Amicus Hotel

We stayed three nights in this lovely family-run hotel, located in a quiet, genteel area halfway between the railway station and the airport, and just about walkable to/from either, although we used the bus stop about 300 metres away to arrive from the railway station (0.90 euro fare), and Bolt taxi service to catch the plane home (4 euro). The hotel also has its own car park. The family are incredibly friendly, and helpful, and the hotel is exceptionally clean - if I have ever stayed in a cleaner hotel I cannot remember it. Plainly money to upgrade the hotel is tight, and working hard to keep what they have in good condition is vital - almost everything looks about 30 years old. The hotel has a lovely restaurant, serving good local food, with a nice terrace outside, so one can eat either inside or outside. The 10 euro breakfast is fine, and of good quality, but was more limited in choice than the cheaper breakfasts in the other hotels that we stayed in during our Baltic holiday. My only other criticism would be that the only English TV channel was the Polish TV English news channel, and was disappointed not to have BBC World as an option. Overall, I think that this hotel is an excellent choice for a stay in Vilnius, and represents excellent value for money, and would strongly recommend it to others for a comfortable stay in a nice area.

I arrived late, so I was a bit worried about check in...but it worked just well and easy, so thanks a lot. near airport, easy parking, good breakfast, quiet. all good!!

Hotel was clean and well run. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was large and comfortable. No A/C but had fan. Nice bar for afternoon and evening food and drinks. Can walk to oldtown, but several bus lines are 10 minutes away. Breakfast is extra and not as good as other hotels. Chunky key to carry and only get one.

Hôtel loin du centre à pied mais très bien si on est en voiture. Chambre correct pour le prix et fácil de trouver une place pour la voiture.

I liked homey atmosphere, staff services, food. I did not like the fact that there was NO air-conditioning in my room on a very hot day. The electricity in the hallway is not pre-programmed properly. No elevator service (one needs to carry heavy luggage) Unsafe slippery and irregular steps on your staircase (I fell and it caused injuries)

Staff was amazing. They let me borrow their personal adaptor cause I forgot mine until I bough one. Food was great. Very happy with my stay.

It was definitely poor experience. I’m not even talking about outdated furniture or appliances in the room itself. That would be expected. However, cleaning standard are simply shocking. The toilet had urine splashes all over the edge and it wasn’t cleaned from someone’s excrements. Apart from that, there’s barely any sound proof between the rooms. I heard the guys speaking in the next room till midnight, although they didn’t speak loud. Overall, I don’t recommend this place - wouldn’t stay there ever again. God forbid.

Convenient location near the airport, perfect for a short night before or after the flight. The property itself and the surroundings are quiet but the walls are paper-thin! You can hear your neighbors snore, talk, take a leak... Earplugs highly recommended 😊

There is no refrigerator, microwave and kettle in the room. If it had, it would have been perfect.

They barely spoke any english, the soundproofing of the room was very poor and the restaurant served us raw chicken..

Very quiet and quaint. Nice staff.

When we arrived at night the receptionist went out of her way to make sure we got a meal even though the kitchen was about to close. She also stayed late to make sure my husband got safely up the stairs to our room since he has limited mobility. The receptionist is also trying to help us get a package back to the USA with some keepsakes from our trip that we accidentally left behind. A really caring staff who go above and beyond the usual!

De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding was oké. Ontbijt matig. Een receptie, die niet altijd bemenst is, is klantonvriendelijk.

Flexible policy allows late arrival. Good stay overall but breakfast could use better menu

This is a great hotel in the vicinity of the Vilnius Airport and the prices are very good. If you need a place to stay between flights or after a long drive, Amicus is 100% reccomended. Many thanks !
