They seem to have a perfectly good breakfast area, but don’t seem to ever use it. A simple breakfast bar with coffee, juice, pastries, fruit, toast, yogurt etc. would be better than nothing at all. The pond out back is really nice though.

Very easy to pull into and park and unload necessary overnight luggage. The room was very clean and had a good clean aroma in it. All national parks and points of interest for me was very handy and convenient. Thank You Colton Point Staff, Good job...

We had a pleasant stay for 2 nights. Husband and I took a motorcycle weekend away. We stayed in unit 10 which was located on ground floor in house behind motel. It was super clean, super comfy. My only gripe is that I thought I was booking a motel room so I could have my bike right there in front of my door. Parking on the side of motel was not too easy on a fully loaded harley street glide. gravel and no way I could back it out had to turn it around but then bike almost fell over and I needed help picking it up off the kick stand. Other than that It was Perfect and I did see that I could have gone in and talked to the owner and parked probably somewhere else but it was not really a huge deal I would definitely Stay here again!! Thank you to the owners for our wonderful stay!

This is a quaint old-style motel with drive up rooms. Right on the main highway and close to the PA Grand Canyon. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating, and because she is a local resident, she knew a lot about the area. The highway can be a bit noisy at night but with the fan running on the air conditioner, the traffic noise was drowned out. The beds are very comfortable and home made breakfast was delicious. We would defiantly stay here for our next Pine Creek Gorge adventure.

Walked in and it was instantly comfortable. We had room number 1 which has a king bed and it was very comfy. Bed has super nice and long pillows with warm and soft blankets. Fridge worked fine, lights were nice. My only “complaint” is that I wish the shower curtain was a bit longer or wider, as the water would get on the floor sometimes. It worked as you would expect though, it could have been longer but it was fine. Tv was adjustable and was the first time I’d ever been in a motel/hotel with a fire tv. Great quality, u can watch Netflix and YouTube on it. Ac was also nice and cold, just how I like it, right below tv. Felt very homey!

Overall okay. Would not stay there again in winter. There was no inside mat to wipe your feet on inside after a snowfall. The tv is a useless smart tv but not much to watch unless you have subscriptions. Need more bedside plugs for charging. Good coffee. The heater was noisy. Probably better in the summer.

There were no network channels on the TV, so I had to watch College football playoff games on my phone. The heating system was provided by a through the wall Heat Pump unit that cycled on and off all night and it was rather noisy. It took about five minutes to get hot water out of the shower, but after that, it was fine.

It was easy access to our room but room was very small! The room was very neat and clean! Although I would prefer a handrail in the shower and the toilet was shoved up against the wall not allowing enough space for comfort! Very nice people manage the place and breakfast was good for an added cost!

The room is small and outdated, but clean. Bed was comfortable, shower water pressure was great. TV didn't work well and the Wifi couldn't ever connect. AC/Wall heater buttons didn't work to turn it on or off (buttons smashed or missing). Breakfast wasn't great (undercooked and very great omelet and couldn't get any coffee until 8 a.m. However, the staff are super friendly and the location is fantastic if exploring the PA Grand Canyon.

Excellent hospitality and communication! We got a spacious 3-bed with a pond view room. The facilities are gorgeous and well-kept. Kayla on staff is fantastic and communicates every detail you could need for your stay. Also highly recommend the breakfast offered by the motel!

This motel was cozy and conveniently located. The property manager was very friendly, and though not free, breakfast was reasonably priced. I asked ahead and was able to have a nice hot cup of coffee as I watched the sunrise over the pond. Lovely.

Last fall, we chose this motel because of its proximity to the Pine Creek biking trail. Extremely pleased with our stay, it's now our go-to whenever in this area. Mgr. Kayla couldn't be more pleasant and accommodating; I botched our resv. and she graciously fixed it.

It is obviously a very old place, but they did well in the renovations from memory foam mattresses to 4 very comfy pillows on each bed, nice bedspread, shower stall and bathroom fixtures. Ali, on-site property manager and her daughter were best 'concierges' for the area and made great fresh breakfast. If we come back to the area, no reason to stay anywhere else. And the MAKE-UP wash clothes were ingenious, since the over abundance of fresh white towels aren't stained with makeup.

The bed was comfortable. The location was convenient. The weekday breakfast hours were limited, but the host graciously got us coffee and tea when requested. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

Clean room and great breakfast (extra reasonable cost). Very convenient for getting to both sides of the PA Grand Canyon and to rental of bikes for riding the on the Pine Creek Trail.

Wonderful location. Next to a small pond. Many hiking trails. Extremely friendly and helpful owner. Really good breakfast. Even my vegetarian girlfriend had some bacon-she couldn’t resist it’s irresistible scent. It is a bargain but don’t expect a Ritz Carlton.

The hostess was very friendly and accommodating, and because she is a local resident, she knew a lot about the area. The highway can be a bit noisy at night but with the fan running on the air conditioner, the traffic noise was drowned out. The beds are very comfortable and home made breakfast was delicious. We would defiantly stay here for our next Pine Creek Gorge adventure.

This is a quaint old-style motel with drive up rooms. Right on the main highway and close to the PA Grand Canyon. Kyla is a nice manager . The location of the motel is almost central to all parks and trails around the pine creek gorge in Pennsylvania. Very convenient! I would highly recommend it to friends and family .

Beautiful property with a pond. Clean rooms. Very affordable. Owners are fantastic people. Located about 8-9 miles from Wellsboro. Beautiful scenery. We’ll definitely be staying there again!

Clean room and great breakfast (extra reasonable cost). Very convenient for getting to both sides of the PA Grand Canyon and to rental of bikes for riding the on the Pine Creek Trail.

They seem to have a perfectly good breakfast area, but don’t seem to ever use it. A simple breakfast bar with coffee, juice, pastries, fruit, toast, yogurt etc. would be better than nothing at all. The pond out back is really nice though.

Wonderful location. Next to a small pond. Many hiking trails. Extremely friendly and helpful owner. Really good breakfast. Even my vegetarian girlfriend had some bacon-she couldn’t resist it’s irresistible scent. It is a bargain but don’t expect a Ritz Carlton.

It was easy access to our room but room was very small! The room was very neat and clean! Although I would prefer a handrail in the shower and the toilet was shoved up against the wall not allowing enough space for comfort! Very nice people manage the place and breakfast was good for an added cost!

The room is small and outdated, but clean. Bed was comfortable, shower water pressure was great. TV didn't work well and the Wifi couldn't ever connect. AC/Wall heater buttons didn't work to turn it on or off (buttons smashed or missing). Breakfast wasn't great (undercooked and very great omelet and couldn't get any coffee until 8 a.m. However, the staff are super friendly and the location is fantastic if exploring the PA Grand Canyon.

Our stay at Colton Point was wonderful. Our room was clean and we felt safe. The pond out back was a nice perk and we enjoyed the sunset from our paddleboards on the water! (The frogs enjoyed our company as well.) The host was especially helpful with check-in information. Rt 6 is a major road in that area so we did experience the noise from all the trucks back-and-forth, but it did not take away from our fun. We were able to sit out front for several hours one night, chatting and it wasn't disruptive at all.

After a little bit of confusion about the room, everything went very smoothly. The staff was very nice and the room very clean. The room was basic but nice. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean. There was no microwave, fridge or coffee pot in my room, but breakfast is available downstairs for an additional charge. I had the breakfast and it was good. There is parking on site. Would stay there again.
