Stayed for 2 nights when attending Caesars Casino Windsor for a show. The outside of the property looks nice, clean, landscaped. The inside is under renovations but the hotel smells like mildew. Our room appeared to have an updated laminate floor but the bathtub appears to be original as the rest of the room. Limited breakfast dining as it closes at 10am on weekends. No ice machine was working on our floor, the only 1 we saw was in the lobby. The pool is also currently closed. Saturday morning @7:45am a smoke detector in another room was sounding. This happened 5x and finally @9:30am the staff were able to locate the room it was coming from. The staff were very friendly and pleasant at all interactions. The bed was comfortable, the towels were super soft! I would not choose this hotel until the renovations are complete.

The website offered a pool and hot tub. And they assured us both would be in working order when we checked in. Actual Facts: The pool was freezing and hot tub was not only not working, it was closed permanently! When I checked out, I asked for a refund and they told me they couldn’t do that! I can’t believe Holiday Inn allows its name to be associated with that establishment!

Pros: Friendly staff, efficient check-in, clean Cons: barely any water pressure in shower, bathroom sink backed-up, 2 of 3 elevators worked (which was difficult when the hotel filled up with teenagers and their parents for a baseball tournament- started taking the stairs to the 6th floor to avoid jam packed elevators during a pandemic), shoddy repair work clearly visible, gym equipment not the greatest and does not include a proper spin bike, baseball tournament parents blaring music and drinking in front and back parking lots.

Pros: Great mattresses and pillows Great location Affordable Connecting rooms Friendly helpful staff Great fitness area Cons: Extremely dirty - we only saw a housekeeping cart once, the third morning, the morning of our departure - they need to invest in actual full-time cleaning staff who actually clean Bathroom had mold & hair in the shower & the door did not close properly Headboards had snot on them & I had to wash them myself Pool area was a nightmare - hot tub is out of order but not fully drained so it’s a tub of moldy stagnant water & it stinks.. badly. It made it impossible to enjoy the pool area. That and the rust in the pool. Don’t swim if you don’t have a tetanus shot.

Many water damages in the bathroom and sealing. Very noisy AC system. Maid were not nice. Hot tub not open and restaurant only serving breakfasts but noone tells you this before you get there. The bathroom was run down and dirty. The walls are yellow. Quite frankly I went to your establishment many times before you guys close for a few years. It used to be much better. I was disappointed and I don't think I will come back.

Upon checking in we were told that the pool and hot tub were in working order. The next morning when we tried to use them we saw that the hot tub was out of service and the water in the pool was freezing. When we asked the concierge on duty they told us that the hot tub was decommissioned and wouldn’t be reopened and that the water was at a proper temperature. The hallways had a strange, musty smell. The room was decently sized and the bed comfortable with enough pillows. It was relatively clean but a little dusty. What was most upsetting was that we booked this hotel because of the pool and hot tub and weren’t able to use either. They are listed on the Expedia website and there was no notification of any issues when I received a notice from the hotel before checking in.

Continental breakfast was bad. They did not restock and stuff was cold even hot water was cold. Didn’t even bother using second day because the first day was such a disappointment. Hardly any food left with still an hour left in breakfast service . Gym is very very basic. No cleaning supplies in the gym and it’s very stuffy in there . Hot tub was closed . Staff were very nice and friendly . Front desk unattended for a good 10-15 mins trying to find someone to help because we couldn’t get back in the room. Room AC units are really load. Toilet didn’t work right. They keep the place clean and staff is friendly but it needs some upgrades there big time,

Hot tub was out of order and not disclosed upon booking. That was one of my main reasons for booking this specific hotel, my body is sore after a long drive and I really wanted to relax in the hot tub. Laminate floors in the room make it feel cleaner which is nice.

Room was ok but could have been cleaner. Dusty and cobwebs on floor in corners. Numerous surfaces hadn't been wiped clean. Bed and pillow were comfy. My room did not get cleaned on the weekend and this was not made clear that I had to ask so after a long tiring day I came home to an uncleaned or tidied room.

The rooms and facility itself was extremely clean and looked well taken care of. I had no issues at arrival and was greeted by 2 lovely ladies who were kind, patient, polite and professional. Thank you for making the stay so enjoyable!

This is a very old hotel but given it is a Hilton property it’s very disappointing. When you exit the elevator onto the fourth floor, it smells musty and the carpets were very dirty.

The pictures of the hotel and descriptions of this hotel are not accurate. -The hot tub doesn’t work and appears like it hasn’t been functioning in a long time. - the pictures taken of the pool must be from years ago as the fountains going into the pool clearly haven’t worked in years as there are stains on the pool sides. There are no longer pool umbrellas -the tvs are not smart tvs. You can only click the up and down channels on the tv. Terrible for young kids if you want to use the tv as it’s impossible to find anything this way. There are no movie channels. No one could help with how to work the tv. - limited towels, and had stains - there was either red paint or nail polish on the floor and furniture. The baseboards were falling off. - the really nice looking bar in the photos isn’t open. They only have breakfast. - very limited staff available. - hallways smell like urine. Turns out this hotel has been used to accommodate refugees and they are now just starting to renovate. I would strongly recommend people wait until this is renovated before booking a room here. This was extremely upsetting the whole experience as the photos on Expedia do not reflect the current look or services of the hotel. The hotel is very run down now.

Room was about a 7/10 cleanliness. The down fall with our room was could hear the elevator beeps and people talking like as if we were right in the hallway. Other than that, we enjoyed the pool and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff which was one young man, which he was amazing! The food was not bad. The building needs more lights in the outside to make it feel more welcoming. The entrance could use some decor to help it feel more comfy and warm.

The door to the bathroom was faulty. As a result, I got stuck in the bathroom for about one hour and a half as a claustrophobic person and a senior citizen. When I notified the front desk they informed me that maintenance would be sent up after my departure. Extremely dissatisfied with my stay. What else is a senior citizen to do I get so helpless

Room was ok but could have been cleaner. Dusty and cobwebs on floor in corners. Numerous surfaces hadn't been wiped clean. Bed and pillow were comfy. My room did not get cleaned on the weekend and this was not made clear that I had to ask so after a long tiring day I came home to an uncleaned or tidied room.

Our room was so noisy. We were directly across from the elevator and every time someone got off or on the doors chimed three times. There were kids running up and down the halls playing hockey. Honestly it was so loud! Plus no restaurant. Not a great stay for what we paid.

The property was in rough shape. Our original room was not clean, missing a the fridge and the bathroom door was falling off. The staff was kind enough to move us to a different room.

We were in town for a university tour. We arrived late and left by 10am. The room was serviceable we weren’t thrilled to be out in an adjoining room right beside the elevator but understand that there are limited rooms available. The alarm clock in the adjoining room went off around 11pm With no one in that room to turn it off and, when we tried to call the front desk we discovered our phone didn’t work. My son went to the lobby and the alarm clock was silenced within a 1/2 hour.

Great stay. I know it’s random room selection but it’s tough travelling for business and being put right beside the elevator. This is my 5/6 time staying at this location and would recommend it to anyone. Steve at the front desk is one of a kind and an employee that deserves a shoutout. His customer service went along way with me.

Great 2 nights, clean hotel. Quiet and front desk staff were attentive and welcoming, when I checked in it was seamless and when I checked out they were prepared with my paper work. I will be staying again.

Restaurant completely closed, pool not open, room phone didn’t work, took 15 minutes to check in as no staff was present upon arrival. Had to wander the hallways yelling for someone. Asked to speak to a manager, none was available. Asked for a rate reduction, it was told someone would get back to me. Incredibly disappointing.

The hotel overbooked. When I arrived, they did not have a room for me. They tried putting me in a room with no working shower, no bedding, and holes in the wall. Then they came up and apologized for giving me that room because it wasn’t meant to be booked. They moved my son and I to a new floor. The room had no bed at all, just a single pullout couch. And no phone. The phone was the least of my problems but did make it even more frustrating because I had to try to look up the number for front desk myself. Then they came back up and apologized because they didn’t realize we actually wanted beds. My son is 14. It’s inappropriate for me to share a bed with him. They said they would fix it, but didn’t come back up. We dragged everything back downstairs and talked to the front desk who told us they had done everything they could and had offered a room. I asked for a manager, they said no one was available but I could phone on Monday. I asked for a refund since I at that point had to drive home, they refused. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I was exhausted. Thankfully Expedia helped out but the hotel itself was horrible!!!! I’ll never book again at a holiday inn.

Pros: Great mattresses and pillows Great location Affordable Connecting rooms Friendly helpful staff Great fitness area Cons: Extremely dirty - we only saw a housekeeping cart once, the third morning, the morning of our departure - they need to invest in actual full-time cleaning staff who actually clean Bathroom had mold & hair in the shower & the door did not close properly Headboards had snot on them & I had to wash them myself Pool area was a nightmare - hot tub is out of order but not fully drained so it’s a tub of moldy stagnant water & it stinks.. badly. It made it impossible to enjoy the pool area. That and the rust in the pool. Don’t swim if you don’t have a tetanus shot.

Room was about a 7/10 cleanliness. The down fall with our room was could hear the elevator beeps and people talking like as if we were right in the hallway. Other than that, we enjoyed the pool and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff which was one young man, which he was amazing! The food was not bad. The building needs more lights in the outside to make it feel more welcoming. The entrance could use some decor to help it feel more comfy and warm.

I booked this hotel because your website stated free shuttle to airport. Told at front desk that there isn't and you should get some lights turned on at entrance so the place doesn't look so scary. Room is clean.

630am breakfast was listen and told by front desk. Our first morning we were down 645am and it was just being set up. No food was ready so we were given menus and it was made for us. The guys were great. But the next morning we were down later and yes it was running as usual but the food was cold, or stations were empty. There was no juice or milk. Didn’t help that there was a large family who had cleaned everything and kept going back for more. Meanwhile these 2 workers couldn’t keep up.

The hotel is renovated and clean. Though our room is a bit small and comfortable. Room is clean. Theres fridge and safe. Housekeeping is attentive. When we call for extra towel or having some issue with our key card, they were there right away. Breakfast is great. Lots of hot and cold meal options. We stayed for 4 days and they change and add 1 or 2 dishes everyday so we didn’t get tired eating the same food. Like that they have coffee and tea all the time. Love the part that their managers are there standing at lobby of the dining area to greet their guests every morning during the breakfast hours. Overall we had an amazing time staying at this hotel. Thank you the great customer service experience. We will stay here again the next time we come back, hopefully soon.

The experience was bad. The pool heater was broke, lack of staff, first room was dirty so we had to ask for another, we literally had to ask for everything that wouldn't been expected. I prepaid for the breakfast online and was seriousness let down. When I got to the restaurant another guest told me "good luck they are seriously understaffed". When we arrived at the buffet there were no plates, silverware, eggs, or sausage. If felt like the sausage and potatoes were precooked and dried out. Lastly, the shampoo and conditioner was not new! This hotel does was operating like a cheap family run motel.

Continental breakfast was bad. They did not restock and stuff was cold even hot water was cold. Didn’t even bother using second day because the first day was such a disappointment. Hardly any food left with still an hour left in breakfast service . Gym is very very basic. No cleaning supplies in the gym and it’s very stuffy in there . Hot tub was closed . Staff were very nice and friendly . Front desk unattended for a good 10-15 mins trying to find someone to help because we couldn’t get back in the room. Room AC units are really load. Toilet didn’t work right. They keep the place clean and staff is friendly but it needs some upgrades there big time,

My boyfriend and I were excited for this booking. We wanted to get out of the states for a little get away and we're excited for the included breakfast and pool/hot tub. When we got there everything seemed okay until it wasn't. When we headed down for breakfast in the morning we were very confused since the whole dining room was pitch black and empty when there was a sign that said "breakfast everyday from 6:30-9:30am" and we got there around 8am. We looked around for a while and there was nothing, and by the time we went to the front desk to ask it was past 9:30. The worker said we were supposed to order from the restaurant. It wasn't stated anywhere that we had to do that so that was very frustrating. Then the same day we went to check out the pool. We were so excited for the pool and hot tub so we could relax. Then when we go to the pool there was caution tape everywhere and the pool was out of service. Which again was very frustrating since we came all the way to Windsor for these things. Then the next morning we woke up and we were sweating to death. The window AC unit was on full blast and it felt like nothing was coming out. We looked at the thermostat on the wall and it said "FAIL" we went and talked to the front desk to see if we could do anything and they said they just installed the wireless thermostats and that the window unit was all we had. My boyfriend and I were so excited for this trip and were very disappointed.

Upon check in the staff was very short and borderline rude. When I asked questions about the price, she basically just responded like I was bothering her. We got our keys and went up to our room only to find we were given the keys to a room that was occupied. We went downstairs to let the person at the desk know and I was told I was wrong that she never gave us the keys. When I showed her the card and what was written she grumbled under her breath changed the room keys and mumbled “sorry” like we should have known better and was a bother. It got worse as the night wore on. My husband went to the front desk to ask for another towel. He was questioned as to why he needed it and then it appears that they reluctantly went in the back to get it. It was like they were doing us a favour instead of doing their job. And on top of that our room(206) had a questionable smell in it. Just wanted to leave and be done with the whole experience.

Opened the little fridge and it's so gross full of sticky brown stuff. Rooms just dirty. The POOL was nasty. Things floating in it. We couldn't swim. Just yuck don't stay here.

My room was on the 4th floor, as soon as I exited the elevator the floor had a bad smell. My room as I entered I could smell mold/mildew. Shower curtain torn old and smell of mildew. The refrigerator had mold. Bed was comfortable. Would I stay here again, No.

Well the hotel was going through renovations the elevators were funky one would stop on every floor going down, Grill55 was only open for breakfast, don’t recall if pool was supposed to be heated it was cold staff were very professional and helpful later in the week I believe Windsor was having a little league ball tournament kids running up and down the halls making lots of noise but just tolerated it overall 4 out of 5 convenient to most things
