This hotel doesn't have a spa, sauna, bar or restaurant. But for all that it lacks in things like that it makes up for in heart. The rooms are spacious and clean with lots of tea and coffee. The beds are extremely comfortable and every night was a quiet, peaceful rest. But the staff here are the real stars of the show! They are so helpful, and no request is too much. They look after you like you are family. They were so welcoming to our dogs and the area outside is perfect for exercising them. Just a few minutes walk away is the welcome break services and while this is expensive there are lots of food options available to you and they even allow the dogs in the main area. I definitely recommend the chopstix food! Best chinese I've had in a long time. Truly a very enjoyable stay here, we're well rested and felt very looked after. Huge thanks to the hotel manager, whose name I sadly failed to get. I have to mention the amazing Tina, Chris and Katie, those three members of staff in particular made every effort to make us feel welcome and make sure all our needs were met. I look forward to our next stay here! Big thank you, Days Inn!

Nothing extraordinary. If you are expecting air conditioning because it's an American chain, nope. Room is decently large and stairs are wide. Be sure to register your license plate to avoid fines.

A comfortable, nice size room. Overall the room was fine the only point of improvement would be the bathroom suite was tired looking and was worn in places. Nice grassed area outside to get the dog out while we stayed. (not enclosed/secure) Also never had to pay additional parking when staying at a motorway hotel outside of the London area. Only £5 but an additional cost upon arrival. Although signage did suggest this was included if you booked direct with Days Inn.

The room was clean and fresh on arrival and in perfect order. We had a good night’s sleep with very little noise around. The receptionists were welcoming, polite and efficient. However, a £5 charge for parking was a surprise. If it is in the small print Hotels.com failed to highlight this extra charge which is disappointing. .

Pleasantly surprised at how large the room was. While there are a few areas of wear and tear, I found the room to be comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable and even thought this location doesn’t have airco, they do have a fan in room. While small, the fan was sufficient to keep it cool enough for a good nights sleep. We would definitely return to this location, if needed, in the future. No info about breakfast because we didn’t need it but you are conveniently next to a service area so there are options available. You do need to walk to these, it seems, because upon leaving the hotel in our car, the only way we could go was towards the exit to the highway. There is a small fee for parking overnight.

Pleasant staff let down by shabby hotel. The bathroom was covered in black mould, tiles were grotty and the showerhead was very loose. Mould remover and fresh sealant would work wonders. The tv remote only partly worked, the trouser press was missing a part. Only enough milk for half a cup of coffee. Cheap but definitely not cheerful.

Staff was nice, days inn is the definition of a budget hotel. The room is in drastic need up modernising, single glazing windows. The shower room smelt damp and had mould. Extractor fan didn’t work after having a shower when I arrived. Told management so they could rectify the issue. Told me they couldn’t do anything. Terrible night sleep, might has well put a tent up on the side of the M1. Would not recommend if you want to sleep.

I have already sent this to Days Inn . The room was extremely tired and worn. There seemed to be, what looked like , a blood stain on the Duvet under the cover. The curtains (on the ground floor next to the entrance) were broken and difficult to close. The woodwn frame arounfd the bathroom door was rotten. Partially missing and still had been painted over. No plug sockets near the beds . One had been blanked over . Stained carpet . I was glad I brought slippers. Just overall. Very disappointing.

As my room was behind reception, it was a bit noisy when staff changed over. Also you could hear people walking in the room(s) above due to thin boards - e.g. child running around another room not directly above, could be heard in my room below. Hotel was fine, very good value for money and easy access etc but the noise that comes from people walking around in the room above you sounds like they are walking around your room. Couldn't get a decent sleep at all, no problem with the bed or anything it's just the creaking and cracking coming from the ceiling was horrendous. I don't like leaving negative reviews because as I say it was really inexpensive and clean, but just incase you are a light sleeper, maybe ask for a room on the top floor, whichever that may be

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The customer service was excellent, especially from Katie at the reception, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She always ensured we got the same room each time we returned, just as we requested. The location is perfect, and the price is very reasonable for the quality of service provided. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again!

Perfect for our two night stay. The receptionist couldn't have been more welcoming on our arrival and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious and clean. Will definitely be using Days Inn again.

We had exact number of guests as booked but reception was rude. Wouldn't recommend this for the money we paid. Go few miles away and decent one would be easily found.

Better directions would help. The post code input to our GPS took us to the south going side of the road and as it was dark we did not see Days Inn on the other side. Location shown as Woodall Service Station would help find the place.

Good budget stay convenient for M1 trip. Check that your window shuts properly as there is a little noise from M1 audible otherwise.

It was fine, good price, basic but comfy. It would be helpful if instead of giving sat nav which drops you to wrong side of motorway, there was information on website that you can put the actual name in and sat nav might take you to correct (M1 South) side _

Nothing extraordinary. If you are expecting air conditioning because it's an American chain, nope. Room is decently large and stairs are wide. Be sure to register your license plate to avoid fines.

All very good except the signage. I was nearly back on the M1 before I saw the sign hidden by bushes. there was no sign as I came off the M1 and as it was dark I had to assume it was there somewhere

Pleasantly surprised at how large the room was. While there are a few areas of wear and tear, I found the room to be comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable and even thought this location doesn’t have airco, they do have a fan in room. While small, the fan was sufficient to keep it cool enough for a good nights sleep. We would definitely return to this location, if needed, in the future. No info about breakfast because we didn’t need it but you are conveniently next to a service area so there are options available. You do need to walk to these, it seems, because upon leaving the hotel in our car, the only way we could go was towards the exit to the highway. There is a small fee for parking overnight.

It was last moment booking and the price was good. Unfortunately the conditions of the bathroom make the full experience disgusting. In other hand *Breakfast included* is 15£ voucher to exchange in the service area for a meal that you can pay by yourself for less than 11£.

This hotel doesn't have a spa, sauna, bar or restaurant. But for all that it lacks in things like that it makes up for in heart. The rooms are spacious and clean with lots of tea and coffee. The beds are extremely comfortable and every night was a quiet, peaceful rest. But the staff here are the real stars of the show! They are so helpful, and no request is too much. They look after you like you are family. They were so welcoming to our dogs and the area outside is perfect for exercising them. Just a few minutes walk away is the welcome break services and while this is expensive there are lots of food options available to you and they even allow the dogs in the main area. I definitely recommend the chopstix food! Best chinese I've had in a long time. Truly a very enjoyable stay here, we're well rested and felt very looked after. Huge thanks to the hotel manager, whose name I sadly failed to get. I have to mention the amazing Tina, Chris and Katie, those three members of staff in particular made every effort to make us feel welcome and make sure all our needs were met. I look forward to our next stay here! Big thank you, Days Inn!

It’s a highway stop type inn. It served the purpose we needed. Break-fast included was at the service stop and was sort of a hit break-fast, was okay. Staff were pleasant. Room was very basic, but good enough for what we needed. No fridge in the room though.

The place looks a residential house with no support. You have to call a phone in order to get inside. International travelers like me who have no ability to call cant access the property. I recommend this place to no one.

Clean room, helpful staff. The shower had great water pressure we were given plenty of towels one small one large for each person and the hairdryer was very powerful we brought a sound machine for our 3 year old and it helped drown out any sounds from the corridor but overall it was very quiet anyway. It was very dark once the lights were off and curtains closed which helped aid a good night's sleep. I wasn't told how to go about getting breakfast when we checked in but the lady the next morning was really helpful finding out for me and telling us where we needed to be. There was a small dent at the back of the bathroom where someone obviously was too zealous opening it and the bathroom door handle doesn't turn so if you are going to the toilet at night you are forced to give it a little shove shut making a bit of a noise but otherwise I would definitely recommend this as a good and affordable location to stay.
