It would have been Nice to have some fruit, cut out at the breakfest buffet. And people were sitting very close to the buffet, so it could be difficult to get the Food and juice. The spa was nice, maybe put a sign up to the locker-room(where you change before going to the spa) as we had trouble finding it and just thought it was toilets. Over all, a very fine hotel

This an absolutely great place! The igloo tent was warm and comfortable, the restaurant great and the spa facilities were lovely. The service is lovely especially the free transportation offered. A scenic and beautiful place - quiet and recommended

The igloos were a fun experience, but similar to glamping - no shower, and a compostable toilet that wasn’t changed during our 3 night stay. Our bed also was only made for the first time on our last night. There was also a carafe of water in your room that you had to refill yourself during your stay, and reception rarely had water, so it felt like it was hard to come by. Service was also not 5 star quality - they would serve multiple customers at once (instead of dealing with one issue and moving on) and then speak openly about other guests problems in front of customers. We had a 4pm check in and when we returned to reception at 5pm, we had to wait 20 mins while the staff got distracted on another guests issue before they could check our room and let us in (we arrived at the hotel at 1pm). The hotel is very remote so I’d advise bringing your own snacks, because if you miss lunch, there’s nothing to eat until dinner at 5pm. The food however was delicious and felt 5* (albeit a little pricey). We also wished the aurora bar was open more nights after dinner - they didn’t say when it would be open but is a nice place to have a drink and roast some marshmallows. Would recommend Baba Husky’s Husky ride as an activity - you just need to organise a transfer (you have to pay) out of the resort to nearby Santa Claus village. That was the highlight of our stay.

Oda temiz, spa çok güzeldi. Personel ilgili ve kibardı. Odadan harika kuzey ışıklarını yatağımızda izledik. Oda biraz küçük ve içinde duş yok, wc ise kamp modeliydi. Ama yakındaki saunda duş ve wc bulunmakta. Havalimanı ve şehir merkezine ücretsiz transfer hizmeti sunması da güzeldi.

Let's start with the good. We came to see the aurora borealis and we were able to accomplish our goal. There are a few staff members that are exceptionally well and if they staffed the entire property with these three staff members and then it would be exceptional. The staff were Andrea, Tree who worked as the manager in dining and Patty the manager. The property is missing the details that make it qualify to be a 5-star. First five star properties have five star customer service and that was significantly missed at this property. For example, Manus, in the dining needs customer service training. He acted as if we were in inconvenience and was unaccommodating. Having a limit on visiting the spa facilities is insane when that's all you can really do in property and when you're paying 1400/ night. The rooms should have closet space and room for luggages. There should be room service. House keeping should make up beds daily and supply cold water in rooms. There should be a transport buggy for moving around the property in the cold. Lastly, when the Aurora is out, turn the lights down on property to make it easier for guest to see and enjoy. I was assured the property will make improvements by next year so hopefully others will have a different experience. If none of these details matter to you, you'll have a great time.

We had an amazing experience at Aito, and we highly recommend it! The spa facilities were excellent, with finnish sauna and jacuzzi. Snowmobiling was an exciting adventure that allowed us to explore the beautiful surroundings in a fun way. The lake-view igloo was simply adorable—though small, it offered stunning views and a cozy, magical atmosphere. We absolutely loved the Junior Suite. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and felt like a true home away from home. The staff at the resort were incredibly helpful and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, our time at Aito was unforgettable, and we hope to return one day!

Det var simpelthen et MAGISK ophold! Suveræn service, fint værelse (som dog ikke havde “forrest view”, som beskrevet, men udsigt til busk), ellers har jeg intet at sætte på stedet. Det var et fantastisk ophold - og lækker spa, hvor jeg også fik en fremragende behandling. Vi så ikke nordlys, da der var for overskyet, men dét er jo ikke hotellets skyld. Virkelig et fantastisk hotel!

Great day and night spent at the Aito Igloo Resort in the quite and beautiful landscape surrounded by snow, the forest and the lake. Very nice the spa formula included in the accomodation. We also had the possibility to have a dinner inside the restaurant and it was delicious. I suggest to improve the toilet space in the Igloo since it's quite small and difficult to be used.

The property is SO SERENE! I loved everything about this space! I stayed in the treehouse and loved the aesthetic! The spa is great! The staff is very accommodating and friendly. I saw the Auroras for hours! I plan to continue visiting to come unplug and reset annually!

The service at the restaurant was extremely slow, and there weren’t any quick-to-serve menu options available. It seemed that all the other customers around were also upset, suggesting the need for an overall review of the restaurant’s operations. Introducing faster-to-prepare dishes and improving staff efficiency would likely help address these issues.

Let's start with the good. We came to see the aurora borealis and we were able to accomplish our goal. There are a few staff members that are exceptionally well and if they staffed the entire property with these three staff members and then it would be exceptional. The staff were Andrea, Tree who worked as the manager in dining and Patty the manager. The property is missing the details that make it qualify to be a 5-star. First five star properties have five star customer service and that was significantly missed at this property. For example, Manus, in the dining needs customer service training. He acted as if we were in inconvenience and was unaccommodating. Having a limit on visiting the spa facilities is insane when that's all you can really do in property and when you're paying 1400/ night. The rooms should have closet space and room for luggages. There should be room service. House keeping should make up beds daily and supply cold water in rooms. There should be a transport buggy for moving around the property in the cold. Lastly, when the Aurora is out, turn the lights down on property to make it easier for guest to see and enjoy. I was assured the property will make improvements by next year so hopefully others will have a different experience. If none of these details matter to you, you'll have a great time.

The igloos were a fun experience, but similar to glamping - no shower, and a compostable toilet that wasn’t changed during our 3 night stay. Our bed also was only made for the first time on our last night. There was also a carafe of water in your room that you had to refill yourself during your stay, and reception rarely had water, so it felt like it was hard to come by. Service was also not 5 star quality - they would serve multiple customers at once (instead of dealing with one issue and moving on) and then speak openly about other guests problems in front of customers. We had a 4pm check in and when we returned to reception at 5pm, we had to wait 20 mins while the staff got distracted on another guests issue before they could check our room and let us in (we arrived at the hotel at 1pm). The hotel is very remote so I’d advise bringing your own snacks, because if you miss lunch, there’s nothing to eat until dinner at 5pm. The location was superb and so were the facilities. However, there is no management to guide the young staff left alone to run the hotel.....there is also more to be done on clearly stating the local activities and prices....the restaurant menu, especially lunch need to be a more varied if you are staying for more than two days. Airport pickup is chaotic and overal management needs to be improved.

Schönes Resort mit einzigartigen Zimmern. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Man ist auf Shuttleservice angewiesen da unter 45 Minuten nichts im Umkreis liegt. Diese muss man aufgrund begrenzter Plätze frühzeitig buchen oder ein Taxi ordern. Das Frühstück entsprach nicht den Erwartungen. Das Essen war kalt und das Personal unaufmerksam. Un site vraiment extraordinaire avec une très belle offre d'activité et du personnel très sympatique. J'ai beaucoup aimé la présence des rennes sur le site ainsi que les installations de sauna et spa qui sont aussi très agréable.

Super Good overall. Did the Husky self drive, it was great with a great Husky farm: Matara Creek. Hotel was great overall, Spa, breakfast, services. I recommend to drive or to plan your activities with the hotel as this is 45 min from the city center.

It's a Wonderful Gem hidden in Lapland. The front staff was very friendly and helpful. The spa was amazing, relaxing, and beautiful. The salmon soup for lunch was amazing and delicious. The fine dining was a bit understaffed, but the staff was lovely and made up for the long wait. We enjoyed the Aurora Tree House—it was beautiful. Our tip would be to add some amenities to the hotel room, like a vanity set, dental set, etc. We loved this place!

Good but not great. Some things were excellent but the excessive light pollution from the hotel and the excessive amounts of light diminished the aurora experience. Even all the way on the lake the bright lights of the resort spilled excessive light pollution for what is otherwise an extremely dark area. The treehouse was very fun, dinner was good but slow.

It's great that they offer transfer to and from the resort, the resort is beautiful and the spa is very good. The only downside was the food at dinner, very poor presentation and not very tasty.

Abbiamo soggiornato nell’igloo e nonostante fossimo a conoscenza del fatto che i servizi fossero limitati, non è possibile che non si è organizzati con la possibilità offrire delle docce e servizi connessi. Abbiamo dovuto fare la doccia nell’anticamera della sauna, una struttura a pochi metri dell’igloo, dove c’era un via vai di persone e nemmeno una stanza per avere un po di privacy per cambiarsi. Le docce inoltre non erano suddivise tra uomo e donna, per cui il disagio era parecchio. Inoltre non era possibile nemmeno asciugarsi i capelli e nemmeno nell’igloo c’era la possibilità di avere un asciugacapelli. Del resto la struttura è molto bella, però questo disagio non ha reso il nostro soggiorno del tutto confortevole considerata anche la tariffa pagata. Da rivedere alcuni aspetti.

I had a great time, I enjoyed the spa and other amenities daily. The raindeers were adorable, the views were amazing and I truly enjoyed my time there.

I had a great time, I enjoyed the spa and other amenities daily. The raindeers were adorable, the views were amazing and I truly enjoyed my time there.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at this hotel. We paid €753 for one night, including spa access, and were surprised to learn that hotel guests are limited to only two hours per day in the spa (sauna and jacuzzi), and that access requires booking a specific time slot. This restriction was neither clearly communicated in advance nor aligned with the expectations for a five-star hotel experience. It is unreasonable to apply the same limitations to overnight guests as to external visitors who only pay for spa access. Additionally, the quality of the dinner was extremely poor and far below the standards expected from a five-star establishment. While breakfast was acceptable, the dinner experience was disappointing. As someone who stays regularly in five-star hotels worldwide, I have never encountered such low food quality. We also had an issue with the massage service. My mother arrived one minute before her scheduled appointment, yet the therapist started late and kept her waiting for approximately 10 minutes. Despite this delay on the therapist’s part, the session still ended at the originally scheduled time, resulting in her losing about one-third of the treatment she paid for (approximately €28.33 in value). No compensation or adjustment was offered. Overall, the combination of restricted spa access, poor food quality, and unprofessional handling of the massage appointment made this stay far below expectations.
