping was neglected. Yet the far bigger problem was the staff, who were shockingly unprofessional, uninformed, and inconsistent. Every question produced a different answer, and it quickly became clear that communication and training were nonexistent. The worst failure was with my confirmed SBB Door to Door luggage service. Before arrival, the hotel had promised to assist. Once I checked in, I was told to “wait until tomorrow.” Over the following days, staff repeatedly contradicted one another: some said they could help, others refused responsibility, and none took ownership. On the final morning, I was told bluntly to leave my luggage in the lobby “at my own risk.” In the end, I was forced to handle everything myself. Even the courier complained that staff denied any knowledge of my request. This hotel embodies indifference, poor management, and zero accountability. It was one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. I will never return, and I strongly urge others to avoid it.

インターラーケン・ヴェスト駅から歩いて３分。ホテルのすぐそばにはスーパーマーケットのcoopがあります。 3人で泊まったのでベランダのある部屋でした。前にはアーレ河が流れていて、景色はすごく綺麗でした。しっかり晴れていれば、アイガーも見られます。 スタッフは親切で、部屋に冷蔵庫はありませんが、スタッフに言えば預かってくれます。 ただ部屋の清掃は行き届いておらず、ベッドをめくったらマスクが出てきました。少々掃除が出来ていなくても、海外ってこんなもんと思えるなら、良いホテルだと思います。

We had a lovely balcony & view from our room, looking out onto the gorgeous lake. Our room was spacious however, lacked a cosy feel, very outdated. We had breakfast included, but didn’t use it. We sat downstairs for it one day, was no greeted by any member of staff, lots of tables still had plates/cups that had been used on. Not a wide variety of food and what was there, didn’t look very appealing. We had some juice & got a pastry from local shop down the road. The view and balcony was mostly the only reason I booked the room! Very close to the train station which is also ideal! Just lacks the personal touches, and cosy feel to the room.

Everything was great but the ceiling of the shower looked like it’s about to collapse on me :(

MOLD in hotel made me feel sick until I left. Bathroom extremely stuffy, shower head sprays in all directions at way too high pressure, no fan or ventilation resulting in towels not drying. Mattress is ancient and the room got way too hot at night. Staff are rude and try to argue over small requests like extra towels or wanting to sit in a bigger table in an empty breakfast lounge. View and location are excellent, but completely overshadowed by this horrendous, moldy hotel.

Central location and great room. Pricy, but excellent breakfast options and price is comparable to others in the area... It's a tourist town, so it's expected, I guess. Room was not sound proof despite closing windows and terrace doors, so early morning disturbance from loud tourists and trains in the area

This hotel's strongest asset is it is super close and easy to get to and from the train station with a short walk. The room is small but comfortable. The view from the balcony was wonderful. Breakfast was great as well. This hotel just needs a little update and it would be even better. That being said, it was still and good experience!

The room was nice and had a nice view to the river. However, since there is a pub in the corner, it got noisy for few hours and drunk people were making noise during very late at nigh. The walls are not sound proof so could hear the neighbors steps, conversations, etc. I couldn’t have a good rest

Nice big room with a beautiful view of the rivers. Our room had a patio. Everything was very nice and a good price.

The hotel is in a perfect location. Staff are friendly. The room we stayed in was okay but the bed felt like it was going to break every time I moved. The bedding felt like cardboard, not to mention the pillows that felt like I was sleeping on a rock. On top of that, the walls were so thin that I could hear every conversation next door and them snoring.

Breakfast was very nice. Hotel staff were pleasant and very polite & helpful. A little construction was ongoing but not a negative factor at all. Close to trains.

入住時付了費加一張小童床，外出回來後，加床消失了！晚上完全沒有服務員！完全不知道為何加床消失了？理論後前台給了一間環境很差的單人房！到第二天才把床重新再加！莫名其妙，又沒有解釋原因！

The view from our room was spectacular. Karin at the front desk was amazing. Property was very centrally located and breakfast was good. Would definitely stay again.

It was my bday and I requested the hotel for a cake they said they don’t make cakes or provide them. Later next morning there were 2 cakes for breakfast. The room was not well lit. The staff literally took away my keys at 11:15 when I requested 10 more minutes to get ready since it was my bday did not even allow me to check out slightly late because the checkout was very early at 11 which at other hotels is 12. Terrible service

Hotel location is good, staff are nice, yummy breakfast, accessible location. Nice view.

The hotel is very conveniently located near the train and bus stations. The room is very spacious by European standard, room is bright with multiple windows and doors, and has nice balconies. Bathroom is one of the few hotels we stayed that does not leak water bear it has a tub. The continental breakfast is good too.

It was an amazing stay at this Hotel, Beatriz greeted us very friendly and all through out our stay she’s always cheerful to talk to especially asking directions etc. The location is so perfect! Located short distance to train station and public transportation. Walking distance to shopping centers, restaurants and bars! Their breakfast was also delightful there’s variety of sections. Overall it was wonderful stay! We Love it!

The property is in a great location! The staff is friendly and it would’ve been a good hotel if the fire alarm didn’t go off at 2:30am for over 20min. Also, if you’re seeking quietness then this may not be for you either. They have disco time downstairs up until 5am that I was able to hear on the third floor. Not an awful hotel but could’ve been better.

This was a great location just a 2-3 minute walk from a major transit station. I would stay here again and I would recommend this. Considering what food costs in Switzerland, free breakfast was important. There is a warning on the back of the bathroom door that if you steam up the room and set off the fire alarm, it's a 150CHF fine, and I was worried about it before I showered. I later learned that it is not a problem at all at standard shower temperatures. No need to stress. I stayed in a one twin bed room. It was small but not cramped and had everything I needed.

The hotel has a great location, short distance from train station. Close to shopping, markets and restaurant. Breakgast has a wide selection of items, friendly staff. No AC in the rooms, but Interlaken is a cool breeze city.

Location: 5/5 this hotel is in a great location. Close to Train station, restaurant, shopping and beautiful view of the lake. Room: 2/5 our room have a beautiful view and it is clean with big balcony. However the bed was too soft, you will sink right in. Pillow have no support. Blanket is clumpy, so some part is warm and other part have no down feather so it was cold. Shampoo come in little sample pack, which I thought was very strange. Towel was a mix match of style and size. Curtain is also mix match of different types of curtains color and fabric. Everything in the hotel seem slightly broken and damage. Breakfast: 5/5 delicious breakfast, lots of variety of fruits and option. The dinning room have a beautiful window facing the river. Service: 4/5 no issue with the staff at check in and check out. Staff did a good job keeping the hotel clean.

The location was excellent, offering stunning views and a unique atmosphere. However, the property is quite outdated, though it appears they are undergoing significant renovations. The breakfast was distinctly European—featuring warm meats and a make-your-own-egg setup. I’d recommend sticking to the toast and croissants. Overall, it was a memorable experience in an incredible setting, though likely best suited for a one-time stay.

O Hotel fica bem localizado, tem funcionários atenciosos, nosso quarto era grande e possuía uma ótima vista da cidade. Porém, senti que o hotel é mal gerenciado, o colchão da cama era velho e desconfortável, o hotel precisa de manutenção e, o que foi pior, o café da manhã era muito ruim, as máquinas de café eram antigas e com mau funcionamento, as opções de comidas do café da manhã eram de baixa qualidade e as frutas estavam praticamente todas estragadas. Realmente creio que o problema esteja na gerencia do estabelecimento, precisa melhorar em alguns pontos.

It is right next to, or adjacent to the train station. The hotel is simply a little tired. Breakfast is included and is adequate though the, single burner, cook your own eggs station is a bit of a cluster.

The breakfast buffet stands out in the memory as being plentiful and extensive. The staff were attentive and friendly and constantly replenishing the items. The bedroom decor may be a little dated, but everything was clean and comfortable (the staff again being attentive and friendly) and the bathroom was spacious and modern. A convenient and well-kept hotel.
