The hotel was noisy at night and we couldn’t get a good night sleep during the 5 nights we stayed there. The rooftop bar had loud music until very late at night. The other hotel guests were loud and the doors slammed when closing. Aside from that, the location was really good as well as the staff who were really helpful and welcoming.

Our stay at blue house was wonderful, and would have been great, even if we had not reserved the so-called sultans suite. That room has an incredible view of the blue mosque, about 100 yards away. But the property has a fantastic staff as well, and is in a great neighborhood of the old city. The view from the terrace restaurant on the rooftop is unmatched, and the food was also great. We would definitely stay there again.

Great hospitality, and highly communicative staff, safe, convenient location and clean. Kurban made my stay easy and helped me get the most out of my short time there. He helped arrange all bookings, answered my questions and walked me around the area to help me get my bearings. The hotel rooftop has a great view and is a fun high vibrant space for fantastic food, a glass of wine and Shisha, and great DJ open to requests to make it all about the guests. I loved that. My room was clean with fully stocked toiletries, and my near proximity view of the Blue Mosque made it perfect. Finally, the breakfast each morning was nothing short of amazing. They had a wide selection of food and everything was fresh and tasted incredible!! if you are in Sultanahmet, I highly recommend this place. Great value for what you get.

This was our second stay at the Blue House Hotel and you cannot ask for a better location in the Old City (Sultanhamet). The charming, traditional wooden house property is steps away from the Blue Mosque and has a rooftop terrace overlooking the famous site. Yasar, Vahap and Hakki were gracious and very helpful hosts during our stay. The included breakfast was a delicious mix of Western and Turkish cuisine! The Arasta Bazaar is literally right next door. It has a wonderful variety of souvenirs, local artwork, turkish delight, spices, rugs, jewelry, etc. that almost makes the Grand Bazaar and Spice Market skippable. What it doesn't have is the crowds of people! The Tree of Life ceramics store in front of the hotel is also worth a visit to see the amazing pottery and ceramic tiles for sale. A discount is provided for guests of the hotel.

Blue House Hotel is located within walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and other famous landmarks of this beautiful city. The hotel has a hotel on the top floor which has wonderful/breathtaking views of the Blue Mosque and Bosporus Sea. Our hotel room and bathroom was on the small side for 3 people, but it was cleaned everyday, fresh towels and toiletries were left for our use. Breakfast was very tasty with a large selection of fresh vegetables, fruits, cakes, cheese, olives and a variety of salads. Also cereals, jams and hot and cold drinks were available. Hasan on the reception desk was always very helpful and gave advise when asked. My only criticism would be that the hotel did not allow an iron in the room. If we wanted our clothes ironed then we had to pay for laundry and an ironing service.

This Hotel, not unlike a few others, is in the prime location some walkable, some require a short 5min journey. They are the Blue Mosque which is Literaily next door, Hagia Sophia 5min walk, Topkapi Palace and Bacilia Cestine about 10mins walk and the Grand Bazaar. The attractions aside, its quite has a terrace resturant with great views, the breakfast wad great and the room interior beautiful and bathroom equpped with a powerful shower, free toilteries, hair dry and there is daily room service if you request it. I didnt try the minibar ad i was out exploring most days. You will find the staff are eager to help, especially Firat and Hasan eith any questions or help with booking tours and trips.

Imagine seeing blue mosque in front of you from your room. 2mins walk to blue mosque and 4mins walk to hagia sofia. Great location. Nice rooftop restaurant. Awesome staff and service. Only small problem was wifi sometimes disconnected.

Excellent location to historical sites. Very nice staff and helpful especially Mr Forat & Yousif. Not properly cleaned rooms, bedding sheets and bathrooms, outdated decorations and furnishings. Breakfast was reasonable but lacking labels and cold. You can hear noise from rooms above using bathrooms not properly sound insulated being fairly old hotel. The hotel rating is between 2-3 stars, it needs some attention and improvement to gain 3-4 stars.

The hotel was terribly disappointing. This is the second time we stay here and although the location was excellent, which at this point seems to be the only draw, the hotel was so dirty. The breakfast that was supposed to be over by 10:30 was finished by 9:30 and I saw a mouse running around in the dining room. The breakfast selection was basically cereal by the time we went at 9:45. The room was not clean and the bathroom was mouldy and the shower didn't really work.

I had a tv but was not able to use it ; never provided tv control. Didn’t have house keeping . Better use airbnb instead of this hotel. Service from personnel of front desk the best. Breakfast Amazing good. Poor housekeeping maid.

Property was in perfect location to see all of the tourist sites. It was quiet and clean, a wonderful breakfast also. We arrived much later than expected (after midnight) and they assisted us getting settled.

El personal de recepción y de limpieza fueron muy amables en todo momento, cada mañana con una sonrisa. La habitación estaba muy limpia y con todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda. Quizás agregaria una lámpara en la mesa de noche para más iluminación, pero todo estuvo muy bien. El desayuno muy variado, con comida riquísima. Quizas podría agregar algún otro tipo de jugo, pero todo estuvo perfecto. La ubicación del hotel es perfecta, incluso a pocos metros está la parada del bus para trasladarse al aeropuerto

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, although, I feel sorry for the hotel owners - Sultanamet is outdated and the restaurants are way over-priced. Went for dinner in other areas like Karikov and Kardikoy most nights. Expect Turkish breakfast buffet. Explore other local areas for a more authentic experience. No aircon in winter months until early summer. We visited in late April and had to sleep with the windows open, which meant an early awakening to the noise on the streets and the call to prayer. Affordable accommodation but everything in the area is overpriced, including the tourist attractions.

The hotel was noisy at night and we couldn’t get a good night sleep during the 5 nights we stayed there. The rooftop bar had loud music until very late at night. The other hotel guests were loud and the doors slammed when closing. Aside from that, the location was really good as well as the staff who were really helpful and welcoming.

This is a well located hotel within walking distance to all of the main tourist sites. It is almost next door to the Blue Mosque. Everything is good except wi-do is a bit sketchy. Sometimes it works well in the lobby, but not in the room. I was on the 3rd floor. I would recommend this hotel.

Doors can not be locked when you are out of the room. We go down for breakfast and we left our wallet in our jacket. We lost some cash money We do not judge but when we ask they immediately said there is no camera & they can not help us with this issue !!! The terrace was spectacular and the food at the cafe there was very yummy. The only issue we had was upon arrival at the Galataport terminal we were expecting a transfer to the hotel. I had emailed the hotel months prior to make arrangements and get a quote and then after waiting 40 minutes hailed a quote which charged us 5x what we should've paid and didn't drop us in front of the hotel. We were told on artival they don't do transfers from the port, but i have emails that quote a price. On our morning of departure, after 2 confirmations, front desk called our transfer service to find out they hadn't sent anyone and it was a last minute rush to get out the door. Staff were friendly and apoligetic for the misunderstandings which were probably solely from language barriers. Room was clean. Hotel was half a block from the Blue Mosque!

Great hospitality, and highly communicative staff, safe, convenient location and clean. Kurban made my stay easy and helped me get the most out of my short time there. He helped arrange all bookings, answered my questions and walked me around the area to help me get my bearings. The hotel rooftop has a great view and is a fun high vibrant space for fantastic food, a glass of wine and Shisha, and great DJ open to requests to make it all about the guests. I loved that. My room was clean with fully stocked toiletries, and my near proximity view of the Blue Mosque made it perfect. Finally, the breakfast each morning was nothing short of amazing. They had a wide selection of food and everything was fresh and tasted incredible!! if you are in Sultanahmet, I highly recommend this place. Great value for what you get.

The charming, traditional wooden house property is steps away from the Blue Mosque and has a rooftop terrace overlooking the famous site. Excellent location within short walk of Sultan Ahmet mosque, Aya Sofia, Topkapı Palace, Basilica Cisterns and the tram. Walking to the Grand Bazaar was very doable. Well located and yet quiet and tucked away. Staff were wonderful and friendly. 24 hour concierge always ready to help. Room was pretty and clean with nice amenities (slippers, toothpaste, water, etc). I plan to return in a few months. I wish the breakfast started earlier than 8:00.

The hotel was nice and clean it was very convenient located near Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque and Topaki Palace. Everything's very convenient and within walking distance this was the best thing about it the hotel was nice and clean. The was very respectable. J’ai énormément apprécié mon séjour au Blue House. Dans un premier temps l’hôtel est très bien situé, au pied des mosquées et de pleins de restaurants accessibles facilement à pied. Ensuite, l’hotel se trouve pas loin d’une station de métro ce qui facilite énormément pour les déplacements. Dans un second temps, le personnel de l’hôtel est vraiment au petit soin, agréables et très accueillant. Dans un troisième temps, la chambre et l’hôtel en lui même étaient très propres et très confortables. Je reviendrai dans cet hôtel sur et certain. C’etait un séjour merveilleux et encore plus appréciable avec le choix de cet hôtel !

Our stay at blue house was wonderful, and would have been great, even if we had not reserved the so-called sultans suite. That room has an incredible view of the blue mosque, about 100 yards away. But the property has a fantastic staff as well, and is in a great neighborhood of the old city. The view from the terrace restaurant on the rooftop is unmatched, and the food was also great. We would definitely stay there again.

El personal de recepción y de limpieza fueron muy amables en todo momento, cada mañana con una sonrisa. La habitación estaba muy limpia y con todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda. Quizás agregaria una lámpara en la mesa de noche para más iluminación, pero todo estuvo muy bien. El desayuno muy variado, con comida riquísima. Quizas podría agregar algún otro tipo de jugo, pero todo estuvo perfecto. La ubicación del hotel es perfecta, incluso a pocos metros está la parada del bus para trasladarse al aeropuerto

Great hotel location and clean room. Breakfast was great and well-stocked until the very end of the breakfast time period. Only downside was the private car we booked with the hotel - we ended up waiting for what turned out to be a shuttle service in the car park at midnight. We turned away and booked our own car, only to be demanded that we also pay for the shuttle even though it’s like a bus service that runs with or without you. In the end, they agreed not to charge us but then asked for the money again at check-out.

Only downside was the private car we booked with the hotel - we ended up waiting for what turned out to be a shuttle service in the car park at midnight. We turned away and booked our own car, only to be demanded that we also pay for the shuttle even though it’s like a bus service that runs with or without you. In the end, they agreed not to charge us but then asked for the money again at check-out.

Everything was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Just remember to close your windows at night if you do not need the call to prayer before sunrise.
