It says parking is included. When I arrived I waited for a long time for parking and eventually they told me that they don't have anything that I need to wait or just cancel. What an inconvenience.

Great place! Oceanview room with the beach 10 yards away. Parking was initially an issue since you can't park easily to check in and get your parking pass.

Estadia otima, com vista para o mar. Hotel pé na areia. Cadeiras para apreciar o mar o dia inteiro, com todo conforto. Banheiro e chuveiro excelentes. Boa limpeza. Muito agradável! Estacionamento em local fechado, descoberto, proximo da pousada. Não é dentro da pousada. Cafe da manhã e uso de duas piscinas do Resort Tamarindo Diria! Café excelenteeee!!! Pôr do sol inesquecivel!

Staff was extremely courteous and welcoming. The only issue we had with the room was the pillows were a little bit uncomfortable, and there was nowhere to hang your clothing No Closet. The fact that you get access to the amenities at the Tamarindo Diriá resort made all the difference. The breakfast were magnificent. All is beautiful. Lots to do around the beach.

Literally right on the beach; the photos look EXACTLY like what you will get! The staff is super nice and helpful. The property is gated at the front and beach entrance, and there is even a security guard to keep the riffraff out at night. You won't get all the amenities of a hotel, but you will not find a better spot and the price is exceptional.

Really nice place, quiet with private access directly to the beach. You also have access to the pools of the hotel next door. The breakfast was really good and tables were avalable with a nice view on the beach.

Lovely stay! Pamela and Naomi, the two receptionists, are so sweet and always greet you with a smile— they are awesome. It is safe, clean and right on the beach. The back gate opens directly onto the beach. It’s amazing! There is a security guard at night so you can always feel safe. Great for single travellers and couples. Really loved my stay here everyone is really nice and I can’t wait to go back. Breakfast is included in your stay - it’s a delicious buffet across the street offered through their sister hotel (Diria Tamarindo). The beach is beautiful and lots of fun shops and a great beach to learn to surf.

I Love this hotel. I have lived in Costa Rica 10 years in the Central Valley close to SJO airport for my work. My wife and I enjoy the beaches of Guanacaste so when I have a block of days off we will make the run to Tamarindo. She found Hotel Perla on the beach so we wanted try it out. It is now our go to place! Why: 1. Directly on the beach. Our room is separated by 75' of grass and lounge chairs then the sand. The ocean varies because of the tide. At high tide there is typically 20-30 surfers enjoying the waves. We swam every day. 2. Customer service checking in and hotel questions is excellent. 3. Free breakfast is a 2-minute walk to Hotel Diria. Excellent buffet. 4. Access to two pools. One at Diria on the beach and my favorite across the street (Diria Condos) with water features and an awesome swim up bar. 5. Easy safe and secure free self parking if you have a car. 6. Easy walking distance to 25+ restaurants and bars, boutique shops and a little market directly next door for things you might need for the room. Hotel Perla was recently remodeled. We prefer more of a local type hotel vs the fancier Diria next door for about double the price. (Same owner) Pura vida!

Good location, friendly start, not the cleanest. The noise was unbearable specially when they started doing construction at midnight while talking between each other very loud. We stayed in room 1 and one of the beds was so hard that felt like camping. On the bright side, breakfast at Diria Hotel and the Diria pool was very good.

We lucked upon a vacancy in this hotel when our air B&b did work out the setting right on the beach with chairs in the private garden was perfect the two young women who staffed the desk went out of their way to be helpful the rest of the staff was friendly rooms are basic but clean hotel is near lots of restaurants unless you want delux this is a great choice go for the ocean view rooms

TRES BRUILLANT. 1-Nous avons eu la pire des chambres (la 1) qui est juste a coté de la reception: toute personne entrant sortant de l hotel passe devant, ce qui en fait une place tres bruillante; complexe pour coucher nos enfants en bas age... 2-Un garde veille a la securité de l etablissement la nuit. Il fait des appels telephonique dans le corridor, et nous a reveillé a plusieures reprises. 3- notre chambre donnait egalement sur la rue, une rue tres passante par des camions, voitures, motos, ... en tout temps. La chambre etait tres propre, l acces a l hotel 4 etoile de l autre coté de la route est un plus et le service pour les bagages tres accomodant, raison pour laquelle nous ajoutons une 3ieme etoile. La plage de Tamarindo a enormement changé, on se croirait au Niagara du costa rica, ou a Disney de Miami. La nature n y est plus, et a fait place aux hordes de touristes. Enfin, Tamarindo est la place la plus chere que nous avons visité au Costa rica, un soupé coute le double que la moyenne que nous avons payé a travers le pays.

This property is right on the ocean and right in the middle of the strip - everything walkable. The room is basic & small but it was only a one night stop for us. If staying longer, I would look into the rooms with patio door walkout. Clean, Bathroom w/ a shower with great water pressure, TV, small fridge and toiletries. Free Parking & free breakfast was just a 5 minute walk away across the street at larger hotel owned by same owner. Breakfast was delicious & great coffee/juices - buffet but guy there to make eggs/omelets/crepes. Excellent price (for Tamarindo) for being right on the beach and free breakfast!

This place is a pearl. Naomi is an excellent host. The cleaning ladies were excellent. The grounds were excellent. Kevin at the bar was excellent. The breakfast was excellent The only issue is no coffee. It wouldn’t take make to have a coffee pot for the guests.

La chambre etait tres propre, l acces a l hotel 4 etoile de l autre coté de la route est un plus et le service pour les bagages tres accomodant, raison pour laquelle nous ajoutons une 3ieme etoile. La plage de Tamarindo a enormement changé, on se croirait au Niagara du costa rica, ou a Disney de Miami. La nature n y est plus, et a fait place aux hordes de touristes. Enfin, Tamarindo est la place la plus chere que nous avons visité au Costa rica, un soupé coute le double que la moyenne que nous avons payé a travers le pays.
TRES BRUILLANT. 1-Nous avons eu la pire des chambres (la 1) qui est juste a coté de la reception: toute personne entrant sortant de l hotel passe devant, ce qui en fait une place tres bruillante; complexe pour coucher nos enfants en bas age... 2-Un garde veille a la securité de l etablissement la nuit. Il fait des appels telephonique dans le corridor, et nous a reveillé a plusieures reprises. 3- notre chambre donnait egalement sur la rue, une rue tres passante par des camions, voitures, motos, ... en tout temps. Staff was extremely courteous and welcoming. The only issue we had with the room was the pillows were a little bit uncomfortable, and there was nowhere to hang your clothing No Closet. The fact that you get access to the amenities at the Tamarindo Diriá resort made all the difference. The breakfast were magnificent. All is beautiful. Lots to do around the beach.

Loved the location and easy access to beach. Rooms are dated for the price. Walls and windows very thin that on weekends all people riding bikes with loud noise you could hear till late night. It got quiet at 3 am. But lived the beach side. The ocean view, and laying on beach chairs in the back.

This property is right on the ocean and right in the middle of the strip - everything walkable. The room is basic & small but it was only a one night stop for us. If staying longer, I would look into the rooms with patio door walkout. Clean, Bathroom w/ a shower with great water pressure, TV, small fridge and toiletries. Free Parking & free breakfast was just a 5 minute walk away across the street at larger hotel owned by same owner. Breakfast was delicious & great coffee/juices - buffet but guy there to make eggs/omelets/crepes. Excellent price (for Tamarindo) for being right on the beach and free breakfast!

We lucked upon a vacancy in this hotel when our air B&b did work out the setting right on the beach with chairs in the private garden was perfect the two young women who staffed the desk went out of their way to be helpful the rest of the staff was friendly rooms are basic but clean hotel is near lots of restaurants unless you want delux this is a great choice go for the ocean view rooms

Literally right on the beach; the photos look EXACTLY like what you will get! The staff is super nice and helpful. The property is gated at the front and beach entrance, and there is even a security guard to keep the riffraff out at night. You won't get all the amenities of a hotel, but you will not find a better spot and the price is exceptional.

Lovely stay! Pamela and Naomi, the two receptionists, are so sweet and always greet you with a smile— they are awesome. It is safe, clean and right on the beach. The back gate opens directly onto the beach. It’s amazing! There is a security guard at night so you can always feel safe. Great for single travellers and couples. Really loved my stay here everyone is really nice and I can’t wait to go back. Breakfast is included in your stay - it’s a delicious buffet across the street offered through their sister hotel (Diria Tamarindo). The beach is beautiful and lots of fun shops and a great beach to learn to surf.

I Love this hotel. I have lived in Costa Rica 10 years in the Central Valley close to SJO airport for my work. My wife and I enjoy the beaches of Guanacaste so when I have a block of days off we will make the run to Tamarindo. She found Hotel Perla on the beach so we wanted try it out. It is now our go to place! Why: 1. Directly on the beach. Our room is separated by 75' of grass and lounge chairs then the sand. The ocean varies because of the tide. At high tide there is typically 20-30 surfers enjoying the waves. We swam every day. 2. Customer service checking in and hotel questions is excellent. 3. Free breakfast is a 2-minute walk to Hotel Diria. Excellent buffet. 4. Access to two pools. One at Diria on the beach and my favorite across the street (Diria Condos) with water features and an awesome swim up bar. 5. Easy safe and secure free self parking if you have a car. 6. Easy walking distance to 25+ restaurants and bars, boutique shops and a little market directly next door for things you might need for the room. Hotel Perla was recently remodeled. We prefer more of a local type hotel vs the fancier Diria next door for about double the price. (Same owner) Pura vida!

This place is a pearl. Naomi is an excellent host. The cleaning ladies were excellent. The grounds were excellent. Kevin at the bar was excellent. The breakfast was excellent The only issue is no coffee. It wouldn’t take make to have a coffee pot for the guests.

Estadia otima, com vista para o mar. Hotel pé na areia. Cadeiras para apreciar o mar o dia inteiro, com todo conforto. Banheiro e chuveiro excelentes. Boa limpeza. Muito agradável! Estacionamento em local fechado, descoberto, proximo da pousada. Não é dentro da pousada. Cafe da manhã e uso de duas piscinas do Resort Tamarindo Diria! Café excelenteeee!!! Pôr do sol inesquecivel!

I would have loved to have given this place a 5-star rating, but we had some issues during our stay. Unfortunately a family of coati/raccoons found shelter above our room and made noise all night. They caught some of them, but they came back every night of our stay. And the internet was down our entire stay, they only reconnected it 10 minutes before we left. Otherwise the property location can't be beat. And access and breakfast at the Diria resort next door is a definite bonus.

One at Diria on the beach and my favorite across the street (Diria Condos) with water features and an awesome swim up bar. 5. Easy safe and secure free self parking if you have a car. 6. Easy walking distance to 25+ restaurants and bars, boutique shops and a little market directly next door for things you might need for the room. Hotel Perla was recently remodeled. We prefer more of a local type hotel vs the fancier Diria next door for about double the price. (Same owner) Pura vida!

This was exactly what we were looking for on Costa Rica's Pacific coast. The location was fantastic, with a lively, upscale atmosphere and plenty of restaurants, shops, and people enjoying the area. We loved being able to walk around and soak in the local vibe. Naomi was exceptional! She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay special. Every interaction with her left us smiling. The bartenders were also wonderful, the food was consistently delicious, and the security staff made me feel safe each evening while traveling with my teenage daughter. One experience I'll never forget is when Lydia and I were caught in a rip current. The lifeguards were watching closely, responded immediately, and rescued us. Their professionalism and quick actions likely saved our lives, and I will always be grateful. The only thing to be aware of is that vendors regularly walk the beach selling souvenirs, tours, and other items. They're persistent but respectful, and a simple "No, gracias" works well. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Great staff, excellent food, a beautiful location, and an atmosphere that made us feel relaxed and welcome. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

De la Playa was amazing. We had security at night to make us feel safe. We had access to its sister hotel right next door, the Tamarindo Diara. Both hotels were right on the beach with beautiful ocean views. Highly recommend this property, staff was amazing, you will not be disappointed, will be back soon
