We had a wonderful two night stay here!! Nice big room, great pool and whirlpool, tasty breakfast. Many fast food options within a short walking distance!! Owners were friendly and check in and out was easy!!

I rarely write reviews but this one is needed. This hotel is being remodeled from a Super 8. It is currently undergoing renovations. Our windows had an opaque plastic film over them because they were painting the siding. At night a couple employees were working to finish rooms by what looked like installing beds and other things. My second night there I could not sleep. There was a lot of walking, stomping and banging on the floor above me. This carried on through the night. I ASSUME it was the overnight workers working on rooms. At 3:30am I tried to call the front desk to ask about the noises. No one would pick up. I finally fell asleep somehow after this time. I would not recommend staying here until the place is complete for these reasons. I understand work needs to get done, but it should be done with consideration of guests and where they are staying in the building. Otherwise it's nicely coming along, nice breakfast. Loved the hot tub, pool and beds. The pool is shallow, but nice for younger kids. I would stay here again if it were done being renovated.

Very nice, updated hotel and the price was right. The clerk at the front desk was very nice and the lobby is very welcoming. Our room was very modern, and everything was in top condition. The room was very clean and so was the bathroom The bathroom had an amazing shower that felt like a good massage. It was a little on the small size, because there wasn't much room, but it was adequate. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were wonderful. Even with the temperatures at -22 below zero, our room was nice and warm. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The hot tub was great and deep, so it helped my sore neck. Breakfast was okay. I had a waffle and sausages. The eggs were scrambled, but square and they scared me, so I didn't try them. My biggest problem with our room was where to put our big winter coats. There is a small closet with an ironing board and two hooks. It was not big enough for our coats. In the space next to the closet, it would be nice to have a rack and some hangers. In Wisconsin this is very important, especially up north. We had all coffee cups in our room, and I would have liked plastic cups to be used for water.

Very comfy bed and pillows. Room was clean and well taken care of. Loved the hot tub! Deep and pool area was very clean. Pool was a nice size, as well, but we didn’t use it. It was obvious that the owners are very conscientious about the care of the property. I'd come back.

Upon entering the room, We had to kill fly's and Bugs on the ceiling. No extra toilet paper. Long black hairs in the bath tub... I was told upgrades were available for a small fee !! The next morning, Scrambled eggs were empty, White bread was empty, No Butter. And the Orange juice was empty...

The facility has been recently rebuilt, so the building/furniture/room were in good condition. The shower curtain had a big stain. There was no hair dryer in the room and the front desk attendant only grudgingly found one for us to use. She actually went into three other rooms before she found one. The breakfast area was very dirty, spilled waffle batter all over the counter, partially eaten food on the tables. Nobody around to tidy things up as guests ate. DISGUSTING!!!

They changed this over from a Super 8. What's that saying about putting lipstick on a pig? That applies here. Things look nice on the surface, but not when you start looking. Marks on the wall from when they installed the toilet paper holders; a bathroom door that was shaved down and the bare wood left with nothing on it to seal it; horrible metal bed frame that squeaked whenever you moved; terrible lamps that had an intentional bend to them so they always looked like they were going to fall over; door to room did not fit tight, there was light coming through the knob side and bottom. Made me wonder if someone could see in because I could certainly see out through the cracks. Not a bad place to stay, but I would have expected something a little better since they remodeled the place.

Very noisy, you can hear every time somebody opens and closes the door which didn’t stop till almost midnight and began again around 5 AM. Air-conditioning unit would not stay on nor would the fan and every time it shut off and turn back on it woke us up.

These hotel rooms are immaculately clean and the beds are very comfortable. The man working at night was extremely kind and helpful. My complaint is that this hotel is LOUD. You can hear everything. All night I could hear the person above me stomping, dogs barking, and doors slamming. In the morning the breakfast was very sparse, lots of things were gone. The lady at the front desk was also in charge of the breakfast and said she would get to it when she had time. There just wasnt enough food out for the people wanting breakfast.

Will never stay at this hotel again. Hallways were noisy at all of hours of the day. Fireworks being lit off in the parking lot. A dog barking in the hallway. Doors being slammed at midnight. Jetted tub in room was broke. Refrigerator was very noisy all day and night. Worse hotel experience I have ever had!!

I accidentally booked a king instead of two queens and they helped acquire a roll-away bed for me from an associate hotel not far away. Was very impressed with their willingness to help out.

First impressions decent looking property I have zero previous experience with AmericInn it smelled great and appeared clean and orderly. The lady at the counter stared at her phone on the counter in front of her for minutes while I stood at the desk wondering if I should call her an ambulance. I politely asked if I could check in a bit early since we got in town a bit sooner than expected and her response made me feel like I asked if I could sleep in her bed and she could make me some breakfast. Our next encounter was with a male with no shoes on at the front desk and asked him for three towels for the bathroom since I don’t prefer housekeeping in my room during my stay if it’s a short one. I was told I could have one. Wow. Impressive hospitality. Best part was I paid a month prior for my room using One Key credits and my visa but was charged again by the hotel days after checking out. At full price weekend rate of course. Hands down worst experience ever

I politely asked if I could check in a bit early since we got in town a bit sooner than expected and her response made me feel like I asked if I could sleep in her bed and she could make me some breakfast. Our next encounter was with a male with no shoes on at the front desk and asked him for three towels for the bathroom since I don’t prefer housekeeping in my room during my stay if it’s a short one. I was told I could have one. Wow. Impressive hospitality. Best part was I paid a month prior for my room using One Key credits and my visa but was charged again by the hotel days after checking out. At full price weekend rate of course. Hands down worst experience ever

The facility has been recently rebuilt, so the building/furniture/room were in good condition. The shower curtain had a big stain. There was no hair dryer in the room and the front desk attendant only grudgingly found one for us to use. She actually went into three other rooms before she found one. The breakfast area was very dirty, spilled waffle batter all over the counter, partially eaten food on the tables. Nobody around to tidy things up as guests ate. DISGUSTING!!!

It is an older property that has been recently updated. I think they do a very good job with what they have. Things were acceptably clean but not new. The staff was very attentive and making every effort to meet my needs. The breakfast was much better than most free breakfast offerings I've had lately. Chlorine in the hot tub and pool may be a bit high but I'd rather have that than not enough.

These hotel rooms are immaculately clean and the beds are very comfortable. The man working at night was extremely kind and helpful. My complaint is that this hotel is LOUD. You can hear everything. All night I could hear the person above me stomping, dogs barking, and doors slamming. In the morning the breakfast was very sparse, lots of things were gone. The lady at the front desk was also in charge of the breakfast and said she would get to it when she had time. There just wasnt enough food out for the people wanting breakfast.

We booked a larger room with a pull-out couch for our family of five, and it was a disappointing experience. When we opened the couch bed, the mattress and sheets had urine stains, and there was an earwig in the bed (our kids named him Earl). After moving the couch, we found Doritos and more earwigs underneath. The staff brought replacement bedding, but it was also stained, and there wasn't even a comforter. We ended up getting an air mattress because we didn't feel comfortable using the pull-out bed. The room smelled clean and looked fine at first glance, but it was only surface clean. The overall cleanliness, especially the bedding, fell well below expectations.

This hotel had a very loud air conditioner, not plastic or glass glasses for water! Not enough electrical outlets to plug in microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator at same time! The refrigerator froze any items put in there! Technology plug outlets in room not all of them worked! The free breakfast had nice selections but the eggs were cold! No cups for coffee and very small plastic cups for the juice and water! Only Trix yogurt offered! I will not stay here again! No elevator for 2nd floor! Steep stairs!
