The roof had black spots, the sheets had stains and the wood trim had screwdrivers in them. The only good thing was that the staff was very nice and that they allowed dogs. Breakfast was a waffle maker and some cereal but there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Pool was not clean and looked like it was falling apart. It was way to expensive for the condition of the hotel.

This place has some bad reviews but appears to be under new management and is currently being renovated. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Couldn’t ask for much more with such an affordable price. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area and on a budget

Front desk acts as though they don't understand English! No comforter just a thin blanket. No phone in room to even call front desk. Ice machine broken, chest freezer in lobby was mostly full of frozen together block and staff was zero help with my need. If it weren't medically necessary for us to stay close to Gainesville we would have left immediately after check in! This is not a comfortable place to stay, especially with a sick child that was getting ready for a hospital procedure!

At check in we were given a smoking room which we did not book. The room reeked of marijuana and cigarettes. We asked for a different room and they sent us to a single bed room for 4 people. We asked to be moved again but were told there were no double rooms left. However they did have one. This room required my husband to climb in the window to get in. The electronic door was broken. Inside the room the 2 beds were basically xl twins, safety latch broken on door , window had no locks and black mold all in the bathtub.

it was very clean and the employee was very respectful the Breakfast was perfect as the POOL and the sport area. I t was a great stay at that Hotel we are very happy and very convenient for our Needs . BRAVO HIGH SPRINGS INN IN ALACHUA FLORIDA USA.

We booked with the High Springs Inn for a few nights in mid June 2025. The Inn is undergoing renovations which Peter, the owner, made us aware of prior to our check in in the afternoon and upon arrival, gave us our choice of rooms and locations. Carline, his wife set up breakfast and runs the desk in the morning. They are wonderful people, very honest and scrupulous in their dealings. They treat you like family and are kind to all that come through the door. The facility is located close to the numerous springs in the area and is a great place to stay while in the area.

This hotel was digsusting. I had to move rooms 3 different times because there was either no electricity, tbe shower was broken and the room was filthy. The final straw was when there was a used condom next to the bed. The staff are usless & dont care. Dont stay here.

The room was dirty and the sheets were not changed and the room had not been cleaned. The management was very apologetic and made every effort to rectify the situation. Don't think I would go there again just now but have definitely not ruled out going there sometime in the future. Big kudos to management for making ammends

The one staff member at the hotel was great. Upon checking in, we had a room with mold, curtain hanging off the wall, broken light switch. He moved us to another room, which honestly wasn’t better. Knobs old & rusty, footprints on wall, carpet was really dirty. Potential is there, just really old and needs a whole turn over. Front entry lobby was remodeled and beautiful.

Tried watching tv in the first room which we requested smoking. That room was fine except for the tv. Which was stuck on demo mode and no one knew how to change it. After going ton the office about 4 times in an 1 1/2 hrs. The lady behind the desk didn't seem to really care. All she wanted to do was move us to another room. Which we finally said ok just so we could watch tv but it was to a non-smoking. Which we had to take cause my husband is in a wheelchair and couldn't use the stairs. We will NOT be going to stay there again.

Yes, it is an old motel, outdated and needs a much needed renovation. Overall stay was not great as very little worked. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. No light in room. Had to use bathroom light. Bed covers need replaced. All rooms were booked this weekend in the area so this worked out good enough. Friendly gal working the desk. For the price I was ok, but wouldn’t stay again.

Room was small and smells bad. Beds were hard. Room heater didn't work (outside temp 28°F - room temp was maybe 65°F) even after running all night. Breakfast was seriously lacking. Only thing good was the hot water.

This was a quick stop to rest but it was so dirty I barely slept. The light in the vanity was broken. There was poop in the toilet when we got there. The shower head looked like it would fall out of the ceiling if used. The fridge didn’t work and there was a line down the middle of the tv. all in all it was sketchy. I do not recommend. Staff was nice.

Had to stop for 6 hours of sleep and got a room here but I’m totally regret. Everything is horrible. Many rooms with boots by the door outside, trash, noise music at 11:30 pm, room and bathroom dirt, towel should be clean but was dirt, partially no light, booked king size bed and got two full, bad smell. Barbecue setup and people drinking at 11:30… the list could go on but it’s not worth waist time.

Front desk assistance was great. Very friendly & extremely helpful. Quiet and very relaxing. Breakfast was good but limited on food to choose from. Not a bad stay considering the great rate offered for stay. Overall, I'd give it 3 1/2 stars and would recommend for short stay.

Check in was a little chaotic. Since I had booked through Expedia they couldn’t find that I had already paid in full at first. It took them awhile to find it. The manager kept saying that it was payment was declined loudly which was quite embarrassing. It all worked out eventually though. The rest of the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom door stuck and was difficult and loud to close. Overall, it was a great visit and we will stay here again.

We booked and when we got there they had given our room away and tried to tell us that we didn’t book and couldn’t find our name or anything but I had called them an hour beforehand to make sure everything was secure and it was up until we got there.

I'm in the travel industry and stay at a lot of hotels; this was one of the worst! Under construction at time of my visit, so give them that. But would have been better if they had just closed. The odor in rooms was unbearable. I asked for help but their solution was to come in and spray the carpets. they did check other rooms but those also carried strong odor. I asked employee to leave the spray bottle so that I could re-spray, but she said they didn't have any more, so would have to check if she could leave what they had. She never came back. I eventually had to go out and purchase spray. No hot water on day 1; improved day 2. TV didn't work. They came in and changed some wires around which provided solution for about two hours. I'm in the travel industry and stay at a lot of hotels; this was one of the worst! Under construction at time of my visit, so give them that. But would have been better if they had just closed. The odor in rooms was unbearable. I asked for help but their solution was to come in and spray the carpets. they did check other rooms but those also carried strong odor. I asked employee to leave the spray bottle so that I could re-spray, but she said they didn't have any more, so would have to check if she could leave what they had. She never came back. I eventually had to go out and purchase spray. No hot water on day 1; improved day 2. TV didn't work. They came in and changed some wires around which provided solution for about two hours. We booked with the High Springs Inn for a few nights in mid June 2025. The Inn is undergoing renovations which Peter, the owner, made us aware of prior to our check in in the afternoon and upon arrival, gave us our choice of rooms and locations. Carline, his wife set up breakfast and runs the desk in the morning. They are wonderful people, very honest and scrupulous in their dealings. They treat you like family and are kind to all that come through the door. The facility is located close to the numerous springs in the area and is a great place to stay while in the area.

The staff were very nice. The area felt safe enough and there was a Sonny\'s right across the street, with several other places nearby. The highway (I-75) was very convenient; right beside the motel. There were some definite negatives, as well: The light breakfast was convenient, but the sink in the food area had a lot of drain flies above it, very near the waffle batter & syrup dispenser. The milk was nice and fresh, but it was in a refrigerator marked "Employees Only" and there was no sign to show where to get it (the staff was on hand and pleasant about showing it). On my 2nd night, there were a couple (or 2-3 people, I couldn\'t tell) near my room who were CONSTANTLY knocking loudly, pounding, arguing from 2-3:30am or later. It was incredibly disturbing.

Front desk assistance was great. Very friendly & extremely helpful. Quiet and very relaxing. Breakfast was good but limited on food to choose from. Not a bad stay considering the great rate offered for stay. Overall, I'd give it 3 1/2 stars and would recommend for short stay.

This hotel served our needs perfectly. It was clean, quite, comfortable. Staff was very nice and helpful. I wished for a little more in offerings at breakfast, but it was filling and tasty, and staff gladly helped me with it. I was very pleased and grateful.

There was little to no hot water to shower. There was no in-room coffee. There was no grab bar to enter the shower / bath tub. The refrig & microwave worked well. There were no donuts or eggs or healthy cereal at breakfast. The breakfast started at 6:30 & should start earlier, if there is no coffee in the room.

The room was clean but still had a new paint smell to it. The shower and shower head were old style and the stall and tub were old and worn. No breakfast and just basic coffee.

I was in total shock when I saw the room. The pictures online are beautiful rooms. What we walked into was nothing short of a nightmare! The odor was awful, pure mold smell, everything was disgusting. The only thing clean were the sheets. I was told over the phone when I called to make sure it was ok if I checked in late, around midnight that, yes it was ok and everthing will be fresh and clean brand new for me. It was far from that. I don’t think I will ever recover from this stay. It is definitely false advertising and now looking back the pics online are AI. I will include our pics and the pics online
