Tranquil 3BR Cabin Stay | Pool & Riverwalk Access

The house was great except that the interior walls don’t go all the way up to the ceiling so my young children had a hard time sleeping. Also the add seemed to me to indicate the place had a pool but the pool is across the property between two other properties and is shared by all three. Which is fine just not what I was expecting. Other than that everything was great, quiet area, large yard for the kids and dogs to run around in, and close to town. Check in and check out was hassle free.

I booked this property for 8 days for 4 adults and 2 kids. I was drawn to this cabin because of the pool, location, and allowing pets. Early in the stay there were issues with insects in the house, the large front windows were dirty, light fixtures were extremely dirty and also had dead bugs in them, the walls of the bedrooms on the ground floor do not go to the ceiling, so we could hear everything that was happening in the other rooms, the spiral staircase is very narrow and difficult for the adults in the group to navigate, so we had to change sleeping arrangements, so the kids got the big room and big bed to themselves (they loved that part), also because of the dark paint used through out the house, the current lighting in the house was not adequate and the house felt dark. Property manager was response to the insect issue and indicated that he would have the cabin treated the following day. Regarding the concern of the walls not going to the ceiling and the narrow staircase, he indicated he would check the listing- the walls are not noted in the listing and all of the pictures of the ground floor do not show the tops of the walls. There were other issues that had we not been in the space for a week could have been over looked. Good things: it's a cute space, the shared pool is nice, the large yard was great for the dogs to be able to run, location was good. We made it work for the week, but there are little things that could have made the stay so much better.
