Joya Casa de pueblo con patio privado

We spent one week in Joyas Village and really enjoyed it. When we arrived, the owner Dennis was there to show us everything and to give us a lot of tips about Zakynthos. During our stay he gave us a lot of more information about beautiful spots and nice places to eat.We found the house as described, well maintained and with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Also the basic equipment like soap, toilet paper, dish washer soap, towels were there for the whole stay, very nice and helpful. Especially the backyard is such a lovely place to spend time together for eating or playing games. The village is very quiet, you have two small super markets, two bakeries and two taverns. I recommend to rent a car so you can easily reach the beautiful beaches and spots in the area. We enjoyed our time there and would love to come back.

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und haben uns während unseres Aufenthalts im Joya Haus sehr wohl gefühlt! Wer Luxus erwartet ist allerdings hier falsch. Es ist eher ursprünglich, unberührt ohne schnick schnack aber das ist es was diese Insel ausmacht. Wir haben magische Momente erlebt die wir wohl nie vergessen werden. Im Ort scheint die Zeit stehen geblieben zu sein und man genießt einfach nur das schöne Leben auf dieser magischen Insel. Die Dorfbewohner sind sehr freundlich und herzlich sodass man sich sofort wohl fühlt. Der perfekte Ort um seine seelischen Akkus wieder voll zu laden. Vielen herzlichen Dank für diese schönen unvergesslichen Momente, wir werden euch nie vergessen und kommen gerne wieder. Danke auch an Dennis der sich immer wieder mit wertvollen Tipps und Hinweisen während des Aufenthalts bei uns gemeldet hatte. Es war großartig!

We had great holidays this very pleasant house, quiet and very comfortable with a nice patio. The hosts are super nice and available for any questions. I fully recommand. Hosts are super easy to reach and available.

Wir haben, mit 3 Erwachsenen und einem Kind, 11 Nächte in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbracht. Die Einrichtung ist in sehr gutem Zustand und von Kochgeschirr bis Duschgel und Waschmaschine ist alles im Haus vorhanden was man sich nur wünschen kann. Besonders schön ist der tolle Innenhof, in dem wir viele Abende verbringen durften. Der Gastgeber ist ein überaus freundlicher und zuvorkommender Mensch, der einem jeder Zeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht und einen mit tollen Ausflugstipps versorgt. Der Ort Agios Leon verfügt über ausgezeichnete Tavernen, eine Tankstelle, Bäcker und mehrere Märkte in denen man alles erhält was man für den täglichen Bedarf benötigt. Insgesammt eine wunderbare Region auf der Insel mit tollen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Besonders die 2 naheliegenden Strände haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

This is a gorgeously renovated traditional village house. Everything was clean and comfortable. The village of Agios Leon is up in the hills which are green and very beautiful an and is very central for visiting different areas of the island. There are two bakeries, several cafes and shops, and the excellent family-run San Leon Taverna which serves fantastic and excellent value food. Dionisis the host was very helpful both before and during the trip. He met us at the house when we arrived and explained everything in the house and made us feel very welcome and at home. Overall this is a great place to stay.
