Hotel New Hankyu Kyoto

エレベーター数基あり、それがかぶらないよう高速で来てくれる為、ストレスが全くなかったことが本当に良かった。 冷房が少し弱いようなイメージがあるけど普通に過ごす分には気にならない。 シャワーも水圧があり個人的にも〇。 楽しく過ごさせてもらいました。

The place was great! Easy check in and the staff were lovely. There isn’t a laundry service or room on site however so you will need to walk a couple of blocks to find one if need be :)

This hotel is conveniently located directly across from the main entrance of JR Kyoto Station, and next door to the Kyoto Tower. There is an underground walkway that connects to the sidewalk right outside the hotel from the station. Amenities are available for you to grab as needed in the lobby. Staff was very nice and helpful, immediate service when we called about things such as opening the window and about missing replacement PJ's after room cleaning. Two issues: there are no lounge areas in the hotel for you to eat or drink - there are signs everywhere saying no food or drink. The other issue was the hotel's temperature control. It was unbearably warm and I heard the staff telling another guest that it's centrally controlled and all they can do is help with opening the room's window. Which definitely did help cool it down some, but otherwise it was very uncomfortable. After one night of sweating it out, I caved in and asked them to open the window for my room too, and then it was better - but it became somewhat humid in the room instead. It was not only warm in the rooms, the lobby and all communal areas were too warm as well, so I believe the staff when they say it's central... I would end up going outside at 4am just to cool down. But anyway, other than that... the staff was all very kind, the hotel was clean albeit a bit dated, but the location is unbeatable so I would definitely stay here again!

Very good hotel by itself. Only one thing we wished was coin laundry. Closest one was about 7 minutes walk. Other than that, very good! Dry convenience place & in front of Kyoto station!

I like the hotel but the only thing i am disappointed is there is no laundromat in the hotel. It a little difficult for us who wants to travel like.

Staff are very nice and speak English well. They helped me forward my luggage as I checked out. It’s very close to the station, about a 5-7 minute walk. There’s an underground mall called Porta that has lots of food options, as well as shopping.There’s no laundry at this hotel so we went to a laundromat about 10 minutes walk to do it.

朝食が良かった。大浴場などの温泉施設がほしい。

O hotel está muito bem localizado, a recepção é bastante atenciosa e a estrutura é boa. O único ponto para reavaliação são os restaurantes. Na divulgação aparece que no hotel há 4 restaurantes e que os mesmo funcionam até às 22horas. Nós chegamos às 20:30 e um dos restaurantes estava com um evento e os outros fechados. Favor melhorar a divulgação de restaurantes do hotel pois não está correta.

Room was a bit dated and the bathroom was old fashioned and a bit rundown. Mirrors have mercury coating at the edges and the toilet bowl and basin a bit dirty.

フロントの方が親切でした。ただ、施設そのものが古かったほか、部屋の浴室に黒カビが複数ありました。 また、朝食（洋食ビュッフェ）の品数が少なかったです。総合的にまったく満足できない宿泊体験でした。

Only positive is the location. Very dated hotel, bathrooms were very old, mouldy and peeling. Cleaning staff were lovely, front desk staff were not very friendly.

Location was marvellous. We could head to any attraction from this spot directly across from the train and bus stations. The room was super clean. The staff helped with vegetarian restaurants near by.

受付の方々のご対応には満足だったのですが、客室内の清掃が行き届いておらず、部屋の隅には髪の毛、排気口には埃が溜まっていました。 また、シャワー後に使用したバスタオルに問題があったようで、胴回りに発疹が出てしました。 駅近で便利な立地ではありますが、衛生面で改善いただきたいです。

Stayed our last 3 nights of trip here as our goto hotels were booked up. Everything was great in the room besides the cleaniness of the washrooms. We had 2 rooms for our family and both washrooms were horrendous. Mildew, mold and deep grime on the ledges. The moment I walked in after check-in I took a Kleenex to wipe the ledge above the sink to see if they were scratches.. no! It's deep grime and even after several wipes I didn't get it cleaned so it's been like that for ages! Disgusting! The washroom door frames of both room where full of mildew/mold. It's not up to Japanese cleaniness standards and the staff may not be given the time or instructions to address deep cleaning of the washrooms? Also how did past guests not file complaints or they are content culturally to have such a dirty washroom? Very unfortunate for the convinence of this hotel location. We will not return having experienced other excellent Kyoto hotels next the the station for similar price point. Hope the mgmt will cross check their cleaning staff training and procedures.

The hotel was clean

There is some molds in the shower. and the toilet smells funny. Other than that staff and services are awesome.

Room was spacious and comfy

Very convenient location near Kyoto Station. Lots of dining options nearby. Good buffet breakfast available in the restaurant. Rooms were large, and did not feel cramped for a family of 3 adults. Water pressure is good though. Watch out for rhe beds and pillows - they are on the firm side. Adequate bumber of electrical outlets. Wifi and wired connections were available and internet speed was fast. Staff very helpful and courteous.

교통이 매우 편하며 시설은 오래 되었으나 깨끗하게 관리되어 있었습니다. 다만 방음이 잘 되지 않아 흠이었습니다.

Very convenient to train station, but noisy at night - there are constant door bell (ding dong) noises from the escalator, as well as some emergency sirens (from the hospital across the road).

The AC in our room did not work. This is the main reason why I rated so low. We asked to change rooms and all they did was send someone up to open our window. We had to close the window to sleep to cut down on the noise and pull the shades down. This made it very uncomfortable to sleep. Aside from the AC, the room was okay. The water pressure was off the charts too. A great location but if you don’t get a good night’s rest it ruins your day.

No matter how low we set the thermostat, the room was always unbearably hot.

I had been to kyoto many times but this is the first time to stay in this hotel. The location is excellent, right across from the Kyoto train/bus stations. There is an underground entrance to dining, shopping and train station. However, the hotel rooms are a kind of small and old, no USB outlets. Our room was facing east and the morning sun made the room extremely hot and stuffy. The air conditioner didn’t seem to work. I was told by the front desk that the heater had been turned on in November. The window was locked and unable to open. It was uncomfortable to sleep in the heat. We asked for a fan. The staff were helpful and courteous.

The hotel is a bit dated but perfectly located across the street from Kyoto train station. All the staff were helpful and polite. The only issue we had with our room was the air conditioning was not delivering enough cold air to circulate in the room. Other than that, great spot for accessing the city’s public transportation !

Older hotel, did not need to scan key to access your floor so could be a safety/security issue if you ask me. Front desk was not very helpful, asked for help with luggage transfer, got handed a pamphlet and basically got told to figure it out…then had cleaning come into our room after we had the “no cleaning/ do not disturb” ” signs on the door, they did not even knock, while we were half asleep and not properly dressed, very uncomfortable and felt like an intrusion of privacy, for price was ok but wouldn’t stay again.

The hotel staff provided excellent customer. I had an issue with transferring my luggage to this hotel but they took care of it in a swiftly manner and successfully received my luggage on time before checkout. Even though it was their first time dealing with such an issue, they handled it gracefully. The hotel room I got was clean and spacious, and it was a convenient location near Kyoto Station. I felt safe in this area. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay in Kyoto!

It was a short stay since we had to catch an early train the next morning, but this place checked all the boxes. The service from the front desk was perfect showing excellent care. The rooms feels old-school, but that was nice. The amenities and the beds were comfortable. Our room was very quiet. The location is also very convenient being close to the Train station AND the breakfast buffet was amazing! High marks all around!

３連泊しましたが、ホテルは京都駅のすぐ目の前にあり、雨の日は地下を通れば出口から数秒の近さです。ホテルの近くにはコンビニがあり、また土産は殆ど京都駅内で購入できるので、立地的にすごく便利です。 スタッフの方も非常に親切で雨の日には出掛けようとした際、スタッフの方から「傘をお貸ししますよ」と声をかけて頂き、大変助かりました。また是非、利用したいと思います。

This is a traditional, renovated hotel in a distinctly oriental style. Elegant, comfortable, and centrally located. Right next to the train station.

Perfect hotel, right across the street from Kyoto station. Use the underground entrance from right outside the hotel and you don't even have to cross the street. On a rainy day, you could access the station with only being outside for less than 2 seconds. The underground mall had enough restaurant options that you never had to go far. Kyoto is very busy but if you get to attractions early, you will have the place to yourself and it is absolutely gorgeous.

It is conveniently close right across the Kyoto Station. There are plenty of dining options in the station as well as the surrounding areas. Shopping is also convenient and the subway as well as the buses are close by. The staff was very accommodating and helpful with directions to anywhere we needed to go. They even stores our suitcases due to our early arrival and late departure.

Location, I didn’t like the breafast

The hotel is right outside Kyoto station and pretty convenient for taking city trains or for day trips. Breakfast is not to par. Rooms are nice but the bedding could be better. If you don’t want to use city trains or buses, cabs are conveniently available outside. It is within walking distances to lots of cafes and food areas.

バイキングスタイルの朝食は、京都らしさがなく、種類が少なく、少しがっかりしました。

Ótima localização, funcionários muito atenciosos. O único ponto de atenção são os horários de atendimento dos restaurantes. Apesar de estar indicado que existem 4 restaurantes os horários de atendimento são limitado a e não correspondem ao que está divulgado (até as 22horas) . Chegamos de viagem às 20hs e tivemos que buscar restaurantes na redondeza pois os restaurantes já estavam fechados.
