I feel that the lift needs to fix.

The life wasnt working and i tried to call the the receptionist no one would answer the phone (called about 10 times)

This hotel was not as described. The lift was not working, but I wasn't given the chance to cancel and receive a refund The room was tiny and not air conditioned.

Lift doesn’t work hasnot worked for a month not even informed before the stay to give option to cancel and put on 5th floor 12 flights of stairs with bad knees . Tap in room spinning around absolute not fit for pupose Bags of rubbish and laundry everywhere in corridors

Staff was nice & accomodating. The location was very good. The rooms were extremely small. No room to open the luggage. Very outdated. No A/C. Windows don't open propwely. We had to pay to store our luggage. 5 pou ds per. Ag.we'll never go back

Elevator was broken and we have 4th floor room. Really bad service

The room was a furnace. Read the fine print - no A/C. Carpets were severely soiled and worn. Areas of the walls were cracked and haphazardly caulked. Entire building had a terrible mildew smell. Linen storage all over the common areas.

5th floor room, lift/elevator broken - not in service not accessible for anyone unable to climb narrow stairs. No A/C,wall fan broken, lights broken on bed. Staff was nice, super small rooms but comfy beds, bathroom decent. Would probably not stay again.

The good thing about this hotel is the location. Being close to Paddington station makes it easy to get to end from Heathrow. But the hotel itself is pretty shabby. Paper thin walls. Awful shower with no water pressure. No ventilation or air condition. Slow and tiny elevator. At least it has decent and free wifi and OK beds.

Staff seemed friendly, hotels in great location however woke up in the morning covered in bites, took a close look at my bed and was covered in bed bugs! Vile!

Room was very hot and noisy as Air Con units outside window which went off around midnight. Carpet filthy and furniture falling apart. Location Good. Bed and bathroom average.

I have been bitten all over my body by bed bugs! You need to clean the sheets!! I’m in a lot of pain because of staying here

The room was dirty, I used the shower so turned on the fan, that was covered in dust, this all fell in the sink. The chair was worn and falling apart. Good location, disappointing stay for the cost

The hotel is in a fantastic location: close to Paddington station, lots of bars and restaurants around the area. But, they need to update this hotel desperately. It’s outdated, filthy, wallpaper peeling off, TVs don’t work, just incredibly grubby. You’re paying for the location and not a nice nights sleep.

the cleanliness was not good

This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. 1- On the first room we got, the floor was so dusty and dirty. Went to take a look at the bathroom and someone’s USED clothes was there. The toilet bowl was dirty. In the bedroom there was a blood drop on the white sheets. The extra blanket we asked for had throw up (???) on it. 2-Asked for another room and the day after saw that that bed had blood all over the mattress (on the foot of the mattress). Both times complained and didn’t even get a “sorry” just “ we’ll fix it”. HORRIBLE SERVICE. 3- (this was the breaking point). I woke up on the final day with BED BUG BITES and the bed was covered in it. I’ve noticed over the days that they just remake the bed and don’t really change the sheets but didn’t have the energy to take that fight. I guess I should have because now I’m covered in bites. SAVE YOUR MONEY! AWFUL PLACE WITH AWFUL SERVICE!!

Rooms are very noisy and small. Very dirty carpets. But great staff,very kind and helpful Very good location nearby Paddington Station. But of course you can hear the Underground during the night.

Tv didn't work basically like a motel 6

Poky little room,disgusting carpet up my stairwell,room was away from main hotel so had to get someone to unlock the road door whenever I wanted to get back to room.Very noisy as faced the road.However,room was clean,had a jug so could make tea/coffee

This place is run down. Irregular stains, wear, peeling paint, molding shower area, falling apart furniture, etc. Bed is hard. You can hear the trains ( underground subway) all day and night up to 1230 am- ish. TV has about 5 channels: 3 crime and 1 craft and 1 very old movie channels which FREQUENTLY got scrambled and cut off. Only soap and shampoo provided, no tissue paper or lotion, etc. Only bath towels provided and no hand or wash towels. Reception desk people were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was sporadic and unreliable. I’m not sure if they only come to clean every other day or what. The best part was the tea kettle and free tea and coffee, however, once you consume them, I got no refills. The place was old and outdated but it was very convenient as it was literally across the street from Paddington station, about a minute walk.

The room was walk-in closet sized and the 2 beds were so small that I almost fell out when turning over. The bed was old school and squeaky. There was no room to put your luggage and the isle between the beds was not wide enough to fit your luggage to place under the bed. The TV looked like an old 27 inch computer monitor and we never turned it on. The water stopped running 3 times while in the shower... the staff was friendly enough and the room was cleaned every day but wouldn’t stay here again

Rooms are quite small, and road noise is quite loud. Mildew in the shower caulk. Little touches missing - like a towel hook on the back of the tiny bathroom or getting more than 1 towel (only a bath towel - no washcloth, hand towel, or floor towel). Read terms carefully - checked bags cost extra - doesn't matter when you get in from Heathrow. Plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby, and easy access to Paddington. So, you're not paying Hilton prices - but you're getting a very, very basic room.

As much as we enjoyed our stay and the staff are really lovely our room is in need of desperate repair the bathroom especially all towel racks hanging off the wall floor tiles moving hole in sink at side of tap and the shower took ages to drain which also accounts for the smell in there. And in the room sockets are loose.Gave us fresh towels daily and emptied our bins.However the hotel is very central with Paddington station a few minutes away so tube easily accessible plenty of shops and restaurants and Kensington park is about 15 minutes walk away. So overall a good stay but hotel needs some tlc

Very unprofessional. Staff would not let me check-in due it not being clear there was a security deposit that I could not afford. The receptionist was rude to me from the start as soon as I walked in

Stay was good. However, the service before the stay was shocking. Phone put down on a number of occaisions rather than dealing with the complaint. No flexibility with the issue that had arisen. It would have been nice if the manager had event listened and made an effort to try and rectify the issue.

Stayed 2 nights in August -25. I recommend staying here only if it is priced below other options. The overall impression is quite poor on arrival. We had 3 rooms on various floors and it ranged from "ok, we are just going to sleep here" to "f**k me we are changing hotels", with lack of cleaning and general appearance being the biggest complaint. Staff ranged from very pleasant to "full on screaming match", but since this was the same person it may have something to do with us as customers. :-) Baggage storage after check-out worked perfect, and proximity to Paddington station was a huge plus. As "a place to sleep" it kind-of worked, but would not stay here again unless it was significantly cheaper than other options.

The reception was extremely helpful and allowed very early entry to the room for a small fee and then allowed bag storage after we checked out for a small fee. It’s ideally located near main rail and bus connections and excellent food options nearby. Sure it’s budget accommodation but perfect for what we wanted. 24 hour reception staff are very helpful…

They will cheat you on your deposit if you are not careful. I reached out to them twice to clarify the matter. Twice by email, several months apart. They never did get back to me. I will lodge a formal complaint with Expedia for unsound business practices. They will cheat you. Beware.

The hotel is central close to Paddington underground. Not much noise from the street, quiet neighborhood. We were two people, mother and 11 year old son. Two single beds. They were firm and comfortable. The room was clean but very small. Little space for putting away clothes. Bed lamps on the wall was either not working or hanging loose. Curtains was not properly hanging. Good with a fan. The beds were made and changing of towels every day, even if the towels were hanging, in my opinion they don’t have to be changed every day, for environmental reasons. The one day where I needed the sheets on one bed to be changed (my son spilled Coca Cola), they didn’t do that. Just took out the stained ones. Had to ask for new sheets in the evening. The elevator was not working at this point.

Great value for money and location just opposite Paddington tube station. I stay regularly for work, staff are always so friendly and helpful.

Front desk staff both day and night were unhelpful. Not even tried to open the door for us with large suitcases. Night shift staff was just grumpy and day shift staff always talks to somebody (friends ?) in Arabic. Not even tried to offer help.

Convenient - very close to Paddington station

About block away from Paddington underground and a little about another block for the new Elizabeth underground line. Hotel is old so, space is like a capsule. Early check in fees, €25 and €5 per bag for left in baggage. I originally booked for 3 nights but changed to 1 Thursday night for expected average price. Friday and Saturday price charges was about $250 per night; I was not about to pay that much for a twin bed in a small capsule where an under seat luggage could be open on top of a cube chair. A single twin bed is good for a back pack space. The bathroom shower was modern and enough space to move around. The sink is the size of the airplane sink just for washing hands. I changed to a hotel at the LHR airport for about $150 per night for a double bed, more space and conveniently easy walkable access to the Elizabeth line. It’s about a 30 min train ride from Paddington which is not bad because it takes that much time to get around London. From Paddington anyway. T2&T3 and T4 hotels the easiest to get to on Elizabeth Line without transferring trains. T5 you have to transfer on T2T3 platform for T5 destination. LHR Express is the fastest way to T5 for €25 in 15 mins to Paddington. Ascot was good for a one night transitional place. Front desk could be a bit more friendlier but it’s hard to do when one sits on a tiny space smaller than a cubicle.

The property is tired, but the locations is excellent. Paddington is easy to walk around, safe, and not too noisy at night. The bathrooms in particular vary widely (we had 3 rooms) in condition and layout. I could barely squeeE my knees between stool and shower door, while another room was nicely laid out. Staff is polite, though several are busy smoking and guests seem to be an inconvenience. The price is telling - an excellent location at a surprisingly reasonable price means something has to give.

Location is excellent - only a minute walk to Paddington station and lots of shops and restaurants nearby( try the Fountains Abbey pub upstairs). Room was clean and comfortable. Would stay there again.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It is convenient for a few underground lines, quiet and comfortable. With the low price I managed to find it's a real gem and I will surely be back.

Very well located, very convenient for the fast link with Heathrow. Small room, but if you use it only for sleeping, it's fine.

The room was spacious and comfortable although the duvet was too hot and heavy for the summer.The entrance is rather disappointing and doesn't give a good impression.The shower room was modern and clean and the lift efficient.An acceptable hotel and very convenient for Paddington station.

We liked that the Hotel was so close to the Railway Station. Staff seemed helpful. The the Bed was firm and comfortable resulting in a good nights sleep. Might use again if the price was reasonable.

No intercom in to rooms, no meals, nothing..

The hotel rooms/structure is old and outdated needing a serious upgrade. It looks like this is a problem of the municipality. It is encouraging that the hotel is trying to update the rooms. The price for the rooms is exorbitant given that there is no breakfast-this does not have to be a feast but for that price it should be bed and breakfast. Also, I dont understand the hotel's need for guests to leave a deposit????

This hotel is clean. It is within walking distance to Paddington station and nearby stores & dining options. The building is in bad condition. Floors slant, corridor carpet is dirty, cannot fit more than 1 person in "lobby" to check in. No restaurant or place to meet, thin only body and floor towel, no hand towels unless asked for. 3 couples were all given twin beds. Hit arm on dresser every time I turned to get up out of bed, it was that small. Two singles given double beds but bed sagged. Price is high for area and does not include breakfast as others in area. Disappointed.
