Très beau bâtiment, le petit déjeuner est bon et offre plusieurs option. Parking gratuit. Piscine petite mais discrète et peu fréquentée. Seul bémol l'isolation du bruit exterieur qui peu le soir ou le matin poser problème.

What a stunning place, we loved it! It's an old and famous house, very well maintained and so beautiful. We also had dinner at indigo one evening, which was amazing and even the wine from China was surprisingly good! Comfy bed, nice pool area, good breakfast. Definitely to recommend, the whole experience from A-Z was perfect.

Exceptional hotel, service was impeccable! The room was very spacious with all the amenities you would need. Lots of extra special touches included for your stay, loved the small sweet treat left at night. Breakfast selection was very good, the staff’s attention to detail was superb. Would highly recommend a stay at the Blue Mansion, not only for the history but also the level of comfort. The only negative was that the pool was a bit out of the way to get to & didn’t have the same atmosphere as the rest of the property, otherwise could not fault the service, room & all other areas of the hotel.

Such a beautiful and historic place to stay. It felt really special. Room was big and clean, service excellent, good choice for breakfast. We had the tasting menu which was delicious. And had the pool to ourselves for a couple of hours each day. Going to miss this place!

A special place and a privilege to stay there. Staff were attentive and helpful, food and bar good, room was large and comfortable. It’s a historic building, beautiful, so don’t expect the facilities of a bland international hotel. It’s boutique. Cosy, and private in the guest areas - special after the day tour visitors have gone. Pool is small, but perfect for a cooling dip. Lovely

A definite must stay hotel. What a mansion and staff! Every thing was possible and did happen, the staff were efficient, very friendly and capable. The breakfast menu and selection was vast with Kumar being the best lemon daiquiri maker. The food and service was excellent. The beds and pillows, oh so dreamy. Honestly, every single thing about this mansion was 5 star. There is a traditional Guznan player and a jazz band in the more contemporary part of the hotel, both very good. The mansion has an amazing history and looks magnificent. The bathroom products are super and plentiful. They offer a thorough and informative tour of the mansion. You must stay here!

年末年始に４泊しました。歴史的建造物ですが、中はよくメンテナンスされていて快適に過ごせます。宿泊者はレストランIndigoやBarの料金が10%引き、館内の見学ツアーにも無料(見学者は25RM)で参加できます。朝食はメインを選んであとはビュッフェスタイルで美味しかったです。なんと言っても食堂の雰囲気がとても素敵です。宿泊料金以上の価値があると思いました。

Overall, we liked our stay at The Blue Mansion - the staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is good. We checked in on a Saturday and there was a concert in the open area, which was very close to the rooms. The daily room cleaning was of variable standard.

Hotel magnifique rempli d’histoire. On se sent vraiment à l’époque de la dynastie royale . Très propre . Petit déjeuner excellent ( surtout le yogourt maison ) jus frais pressé. Il y avait même du pain sans gluten. Piscine chauffée. Le spas dans la chambre un bel ajout. On a adoré.

This was an amazing hotel experience with the historical background of who originally built it. Room was huge. Amenities fine. Nice small pool. High end and casual dining options. Easy walking to historic streets of George Town. Music next door a bit loud one night but it stopped.

優點：Manager Fazli 非常棒，我怕早晨光線太亮，他竟然率隊用黑色彩紙貼把3公尺高的拱型窗戶貼的很完美。 缺點：美麗但老又有歴史的觀光景點，住宿比較沒有隱私。另外2 F為木地板，住1 F會被2 F的腳步聲影響。

We booked just a regular room and lucked out with the Old Kitchen room. It was amazing. We had a private hot tub to use and just an overall comfortable room. The bed was great and the AC was even better. The staff is amazing and goes out of their way for you. The mansion is a must stay just beware that the hawker next door is very noisy but stops around midnight. We ate there and it was fabulous. The breakfast at the old mansion is way better than any standard free breakfast I’ve gotten anywhere else. My husband and I agree that was hands down the best hotel while we visited Malaysia.

Historical building in the center of old George Town. There is so much history to this building especially if you are familiar with early 1900 East Asian history. Walkable to Armanian street with all the cool street arts, and this a lot of restaurants near by. Friendly staff that kept the property well maintained. The house condition shows the age, but consider this property was built over 100 years ago, you can’t complain too much. Only negative if the loud music from the food center next door that lasts until midnight every day, makes deep sleep a bit difficult

The most unique hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The house is beautifully presented with a balance between traditional furnishings and modern amenities. The only drawback was that there was no A/C in the house other than the bedroom, so it could get quite hot. However, the A/C in the bedroom worked very well so there was no problem falling asleep. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Penang.

A beautiful and unique place to stay. We loved our room. Keep in mind that there are daily tours. When we first arrived there was a tour going on and while the tours do not enter the private guest areas, we were a bit alarmed at the noise level, and also that we were not able to sit in the bar area for a cold drink. However, once the tour was over everything quieted down and we able to enjoy the space. Our room was on ground level, but our friends had booked a suite which was up a very steep and long flight of stairs; another thing to keep in mind. But the suite was huge and spacious, as was our room. The staff was perfectly lovely.

We had a great stay here! The hotel is beautiful and is also a museum / UNESCO heritage site - so a really unique and special place to stay in George Town! Our room was traditional and had direct access to the swimming pool (which was brilliant in the heat!) There is a nice bar and breakfast was tasty! The staff were really attentive! We would recommend and stay definitely stay here again!

The building is simply magnificent. No matter where you are or what you look at, it fills you with a sense of happiness. The breakfast was also incredibly delicious and the perfect way to start the day. In addition, a handwritten message was delivered to the room, and on it was a quote from the Dalai Lama, written by hand. Such a thoughtful gesture! Above all, the staff are truly exceptional. When I had a question about the air conditioner in the room, a staff member came to help — and to my surprise, he took off his shoes before entering the room. I was deeply moved by his politeness and attention to detail. When visiting Penang Island, I can no longer imagine staying anywhere other than CHEONG FATT TZE – THE BLUE MANSION!

Very nice restoration of a grand property. The staff are all very thoughtful and helpful. An example was making breakfast boxes for us because our checkout was very early. Food on the property is quite good. It is a small hotel only 18 rooms so there is limited staff sometimes you need to find them but they are always very helpful. An annoying issue for me was their automated checkin which asks for a lot of information including a pic of your passport. The software doesn’t always allow you to enter information (I used my iPhone) . The number listed to call also seems is not wifi calling friendly so high charges were required.

What an amazing place to stay! We loved everything about the Blue Mansion - from the wonderful friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you to the delicious breakfasts, the spacious bedrooms with complimentary goodies and the beautifully decorated rooms & courtyards. The complimentary guided tour was informative & amusing. We will definitely stay again when we are back in Georgetown.

During my stay I needed medical assistance. The staff were quick and responsive to my needs and I felt I could not have been in better hands, Thanks to Vincent, especially. I was provided with immediate care at a nearby medical clinic, all within the hospitality of the hotel. Now THAT was unexpected and I'm very grateful. The sign of a great hotel. The level of care was first rate and I'm now fully recovered.

This was an amazing hotel experience with the historical background of who originally built it. Room was huge. Amenities fine. Nice small pool. High end and casual dining options. Easy walking to historic streets of George Town. Music next door a bit loud one night but it stopped.

This is a beautiful traditional building which also has a museum. It was used to film some of the scenes in “Crazy Rich Asians”. The building itself is gorgeous, and my room was very comfortable and had all the expected amenities. The breakfast was really nice and the hotel is well located in Georgetown. I was able to walk to shopping and restaurants, and always felt safe. I would definitely pick this very special place again for a future stay.

空港からタクシーで５０分くらいです。 近くのレッド・ガーデンは歩いて行けます。 以前に見学ツアー参加してプラナカンの歴史を感じながら宿泊も出来るマンションだとわかったので次にペナンに来る機会があれば是非泊まってみたかったホテルです。スタッフの方々がとても親切で朝食もお部屋に用意して下さったお菓子も美味しかったです。青い空と外観のブルーが素敵なホテルでした。また機会があれば泊まってみたいです。朝チェックアウト後に早く空港へ向かうため朝食はいらないと伝えたらサンドイッチとフルーツを用意していただきました。お世話になりました。

Historical building in the center of old George Town. There is so much history to this building especially if you are familiar with early 1900 East Asian history. Walkable to Armanian street with all the cool street arts, and this a lot of restaurants near by. Friendly staff that kept the property well maintained. The house condition shows the age, but consider this property was built over 100 years ago, you can’t complain too much. Only negative if the loud music from the food center next door that lasts until midnight every day, makes deep sleep a bit difficult

We stayed for 3 nights on our tour of Malaysia and were wowed out by whole experience. The hotel is in a fabulous location with Chinatown, the harbour and many other attractions within walking distance (or accessible by free CAT bus) The rooms were extremely comfortable and steeped in history. The breakfast was delicious and our sampler menu dining experience was a real treat. Two areas however really stood out; Firstly, the hotel is also a museum and is full of amazing history. A free tour for residents is provided and we were lucky to go on the Friday morning tour that was led by the owner Loh Lim who was informative and passionate about the property history and renovation. I would recommend doing the tour early in your visit so that you can appreciate the finer points of the hotel. The greatest asset of the hotel however is the staff who were fabulous. They were super attentive and friendly...if only the staff at Raffles in Singapore and The Majestic in KL could match the staff at the Blue Mansion! Remember, it is a museum and a live renovation project so it's not the super swanky experience of some of the other 4 and 5 star hotels on our travels but the service and atmosphere was outstanding! Thank you to the team for a magical experience.

If you're looking for a unique place to stay, The Blue Mansion is it! The mansion itself is beautiful and the staff were very nice. It's walking distance to a lot of the attractions Georgetowm offers and close to the ferry if you happen to be coming through that way. Highly recommend this place if you are staying in Penang :)

We loved the historical aspects of the building. The room was very nicely appointed, it was quite spacious, the bed / linens were very comfortable and the hot tub was nice as well. We also ate there a few times, one was for the Father’s day dinner with live music. It was a little expensive, but the food was very good. The breakfast buffet and afternoon tea is very good too.

Lovely property which is close to tourist attractions. Breakfast was included and options were to order a la carte and/or have the buffet offerings. All quite tasty. Everyday the room service was excellent and a lovely Malay treat was placed in the room. Music in the cafe next door might disturb some guest but earplugs were provided. We used the pool to cool off everyday which was a great way to relax and chill down before dinner. The history of the building and ambience was the very unique. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

What a stunning place, we loved it! It's an old and famous house, very well maintained and so beautiful. We also had dinner at indigo one evening, which was amazing and even the wine from China was surprisingly good! Comfy bed, nice pool area, good breakfast. Definitely to recommend, the whole experience from A-Z was perfect.

Lots of extra special touches included for your stay, loved the small sweet treat left at night. Breakfast selection was very good, the staff’s attention to detail was superb. Would highly recommend a stay at the Blue Mansion, not only for the history but also the level of comfort. The only negative was that the pool was a bit out of the way to get to & didn’t have the same atmosphere as the rest of the property, otherwise could not fault the service, room & all other areas of the hotel.

Despite the promise they would cater for gluten free breakfast, it was a real struggle. Same for dinner and prices were too high for quality of food. As I'm coeliac, and despite my timely request, I didn't feel that staff and management put real effort in accommodating GF support. Overall, a very average experience.

A definite must stay hotel. What a mansion and staff! Every thing was possible and did happen, the staff were efficient, very friendly and capable. The breakfast menu and selection was vast with Kumar being the best lemon daiquiri maker. The food and service was excellent. The beds and pillows, oh so dreamy. Honestly, every single thing about this mansion was 5 star. There is a traditional Guznan player and a jazz band in the more contemporary part of the hotel, both very good. The mansion has an amazing history and looks magnificent. The bathroom products are super and plentiful. They offer a thorough and informative tour of the mansion. You must stay here!

年末年始に４泊しました。歴史的建造物ですが、中はよくメンテナンスされていて快適に過ごせます。宿泊者はレストランIndigoやBarの料金が10%引き、館内の見学ツアーにも無料(見学者は25RM)で参加できます。朝食はメインを選んであとはビュッフェスタイルで美味しかったです。なんと言っても食堂の雰囲気がとても素敵です。宿泊料金以上の価値があると思いました。

Breakfast selection was okay... always difficult to get a good western style breakfast in Malaysia. But good omelets were available. Coffee was good too. We had a fabulous tasting menu with wine pairing at their restaurant one evening.

Bellissima dimora storica, perfettamente restaurata,un tuffo nel passato. Il colore blu della facciata è unico 😍 Io avevo la camera old kitchen anche con una bella vasca grande idromassaggio. Personale gentile, appena arrivati ci hanno proposto di noleggiare una bicicletta ed è stato molto divertente. Molto buono il ristorante Indigo all'interno della struttura. La colazione potrebbe essere più varia soprattutto per il salato. Ogni giorno c'è la possibilità di effettuare una visita guidata della dimora. Un luogo che non potrò dimenticare!! Molto consigliato 😍😍😍😍

The choices and quantities on the breakfast buffet are so poor that guests just glance at the offering and turn around and go outside the hotel to find breakfast. There is essentially no hotel room service, bath towels are not changed, minimal in room coffee and tea choices and quantities are limited, and room features are quite bare. Room lighting is very poor and the general room atmosphere is dark and cold. We have stayed at far better and higher quality hotels in Penang at a comparable room rate but after experiencing the Cheong Fatt Tze Blue Mansion we would not recommend it to anyone and we regret having spent so much to get so little.

Had everything needed for a wonderful stay. The building is around 150 years old so don't expect modern amenities, but it has very good facilities nonetheless. Staff were friendly and very helpful, room extremely comfortable, good A/C, good pool and excellent breakfast range. The free tour was a great bonus. It's in easy walking distance of all the main sights in George Town and the area felt very safe. Worth staying at the Blue Mansion just to say that you have stayed there. The fact it is also a very decent hotel in addition to being a top tourist attraction is the icing on the cake
