Convenient stay on the edge of Lucerne. Rooms clean and well appointed, food was 5-star quality, parking convenient, but you can hop a bus across the street into town and leave the car at the hotel which you should do unless you want to spend the day sharking for parking. Overall an amazing value just outside of an amazing city.

Just 8 min outside of Lucerne but had great views from our room, a fantastic restaurant on site, breakfast was included, free parking. Also gave us a pass to take public transport into Lucerne if we desired.

The view over Lake Lucerne was great. Parking was super easy. We left our car at the hotel because we didn’t want to deal with parking in town. The bus stop is just across the street and a straight shot to all we wanted to see in Lucerne. The breakfast was amazing. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

Amazing stay we had at Hotel Balm in Meggen. Only one bus ride away from Lucerne main station. Our room is a family size room and it is very spacious. Very clean and quiet. Breakfast Is The Best out of all the hotels we stayed at in Switzerland for 2 weeks. Such generous variety and freshly served. The hotel does not have lift but Our hostess at check in lobby was most helpful with our heavy luggage. I would highly recommend Hotel Balm to anyone visiting Lucerne.

Beautiful location with friendly hotel staff. Doesn’t have AC but if it gets too got you can open the windows. Wonderful breakfast, especially when sitting outside. We enjoyed one night here. The free transportation pass is helpful to get into town.

This is a nice property in the quite and peaceful Meggen area. Its just a few minutes from Luzern and the city bus stop is right in front of the hotel, very convenient. We had breakfast included and it was lovely! The room was comfortable and spacious. The only minor suggestion I would make is a microwave and self service laundry. Regardless, I highly recommend this property.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Our checkin was simple, parking was great, it’s a beautiful spot, the staff was super helpful and gracious, and the rooms were large and comfortable. The breakfast was the best we’ve had on our two week trip in Europe - it was awesome!

Just 8 min outside of Lucerne but had great views from our room, a fantastic restaurant on site, breakfast was included, free parking. Also gave us a pass to take public transport into Lucerne if we desired.

The view over Lake Lucerne was great. Parking was super easy. We left our car at the hotel because we didn’t want to deal with parking in town. The bus stop is just across the street and a straight shot to all we wanted to see in Lucerne. The breakfast was amazing. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

The person who checked us in was very nice and took the time to explain the important sites in Lucerne and provided a map of where the sites were. The room was very clean and was updated. Even though there was no air conditioning, they provided a strong fan for each of the two bedrooms. The breakfast area was very nice and provided a beautiful view of the area. Selection at breakfast was very good. Also the bus stop was right across the street so it was easy to get around. I would recommend staying at this hotel!

The Balm is a beautifully updated and maintained hotel on the inside. The grounds could use a bit of work but overall a very nice hotel. We were amazed at the size of our room and the gorgeous bath. We didn’t swim but the pool looks very nice. The hotel staff were great! The bus into Lucerne was very easy to use too. We would be happy to stay again!
