Adorable attached 2 room cabin with little kitchen. Just enough parking when all cabins occupied. Several excellent restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Just be aware that the beds are very high and you have to climb in if you are short. Good water pressure and hot water. Very responsive hosts. Contactless check in and out.

Thisbplace was phenomenal. I went to hike the High Peaks and treated myself to a bed instead of camping. I loved it. The living room area cozy and looks like cabin Like basicallyba studio apartment with a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bath. The host super reaponsive. Its next to restaurants. You can walk to Olympic Center and 15 minutes from ADK Loj if you are hiking. Only thing is pool not working but all else great My niece would love this place. Oh and soft beds and great towels!

We had the perfect stay. The room was recently refurbished and modern with a rustic "Adirondacks" touch. The entire place was spotless and made you feel at home -- instead of the experience you usually get from the typical hotel room. It\'s close to everything but just out of the way to avoid downtown traffic. To top it off, the price was quite reasonable for all that you get (we\'ve paid a whole lot more elsewhere for a whole lot less). We\'ll be back during ski season!

Very nice accommodations. There is no one to greet you when you get there. You just grab the key for your room. That was not a problem and it worked out fine. The room had a separate bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area. There was also a small kitchen. Overall an excellent place to stay.

Our room was the only one without curtains or window treatments. We had to get extra blankets from the office to hang on the bedroom windows. Other than that it was clean, spacious, warm, easy location.

This was a "contact less" place. We made our reservation after office had closed, so keys were not waiting for us as indicated in small room. I had to call and was told to look for key in a box. The room was very clean and comfortable, but our roku television would not load and the same was true for our neighbor's tv as they asked us for a help with it. I sent a text at 9:15 pm, but no response until the next morning.

This was a "contact less" place. We made our reservation after office had closed, so keys were not waiting for us as indicated in small room. I had to call and was told to look for key in a box. A few issues with receiving info and having incorrect information on the sheet in the room. However, Dan was more than helpful in solving those issues quickly. I’m sure it will be a lot smoother in the near future. Very clean and no staff around, which was nice.

The check in and check out process is very unorthodox but extremely easy and simple. I was a little worried when I went into the office/welcome room to get the key because it smells like cigarettes, but the room itself was perfect. You can tell they are updated rooms and look exactly like the pictures shown. They even have that fresh wood smell which makes the room feel like you’re in a cabin and not just a room. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back.

The hotel was a great budget friendly option for our Lake Placid visit. Clean, comfortable and close to everything. My only complaint was that there was no regular coffee in the room or in the office, only decaf! Also, no stir sticks. Small but important!

We made last minute reservations to come to Placid to hike during peak foliage. The Snowshoe Lodge was a great place to stay. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and in a great location to walk to the village stores, restaurants, and around Mirror Lake.

We stayed in the room with the kitchenette and it was huge! The bed was comfy too. I know that most people probably don’t cook, but we usually will cook breakfast. The pans were cheap nonstick pans that were all burned and scratched up but other than that we had a great experience.

Rooms were updated but could use better cleaning. Pool still had cover on it with weeds growing on top. Small air conditioner in rooms worked for us as the temperature wasn't to hot. Many light bulbs in fixtures not working and toilet seat was loose. Poor communication at check in.

Because of the marathon and Porsche conference selling out most places, we stayed here for the first time. This place was close to the restaurants etc on Main Street with about a 10 minute walk to the Olympic Center. Our main issue was the there was no air conditioner, although it said AC included on the Hotels.com site. With two of the days very humid and in the mid 70s, we didn’t sleep well. We actually had to go buy a fan. it’s basically more like a log cabin in the woods/motel than a hotel. Everything else was good in the room and it was nice to have a Quick 10 second check-in and check out.

Because of the marathon and Porsche conference selling out most places, we stayed here for the first time. This place was close to the restaurants etc on Main Street with about a 10 minute walk to the Olympic Center. Our main issue was the there was no air conditioner, although it said AC included on the Hotels.com site. With two of the days very humid and in the mid 70s, we didn’t sleep well. We actually had to go buy a fan. it’s basically more like a log cabin in the woods/motel than a hotel. Everything else was good in the room and it was nice to have a Quick 10 second check-in and check out.
