Very nice clean place to stay. Great breeze freeze from sliding door, can see the ocean and hear the waves all night . Parking a challenge but easy street parking if needed. I think I The parking was due to housekeepers there cleaning and people arriving at same time.

This is a great place to stay, especially to explore the southern side of Kauai. The condo is super clean and well equipped with everything you need for meals. The furniture is comfortable, especially for a VRBO. Plenty of beach towels and linens. The grounds are beautiful, the pool area is fantastic and #205 overlooks a gorgeous park. Lots of chickens and the roosters start their day very early, so be aware of that. The walls are fairly thin, I would say, but nothing different than any other condo and it's a fairly quiet complex overall. There is a place to snorkel just across the road, there is also a walking path next to the street as well that makes it easy to get in a good walk (Poipu beach is about 1.5 miles away). Laundry room on site with standard prices and has a sink. Owners were responsive to any texts etc. Highly recommended!

Very nice vintage vibe of Prince Kuhio condos complex is beautiful and well maintained. The pool is very newly renovated with tile and stone. The grounds are a botanical garden with stunning trees and abundant orchids. Parking options are great. BBQ area is nice and clean with a potted herb garden! The unit is perfectly laid out for capturing the breeze without the need for AC in May. View of the ocean and park are sweet. The birds are not a problem if you go to bed and rise on their schedule (lovely - no joke). We usually prepare our own meals and the kitchen is good for that. We have been to Kauai many times over the years and try to swim and snorkel in the ocean every day, so Lawai Beach (PK) is only a few minutes walk away and is paradise found. We really loved our stay and the hosts are awesome. We will be back if possible and stay more time than before.

We had a great time and would recommend this property. The complex is just down the road from Poipu beach (5-10 minute drive) and away from the touristy hustle and bustle of that area. The grills and pool in the complex are very nice and we cooked a few meals with no complaints. The property itself is very clean and perfect for two people. We visited in November and could get a very nice breeze at night opening all the windows and leaving the sliding door partially open. We used the boogie boards, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, and beach towels every day at Brennecke’s or Poipu beach.

This place was a great hub for our south shore activities. We enjoyed our view, the kitchen, the property was gorgeous, ease of parking, and great communication from the hosts. Also, the property manager was really nice and helpful. It’s important to leave the key in the lock box at all times (which I was informed to do before but totally spaced on). This is important because the wind could cause like a vacuum in the condo and shut the door unintentionally. I went inside the condo and put my stuff down (along with the door key) and then stepped outside to see what my boyfriend was doing and the door shut behind me. The property workers were helpful in this situation and getting us back inside. Just keep the key in the lockbox at all times and don’t do what I did. Anyways, everything was clean and we had everything we needed to make breakfast in the morning. We enjoyed watching the chickens in Kuhio park. Bring quarters to do laundry. The housekeepers like to use the laundry facilities in the mornings.

Overall the condo was pretty much as advertised on the listing. The location was great and central to everything on the island. The only minor issue was around parking. We had to park in the garage the first night and all of the parking spots designated for the Prince Kuhio condos in the garage were full. We were able to talk to the guy monitoring the parking garage and he let us park in a spot which was reserved for the condo complex next door. We were able to get a parking spot in the garage or the front parking lot the remainder of the stay. Only other minor complaint was that the outside deck was pretty much unusable since it was too small to put a chair or table for sitting. It would be nice if it was a few feet deeper to allow sitting outside similar to the units below it or further down the row. The sitting room inside the unit was nice though and we were able to open the door to the deck when sitting there.

Property is close to the beach, activities, shopping and a great restaurant. Prince Kuhio grounds are lovey, people are friendly and the pool is refreshing. Ample parking in parking structure. It was a bit warm with the bedroom in the center (Fan but no AC) but the living room in the rear of the unit was awesome for sunrise and general relaxing while watching and listening to the water. Cleaning wasn't done until 3:45 so we had to wait to get in.No outlets (or extension cords) near both sides of bed for electronics so bring a multi plug adapter. Remember to bring a bar of soap for the shower! We forgot ours and had none upon arrival.

If you are looking for a condo which looks and smells like the 60s then this is your place. Bugs everywhere. We shut all doors and as there is no AC, needless to say we had a miserable night. Kitchen was terrible. Glasses were dirty and had numerous water stains. Utensils were dirty and one knife handle had grease on it. The coffee maker was dirty. Refrigerator door was taped together with duct tape. Sheets had yellow stains which looked like urine stains. Comforter had dark stains on it. Throw pillows had numerous stains. Easy to see stains as pillow was gold. Weather stripping missing from front door, therefore, bugs in the condo. Both of us had bug bites after the overnight stay. Sliding screen had a patch to cover a hole. We were not advised there were 15 steps to reach the second floor. Extremely hard to carry large luggage. The balcony is about 2 feet wide and not nearly enough room for two adults. We have been visiting Kauai since 1984 as we have family who arrived Kauai in the 1800s. Booked thousands of dollars on different activities for 8 days. This is by far the worst place we have ever stayed. When we checked out the next morning, Jim Boitnott, one of the owners, called asking if we were moving out. His manager went to our condo and found there was no luggage in the room. Not once did he ask if there was a problem. He asked three times if we were going to be staying in the condo. It appears he was going to rent it out again.

We had a great time at this condo, the location is amazing with a great snorkeling beach right across the street. Parking was easy and the condo was very clean. The host was very responsive and helpful if needed, and the check in/out process was very easy.

We did not use pool or bbq area but enjoyed the beautiful setting. My friend and I appreciated the cleanliness, the fully equipped kitchen and, especially the sitting area to enjoy the sunrise and for relaxation.

Clean cozy condo with all the amenities needed to enjoy your stay in Hawaii. There was even beach chairs, umbrellas and snorkeling gear. We panicked at first because there was no air conditioning, but as soon as we opened the place up it cooled right down and we enjoyed the cool Hawaii breeze.

Great location on Kuaui on the South shore near Koloa. There is a good view of the ocean from condo. We did not like the closed in Lanai. Also there were curtains that obscured the view of the water in the middle of the full length windows providing a view of the ocean. You have to take a short walk to Lawai beach to watch the sunset. The other thing to know is that there are a lot of feral chickens, which means roosters in the morning.

Great property. Great location. Building an unit were very well designed, providing amazing views of the ocean and mountains from the Lanai. Air flow, with the aid of ceiling fans, was excellent throughout the unit, providing refreshing temps and air all the time. Design with the living room/inside lanai adjacent to the outside lanai was excellent, providing wonderful views and breezes all the the time. Outside lanai, though small, was perfect for coffee and breakfast, and watching the sunrise. Unit was supplied with everything we needed, and Host Jim was very responsive. Location was great for exploring all of the island, from Koke'e to Hanalei! Thanks for the great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jim’s place. We loved being able to open the balcony door and get a nice breeze through the place. The location was great with beaches nearby. We would happily stay here again!

Room was nice and comfortable and love the decor, everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Felt very safe , views from unit were outstanding…looking out at the Prince Kuhio Park and the sea …lulled to sleep with the waves upon the rocks on the shoreline…only drawback was no a/c…there is always a trade wind breeze but it was still very warm.

This was a lovely home away from home, with a fantastic view, plenty of space for 2, and convenient access to all Kauai delights. Absence of AC was offset by nice fans (couldn't turn the bedroom off) and ocean breeze.

Overall the condo was pretty much as advertised on the listing. The location was great and central to everything on the island. The only minor issue was around parking. We had to park in the garage the first night and all of the parking spots designated for the Prince Kuhio condos in the garage were full. We were able to talk to the guy monitoring the parking garage and he let us park in a spot which was reserved for the condo complex next door. We were able to get a parking spot in the garage or the front parking lot the remainder of the stay. Only other minor complaint was that the outside deck was pretty much unusable since it was too small to put a chair or table for sitting. It would be nice if it was a few feet deeper to allow sitting outside similar to the units below it or further down the row. The sitting room inside the unit was nice though and we were able to open the door to the deck when sitting there.

If you are looking for a condo which looks and smells like the 60s then this is your place. Bugs everywhere. We shut all doors and as there is no AC, needless to say we had a miserable night. Kitchen was terrible. Glasses were dirty and had numerous water stains. Utensils were dirty and one knife handle had grease on it. The coffee maker was dirty. Refrigerator door was taped together with duct tape. Sheets had yellow stains which looked like urine stains. Comforter had dark stains on it. Throw pillows had numerous stains. Easy to see stains as pillow was gold. Weather stripping missing from front door, therefore, bugs in the condo. Both of us had bug bites after the overnight stay. Sliding screen had a patch to cover a hole. We were not advised there were 15 steps to reach the second floor. Extremely hard to carry large luggage. The balcony is about 2 feet wide and not nearly enough room for two adults. We have been visiting Kauai since 1984 as we have family who arrived Kauai in the 1800s. Booked thousands of dollars on different activities for 8 days. This is by far the worst place we have ever stayed. When we checked out the next morning, Jim Boitnott, one of the owners, called asking if we were moving out. His manager went to our condo and found there was no luggage in the room. Not once did he ask if there was a problem. He asked three times if we were going to be staying in the condo. It appears he was going to rent it out again.

This condo was in a great location and has beautiful views. The picture does show a table on the balcony, but there was no furniture on balcony for our visit. Unfortunately, when we got there, they were working on the water so we had no water for over 5 hours. If we would have known, we would have moved things around. I honestly think it was just an oversight of communication, but really put a damper on our first night. I think it’s important to note that there is no AC and you can’t leave the windows/doors open when you leave so coming back it can be a little stuffy. But overall, this was a great place to enjoy Kauai.

Even though it was brief, we had a wonderful stay at this condo, even though it was brief. It had a lovely garden and ocean view and a gorgeous, breezy sun room that made it so easy to relax. The hosts were incredibly kind, accommodating and communicative, ensuring everything went smoothly. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay – highly recommend!

This was a wonderful place to stay for two adults to enjoy the Poipu area. It is a thoughtfully designed space that lives much larger than the actual square footage. It is well supplied and made us feel as if whatever we needed was there. A special aspect is that it is short walking distance to one of the more rewarding accessible snorkeling spots on the South Shore in front of the Beach House Restaurant. Jim, the owner, was extremely responsive and a very nice person to interact with. Hard to imagine someone being disappointed to stay at PK205

This is a great place to stay, especially to explore the southern side of Kauai. The condo is super clean and well equipped with everything you need for meals. The furniture is comfortable, especially for a VRBO. Plenty of beach towels and linens. The grounds are beautiful, the pool area is fantastic and #205 overlooks a gorgeous park. Lots of chickens and the roosters start their day very early, so be aware of that. The walls are fairly thin, I would say, but nothing different than any other condo and it's a fairly quiet complex overall. There is a place to snorkel just across the road, there is also a walking path next to the street as well that makes it easy to get in a good walk (Poipu beach is about 1.5 miles away). Laundry room on site with standard prices and has a sink. Owners were responsive to any texts etc. Highly recommended!

We had a great time at this condo, the location is amazing with a great snorkeling beach right across the street. Parking was easy and the condo was very clean. The host was very responsive and helpful if needed, and the check in/out process was very easy.

This was our second time to Kauai. We did a very laid back trip this time. We knew where we wanted to go back to revisit/hike. Any time we reached out to Jim he was very quick to respond back to our inquiries. Great location to watch the sunset.

Great location on Kuaui on the South shore near Koloa. There is a good view of the ocean from condo. We did not like the closed in Lanai. Also there were curtains that obscured the view of the water in the middle of the full length windows providing a view of the ocean. You have to take a short walk to Lawai beach to watch the sunset. The other thing to know is that there are a lot of feral chickens, which means roosters in the morning.

Great property. Great location. Building an unit were very well designed, providing amazing views of the ocean and mountains from the Lanai. Air flow, with the aid of ceiling fans, was excellent throughout the unit, providing refreshing temps and air all the time. Design with the living room/inside lanai adjacent to the outside lanai was excellent, providing wonderful views and breezes all the the time. Outside lanai, though small, was perfect for coffee and breakfast, and watching the sunrise. Unit was supplied with everything we needed, and Host Jim was very responsive. Location was great for exploring all of the island, from Koke'e to Hanalei! Thanks for the great stay!

We had a great time and would recommend this property. The complex is just down the road from Poipu beach (5-10 minute drive) and away from the touristy hustle and bustle of that area. The grills and pool in the complex are very nice and we cooked a few meals with no complaints. The property itself is very clean and perfect for two people. We visited in November and could get a very nice breeze at night opening all the windows and leaving the sliding door partially open. We used the boogie boards, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, and beach towels every day at Brennecke’s or Poipu beach.

Great food nearby: Beach House restaurant; Da Crack Mexican; Living Foods & Old Town Koloa Town (best poke burrito ever at Kenji Burger).

Very nice vintage vibe of Prince Kuhio condos complex is beautiful and well maintained. The pool is very newly renovated with tile and stone. The grounds are a botanical garden with stunning trees and abundant orchids. Parking options are great. BBQ area is nice and clean with a potted herb garden! The unit is perfectly laid out for capturing the breeze without the need for AC in May. View of the ocean and park are sweet. The birds are not a problem if you go to bed and rise on their schedule (lovely - no joke). We usually prepare our own meals and the kitchen is good for that. We have been to Kauai many times over the years and try to swim and snorkel in the ocean every day, so Lawai Beach (PK) is only a few minutes walk away and is paradise found. We really loved our stay and the hosts are awesome. We will be back if possible and stay more time than before.

We did not use pool or bbq area but enjoyed the beautiful setting. My friend and I appreciated the cleanliness, the fully equipped kitchen and, especially the sitting area to enjoy the sunrise and for relaxation.
We did not use pool or bbq area but enjoyed the beautiful setting. My friend and I appreciated the cleanliness, the fully equipped kitchen and, especially the sitting area to enjoy the sunrise and for relaxation.

My spouse and I enjoyed our stay in Poipu for Thanksgiving. The condo is pretty much right across from Lawa'i Beach which offered beautiful sunsets every night. There's also a popular restaurant right there called the Beach House. The condo was clean and had plenty of towels, beach towels, and beach gear. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat breakfast at the condo each morning. The view off the little deck and living room / lanai was beautiful and the lanai was a good spot to relax. My only complaint was that the windows in the lanai did not close (they were above the deck doors and were the shutter kind), due to the sea spray over time. This meant we couldn't block out the wind when it was very windy the first couple days, and it would have been nice to block out more of the sounds of the roosters and Parakeets (we were warned about the Parakeets and had ear plugs for sleeping, but the roosters were loud at all hours, day and night). Otherwise, we had a great stay and I would recommend staying here.

The stay was awesome! Views of the ocean. Beautiful grounds plus great swimming pool! Close to Restaurants and shopping! Well stocked for a Condo! Great communication with owners! A perfect Hawaiian Get-a-way…….🌴🌺🌺🌺

The property was great. I enjoyed being lulled to sleep every night by the ocean that was so close by. The bonus beach supplies- chairs, beach umbrella, snorkeling gear and cooler were a great surprise. Well stocked kitchen. The grounds are well maintained and so pretty. The hosts were so good at communicating with me despite my slow responses to them. Loved the location. Parking was not a problem. The roosters, chickens and parakeets were entertaining. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you for the awesome place to call home away from home.

Great location and great price. Have to talk about the roosters though. These guys wake up anywhere from 0045 to 0330 and choose violence. I had to sleep with earplugs and noise canceling headphones. Go to bed early because you will be up very early.
