The hotel has a great location and we enjoyed the shuttle service from the port and metro. There is a free cell phone for personal use including free international calls. Friendly and helpful. Clean room--a bit on the small side. The only negative was that there was a febreeze scent coming from the air ducts that bothered me--only when running the air. I would stay there again. Breakfast available for a fee.

Room was very clean and recently renovated. The young gentleman at reception was very courteous and informative. He went out of his way to bring me an iron and ironing board. Breakfast selection was great and hotel offered free shuttle service to cruise terminal.

To all potential guest: beside and across the steet is monitored and secured locked parking garages. No need to search in vain for street parking on narrow roads. Ideal for early morning ferry departures due to 5:30am breakfast and 24hour reception and access to locked garage!

Hotel was very clean. They let us check in about 1-2 hours early which was good as we were very tired from a long flight. Room was small, but bed was comfortable. Room was surprisingly quiet while outside was very noisy with cars. Breakfast available for 9 Euros and was good, especially the coffee. Elevator is super tiny. Not big enough for two people and suitcases. Stores and restaurants all around that area. Overall a good stay

Convenient for the port but did not live up to expectations after reading the Expedia site and reviews. Would have preferred to pay for a better breakfast than the free one provided. Very noisy overnight with children shouting and dogs barking. Lift is tiny. Room also quite snug.

Excellent location for transferring to the ship with the free shuttle to the ship. Metro a 5 minute walk to visit Athens - then about 20-25 minute metro ride to the city. Also easy to take the metro direct from the airport to the hotel.

Very basic. No kleenex in bathroom, only combination of shampoo and shower gel. Room very small and nowhere to place luggage where you could open up except the floor. Breakfast wasn’t special. Charge was 9 Euros and not what we expected by the reviews we read. Very small area to eat. Staff were very helpful but did not have our transport to the port correct. Had to wait for 45 minutes. The transport to the port was complimentary so that was a plus. It’s convenient for departing on a cruise if you’re there for one night but wouldn’t choose again.

We found two long black hair in the room comforter. I have red hair and my daughter is blond so it wasn't us. Also we were promised a free breakfast which now costs $9 per person. Front desk staff really nice

Très déçue, vu les commentaires positifs. Nous avions l’unique chambre au niveau de la réception et du pdj (à partir de 5h30), c’était donc bruyant, le wifi dans notre chambre était très faible, odeurs dans la sdb, fenêtres donnant sur l’intérieur de l’immeuble ; j’aurais aimé être prévenue de cette situation. La « salle » du pdj est dans le hall, très peu de places, très serrés, obligés de partager sa table avec d’autres clients (vu le standing affiché de l’hôtel c’est déroutant), personnel débordé. L’hôtel propose une navette pour le port, le chauffeur de l’hôtel n’était plus disponible à l’heure de notre départ, le jeune homme à l’accueil nous a appelé un taxi qui a mis du temps à arriver, cela a généré du stress car il y a de la circulation sur la route et le ferry a fermé les portes 10 mn avant l’heure du départ. Les seuls points positifs étaient l’excellent pdj et la localisation à 2 pas de la marina et du métro et la navette gratuite. À 130 € la nuitée c’est beaucoup trop cher pour la prestation proposée !

Pros: Bed is okay, not to much noise, sufficient electrical outlet, and room was clean. Cons: Rm. 308 has balcony with no view. For fuller person, the bathroom is tight. Avoid using the bathtub, the poor plumbing drainage has our bathroom floor flooded which is dangerous. I have photos to prove it. Can't say about the other rooms, but based on this disappointing experienced, the good reviews are overrated.

Very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, any requests dealt with immediately. Room was clean and comfortable with a nice small balcony to sit on. Free bottled water in fridge and nice coffee pod machine in room. Requested twin room but got a double, but king size bed was big enough for two. Extra duvet was a bonus too. Air conditioning very effective.would highly recommend this hotel, amazing value for money. Even got given a small bottle of wine on departure as a gift and check out attendant gave us his personal mints as we were worried about how much garlic we had eaten the previous night! Amazing customer service.

This hotel was so helpful from arranging shuttle service from the airport to early checkin to recommendations for services nearby. The rooms are modern and spotless. All staff were very friendly and efficient. The area is close to shops, restaurants and the walkway around the pleasure boat harbour. A free shuttle to the ferries is provided. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but did have a wonderful cappucino in the lobby.

We stayed here for a night before starting on our Viking Cruise. It is a great little boutique hotel, very clean, quiet and close to shops and restaurants. We would definitely come back to this hotel and recommend for anyone who wants great customer service and a lovely, reasonably priced hotel.

The Phidias Piraeus Hotel is located one block off the Marina. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The shower, the air conditioner and lighting were all better than expected. We arrived early and did not wait long for our room. The people working the desk and the chef were all very friendly and helpful. There is an elevator, although small, but it made life easy with our heavy bags. Breakfast was a buffet of different hot food like eggs, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, and a nice selection of breads and cookies and cakes, yogurt with all the fixings, and a fancy coffee machine for lattes, cappuccino, espresso, flat white, and more. The small balconies allowed us to get the breeze instead of needing the air conditioner on.

Room was TINY! ONE hanger in the closet. Place to store luggage while waiting for room didn’t seem secure. Convenient to cruise terminal though.

Room was very clean and recently renovated. The young gentleman at reception was very courteous and informative. He went out of his way to bring me an iron and ironing board. Breakfast selection was great and hotel offered free shuttle service to cruise terminal.

Very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, any requests dealt with immediately. Room was clean and comfortable with a nice small balcony to sit on. Free bottled water in fridge and nice coffee pod machine in room. Requested twin room but got a double, but king size bed was big enough for two. Extra duvet was a bonus too. Air conditioning very effective.would highly recommend this hotel, amazing value for money. Even got given a small bottle of wine on departure as a gift and check out attendant gave us his personal mints as we were worried about how much garlic we had eaten the previous night! Amazing customer service.

A great pre-cruise stay. Began with George picking us up at Athens Airport and wrapped up with courtesy transport to cruise terminal. Clean - modern room with frosty AC!! Front desk ladies - Maria in particular were very helpful - would stay again!!

We stayed at Phidias twice now - both times the rooms and hotel were extremely clean and well looked after. The service was beyond exceptional and the staff were extremely friendly. You felt like you were staying with family. I would highly recommend staying here.

This hotel was so helpful from arranging shuttle service from the airport to early checkin to recommendations for services nearby. The rooms are modern and spotless. All staff were very friendly and efficient. The area is close to shops, restaurants and the walkway around the pleasure boat harbour. A free shuttle to the ferries is provided. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but did have a wonderful cappucino in the lobby.

The staff was amazing. The front desk staff I dealt with, Nikos and Kostas, were amazing. Excellent location for transferring to the ship with the free shuttle to the ship. Metro a 5 minute walk to visit Athens - then about 20-25 minute metro ride to the city. Also easy to take the metro direct from the airport to the hotel.

We stayed here for a night before starting on our Viking Cruise. It is a great little boutique hotel, very clean, quiet and close to shops and restaurants. We would definitely come back to this hotel and recommend for anyone who wants great customer service and a lovely, reasonably priced hotel.

This was a perfect spot for us to stay the night before our cruise. We took the express bus from the airport to the port, walked 10 min and found the hotel. It's literally a 2 min walk to the Harbourfront where there's everything you could want: restaurants, takeaway, ships, a grocery store, Starbucks, pharmacies. I even got my nails done and my husband went to the barbers'. It was ideal.

We found two long black hair in the room comforter. I have red hair and my daughter is blond so it wasn't us. Also we were promised a free breakfast which now costs $9 per person. Front desk staff really nice

The Phidias Piraeus Hotel is located one block off the Marina. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The shower, the air conditioner and lighting were all better than expected. We arrived early and did not wait long for our room. The people working the desk and the chef were all very friendly and helpful. There is an elevator, although small, but it made life easy with our heavy bags. Breakfast was a buffet of different hot food like eggs, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, and a nice selection of breads and cookies and cakes, yogurt with all the fixings, and a fancy coffee machine for lattes, cappuccino, espresso, flat white, and more. The small balconies allowed us to get the breeze instead of needing the air conditioner on.

They advertised free breakfast but it is $9 per person. Airport to hotel is 35 minutes in regular traffic,2 hours in rush hour. $65 per trip. Free shuttle to port. Beautiful rooms but loud lobby if you are on the first floor.

We arrived very late and the hotel clerk was VERY, VERY helpful with our luggage and welcoming! Also a good location for catching the ferry the next day which the hotel arranged ahead of time. The hotel breakfast is OUTSTANDING!!! I would highly recommend the hotel to future travelers.

We had a very good experience with the hotel and the staff. We were unable to stay here due to an issue with the room that day, but the staff had rebooked us at another hotel and provided transport to the new hotel and also their shuttle to pick us up the next day and get us to the cruise port. Things happen and the staff at the hotel did a great job resolving the issues and keeping the entire situation stress free for us especially after a very long flight.

We had a very good stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was nice. The overall location was great close to stores and restaurants but there is no view other than the neighborhood flats that are a bit rundown. To be fair it’s Greece, they are a poor country and the whole City reflects that. The breakfasts were okay but the coffee was excellent! There could be more thought into the room amenities. We had no place in the bathroom for our toiletries bag and only 1 short hook to hang towels or clothing. They placed the clean towels on our bed so we had to stage them on our suitcase overnight. There are also no outlets in the bathroom. The AC worked very well! Overall the place was nice and only minor things could be better. We would book again.

Shockingly tiny room with an even smaller bathroom. Elevator could only take one person at a time. This hotel is a joke. DO NOT STAY HERE. Room had space for a bed and nothing else. We were very uncomfortable and could not wait to leave! I would not call this a hotel - it’s a boarding house! This should not be on hotels.com as an option. A poor excuse for a hotel. I wish I could have given it ZERO stars.
